There's talk on the streets, it sounds so familiar.The old song replayed itself in her mind. Walking close to the entrance, she
brushed the dust off the edge of her skirt. This was just one of those leap of
faiths into the unknown. Standing in front of a school, she felt the
anxiousness that came during those kindergarten days when her mother
dropped her off for the first time.
Great expectations, everybody's watching you.Once she had seen the other sharply dressed students and staff, she couldn't
help but stare at her own attire. A formal black coat and brown dress with a
neat bow tie to knot things up. She had hopes that it was enough to blend in
so she wouldn't look so out of place. She wanted to make a good first
impression.
People you meet, they all seem to know you.She had applied to the academy looking to improve her own writing skills
just as the other students have. Hearing their idle banter made her feel a little
more comfortable. She seemed to have the same interests as most of them.
Maybe it wasn't going to be a bad as her mind made it seem.
Even your old friends treat you like you're something new.Digging deep within herself, she steadied her nerves and walked to a small
crowd of people. She smiled and introduced herself. "Hello everyone. I'm
SpyFoxy. Nice to meet you."

Just thought I'd switch it up. Hi fellow role-players! I'm SpyFoxy, but you can
call me Fox for short. I've just joined Gaia a week or so ago and I was looking
for a place to make new friends who also enjoy writing.
Outside role-playing, I do enjoy photography. I'm still an amateur and my
knowledge doesn't really extend beyond point-the-camera-and-shoot, but it is
a lot of fun. I also work and volunteer for the medical first aid team at my
university.
But I guess, I've made you suffer enough by reading through my poorly written
introduction so I'll leave it at that. Also, a disclaimer - the lyrics are from an
Eagles song and not my own. If you don't know who they are, you should
