Natural Ability: Oni Magic: Oni are good at getting things they want, be it through force of arms or magical trickery. Oni are well known for trapping the gifts they give to others in order to "steal" them back. Ayane can mark up to six items in her possession with her personal seal. She can summon these items at will. If she wants a different item than one of the current six, she must erase the seal on one of her other items then wait a week before she can place a new seal. If a marked item is in the possession of another, she has a vague idea of where said item is, but cannot summon it to her. (General direction and General Distance, like a giant game of hot and cold.)

Personality:

[+] Affectionate: Ayane is very affectionate to those she considers her friends. While she's not one to run across a room and tackle them as soon as they come in the door, she will make it known that she demands a hug every time she sees them - and it is up to them to deliver. She enjoys being close to her friends, and it's not surprising to see her fall asleep against someone's shoulder if she trusts them and the night is wearing on.

[-] Jealous: Ayane could almost be the living embodiment of what humans call the "green-eyed monster." If she thinks that her friend is paying attention to someone else more than her, she will become insanely jealous and attempt to get their attention back focused on her. It's even worse if she's in a romantic relationship - she will become extremely jealous of that person's time and will not back down until she is the center of their focus.

[+/-] Wolf in Sheep's Clothing: Ayane tends to act demure and innocent around authority figures. Doing her best to not get in trouble and playing up any preconceived notions of her inability to do anything "bad" or mischievous. However, when said authority figure(s) leave, all bets are off, and she will do whatever she feels like doing - even if it means breaking the rules to do it. She of course, will attempt to act innocent and coy and make all efforts to shift the blame off herself and her friends should she get caught, but it doesn't always work. She also tends to play coy and innocent when it comes to romantic encounters, only to show her true intentions later once it's clear the other party is interested.

[-] Powderkeg: Ayane's temper is a sight to behold. It can sometimes take quite a bit to spark her off, but once the fuse is lit there is rarely any stopping the rage-fit that is to follow. Screaming at the top of her lungs, threatening death and dismemberment is common, as is throwing and breaking things within arms reach. It is generally advised to leave the immediate area when Ayane loses her temper at you, unless you're willing to ride the wave of her assault to it's conclusion when she collapses into a sobbing upset mess. Even then, it's still advised to wait until she's cooled off completely before either apologizing or speaking to her further, lest another round of rage ensue.

[+] On my Honor: Ayane feels driven to care care of her friends and those she feels serve under her in some fashion. If she makes someone a promise, she will uphold it, unless circumstances make such a promise impossible. She looks out for those "under" her as a mother would, taking care of their needs, but not afraid to "chastise" them if they are acting out of turn. This mindset can get her in trouble at times if others feel she is talking down to them. In her mind, she is just fulfilling her responsibilities to those around her, she doesn't even consider if they might be offended by her actions.

Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy?

Ayane belongs to a large Oni family, being the eldest daughter (her older brother is already learning directly from their father) it is important for her to go out and see the world of Halloween and interact with all the creatures she can so she can function as the de-facto ambassador for her brother when he comes of age and seeks a wife. So it was decided that the best place for her to get to know as many creatures as possible was to attend Amityville Academy, where she would come into contact with creatures from all walks of life and even potentially locate a suitable wife for her brother.

FEAR Ability:

T1 - Call Thunder (The Charge): Focusing her fear, Ayane calls down a large bolt of lighting (followed of course by a boom of thunder) to strike her target and any who might be near them.

Misc. Notes and Errata

Oni Facts:

• Male Oni are large, muscular and sometimes having multiple eyes or "odd" numbers of fingers and toes. By contrast, female Oni tend to be very small and fair, almost mistaken for completely different species if it weren't for the horns and their horrific tempers.
  
• Oni HATE garlic - they can't stand it. They will do everything in their power to avoid it.
  
• Oni are noted for being cannibals in the human-world. They're not sure why humans think that though.
  
• Oni are sometimes branded as some of the dumbest demons out there - but they're actually quite smart. (That's not to say there aren't some dim bulbs but it's not their whole race... geeze.)
  
• Throwing peas at an Oni will cause them to go blind for a time. They're not sure why this happens, but peas are some of their least favorite food for this reason.

Ayane's Hobbies:

• Playing the Ruan: Ayane enjoys playing the Ruan, a traditional instrument passed down to her from her mother. It is a family heirloom, having belonged to the eldest female child of the family for many generations. Ayane practices often, and she can often be found with her Ruan in her lap, having either just finished practicing or just about to begin.
  
• Games of Chance: Ayane loves to gamble, she'll place a bet on just about any game of chance she can play. She's more partial to dice games than any other form of game, but she'll give them all a shot if she has the opportunity.
  
• Tea: Being the eldest daughter of the family, it is very important for Ayane to be able to show the proper courtesies to guests, so she quickly learned to love tea and the ceremonies that pertain to them. She's not one to do a full ceremony unless it's a formal meeting, but she's quick to offer guests refreshment if they enter her room.

For the most part this quest is very complete! No glaring problems with the personality, history or FEAR ability.

My only issue is that the Natural Ability is very vague. It sounds mostly like a demonic contract but to give a 'gift' would generally require GM approval to make sure the object or benefit was alright. You may not want to do that every single time.
Also keep in mind that she would be very very weak with magic due to being only a first year student. Granting magical favors and gifts may be beyond her abilities!
My suggestion is to revise this ability to something a bit more watered down, or to change it to something else.

Thank you so much for the crit! I was a little worried about her NA, to be honest, I went with it originally cause it is one of their core features in their lore lol - but I can understand it being potentially problematic!
