She stood in the exact spot she had taken her victory the day before, her body tense and ready for action. If her opponent didn't turn up (what was that little scruffy warthogs name?), then it would be an automatic win to her. Not exactly how she wanted to triumph over the female, but she would take it.
After all, even if she did show up, Kiun was still going to beat her. It was only obvious.
She dug her claws in and out of the dirt, digging tiny holes beneath her that she was enjoying imagining was the other female's face.

Her wounds had barely had a chance to scab over before she made her way to the area of her first loss. She would never give that puffed up water buffalo the satisfaction of seeing her forfeit her own challenge, so despite her aches she walked with her head high and a fire in her heart.
As soon as she saw the little wretch her lips immediately curled away from her canines, giving into an unconscious snarl. It would be satisfying to tear into that fur today, and get the victory she needed from yesterday.
"Get moving, princess, I've got better things to do today than pick your fur from my claws." Iesha crouched into a fighting position.

Her eyes narrowed at the sight of the ugly scruffy rhino that stood before her, all puffed out like she was going to win. It made Kiun sick to her stomach but her pose was firm. Her head still ached from her bare-win the previous day, but that wouldn't stop her.
She wouldn't be as fast moving today though, and that might let her down. Well, while she was sore, why not mess with her head a bit?
"Now now, I insist you take the first move, after all, it's only fair since you lost yesterday. Gotta make it easier on you," she cooed gently as she started her slow stalk around her companion (of whom she was thinking of a multitude of ways to make 'disappear'. Surely no one would miss one cubsitter).

If her mother was with her now she would warn against underestimating your opponents cunning, since every female possessed a wild dog b***h in their heart. Well, she hadn't said that for some females it was an actual b***h goddess.
"No, no, I insist that you go first. You earned it." She gave a sickeningly sweet smile, holding her paw out in a 'go on' motion. Iesha moved in at an easy pace, keeping herself at odds distance wise from the other. She would have to find out the name of this one, so that she could tell her family to hurry and reproduce another daughter to replace her when they couldn't find the corpse.

Kiun bowed her head, as if honoured by the opportunity to knock some sense into the spoilt, delusional female's thick skull.
"Well, if you insist," she cooed back, her body tensing instantly and throwing itself forward. She was not as fast as she was yesterday, her head protesting the fast-paced movement and resulting in only mild nausea as she moved.
She realised as she moved though, that she would be far too slow to hit the female. She growled as she moved though, the noise rife with anger.

Iesha braced herself under the assumption that the other female was actually going to hit her. It proved to be over prepared, and the attack itself only got a snorting laugh out of her.
"WELL, this is something, isn't it, princess?" Iesha teased, slipping around the other as fast as her limber muscles would allow. They were bruised, but functional; unlike the others tiny brain. She'd probably shook her up too much, and now it was rattling around in that cage of a skull like rocks in a cavern.

Kiun snarled. "At least I'm not afraid to throw a hit, where's ally our brawns from yesterday? Have they gone the way of your brains, and disappeared?" She tensed and launched herself forward again. Before she even came close, she knew she would miss.
Again.
Oooh, this is going to frustrate her to no end.

"They went the same way as your aim, apparently!" Iesha moved quickly to dodge the half assed attacked. It was getting frustrating on her end as well. Was she just toying with her? Surely she wasn't smart enough to even try something like that.
Bobbing and weaving, she jumped in to strike. Her paws had gone too far though, and she knew she'd missed before it swiped through air. Iesha was forced to snarl herself. This was ridiculous! They weren't dancing - she needed to make this b***h pay for ruining her winning streak, but she couldn't do that with empty hits.

She laughed at her opponent's miss. "Your aim has gone the same way as well, it seems!" She snapped, with a smirk. She readied her attack and threw herself towards the female.
The ringing in her ears had gotten worse though, and it was disorientating. So much so that when she landed - her attack completely missing - she stumbled for a moment. Woah.
Was she dying? She was not dying without the stupid warthog dying as well.

"Can we just stop talking about aim, since it's not doing either of us any good!" Talk about being the bigger person! After her miss Iesha was convinced some of the others ignorance had rubbed off on her, and that was why she had missed. Her hip and side was beginning to throb, a product of over extension probably.
It wasn't as apparent, though, until she went to strike for the second time. She missed because a jolt of pain had her pulling her paw back, stumbling a bit on the sand, growling as much to herself as the other. Ugh, why now?!

Kiun snarled. "It's not doing you any good," she snapped, but her movements were slowed. Her head was throbbing painfully now, and she was starting to see double. Woah, this was gonna hurt in the morning.
She held her ground though, planting her legs firmly in place and narrowing her gaze at the female.
What was she going to do next? Risk another attack, or would her horrible aim take the last move from her. She just really hoped there was not another headbutt coming her way.

"Pfft." Iesha stepped in for another charge, but found that movement on her right side was horrible. Her body had all, but locked up. Even though she wanted nothing more than to make the vulture eat sand, she knew better than to break herself in the process.
This duel was over before it began. If she had been a wise lioness she would have seen to her recovery 100% before trying, but Iesha was not wise. Still, she hadn't sucked as badly as the other. "I'd say that you've lost this one, you chuffed up water buffalo." Would she even know what a water buffalo was? All the better if she didn't.
"Try hitting something next time." Iesha wheezed.

"I would hardly call this a battle, as poor as your efforts were," Kiun sneered. "But if you're so desperate for a win, then I suppose you can claim this as yours. It's the only one you'll win against me, so I suppose it's fair."
She tossed her head, and regretted it instantly. Her vision swam around her in a maddeningly dizzy fashion. She needed to lay down and rest, she decided, before she attempted to wipe the floor with this little sand slug again. She would do it as well, she had won the first battle and this one would be nothing but a slight blemish on her score-card.
She would win the next round.

"My efforts? I wasn't the one who kept jumping in for a hit, and scrambled around like a cub looking for a tit." Iesha made a sound somewhere between a coughing of phlegm and a groan. It had been a piss poor fight, but a win was a win. "You can't hide from facts; you've lost. Deal with it."
Iesha turned her back to walk away as best she could. While she tried to hide the hobble in her step, she felt an obvious stinging pull towards places she hadn't known she had. What she needed was a good nights rest without having to think about kicking any leeches a**.
