[prp] Wonderlust [ Muraco x Hamish ]

In the pride full of different species- but the mostly dominate lion pride made Muraco feel- not only off but even more like he didn't belong. Then the marking ceremony came and when one of his brothers got marked undesirably.. Things just wasn't the same. They were separated and it was as if he weren't his brother at all. Different sides of the pride. He hated it- and often found himself at least visiting his brother from time to time when finally when the rest didn't listen to how wrong he was marked. He came to Hamish with a proposition. 'Let's find our father.' Who KNOWS where their mother was- but it was their father that apparently was in one set place. They just had to find it.

"Hamish...." He was ready. This morning would be the morning that they escaped. He didn't want to hurt their adoptive mother- a beautiful lioness that cared for them as if they were her own. Still. He didn't want to leave and risk her crying over them to stay. "You awake?" It was morning and most of the pride was asleep at this hour- that's what 'vamps' did right?

"Hamish~~~~" He called out again- but in such a low and urgent tone. Looking around suspiciously.. Morning-- they were getting the heck out of here. It was the only time when they were under the radar..

Hamish hated this pride. Ever since he was given the undesirable status as 'marked', he dreamed of leaving it behind. Sometimes these dreams involved the pride being invaded by another. He would rather be a slave along with the rest of them than what he was now. Everyday was worse than the last. It was only the loyalty to his family that kept him here, and only one returned it. Muraco. If it wasn't for Muraco, Hamish would have either left or done something drastically stupid to either be exiled, or, more likely killed.

This was the day Hamish had been waiting for and he had overslept! With a jolt he clamored out of his resting place and came running to the spot they were supposed to meet.. Not exactly quietly or in a tactful fashion to say the least.

"Sorry! Sorry!" He whispered in a loud whisper. "Let's get the hell out of here, Brother." Hamish wasn't even going to wait for a response, he just began working his way towards the rouge lands. They could speak once they were clear of danger.

Muraco couldn't help but smile to see his brother.. He should have been marked of beauty like the rest. Shaking his head of the thoughts of the past. Only the future and finding their parent was ahead of them. "Alright~" Nodding off in the direction of where they were headed. "I found a path that the guards seem to always over pass so let's go before they make it a routine to patrol there." Giving his brother a familiar brush against him before leading the way to the trees. It was then that of someone coming made him stop in his tracks and dodge for the nearest rock and pulled his brother along too.

Lowering Hamish's head and watched as a black and green lion went through- he was speaking to someone... eyes straight at him before he was gone enough to be able to move again without detection. "Ok coast is clear." Then quickly made his way over the rock like a -spy- or something other than just a regular member. He was agile, and quick to disappear if Hamish wasn't as in a hurry as he was. Then there lay ahead was a cave of sorts, he turned. "I followed this tunnel two moons ago. At the end- we're golden. You sure you want to do this? Once we leave, I don't wanna look back til we find him." Referring to their father.

If Muraco didn't lower his head for him, they would surely have been caught. That would have ended their journey right there! Hamish shuddered at the thought of what his punishment would be. That was one he wouldn't be able o talk his way out of.. At the question from his brother, he chuffed with a 'you know better than that' smirk.

"I never want to look back. Let's do this, brother." He scrunched up his paw into what would be a fist and put it up in a 90 degree angle for his brother to echo so they would touch fore"arms", in their 'secret' handshake of honor.

After the had done the paw shake. He gave him a nod and quickly he ran through the path that he had mapped out in his head. He always a sense of direction. Having learn from the hunting parties of their lioness mother. Once they were in the clear of where the guards often checked perimeters. It was the next layer that boundary that they needed to watch for.

Letting his brother catch up, he nudged his shoulder. "I can't believe we're finally doing this. We get father. Then see if he wants to come back with us. Maybe speak to Nyota to help get the others out. Although they don't seem at all interested in leaving. Not like we were." Chuckling lowly. "Alright, here is where we have to be careful. They are more spread out and they can come out of no where. Get low.. " After hearing for foot steps, he looked at Hamish. "Do you think we should split up? Maybe its better.. so we both don't get caught." ALTHOUGH he was not a fan of the idea. He came this far, yards away with Hamish. He didn't want to separate but..

Putting a paw on Hamish's head. "I want you to get out. If anything. If ANYTHING happens to me. Don't look back just keep running. Ill catch up. Ok. Promise me." Looking in to his sparkling brother's eyes.
