Armand stood, perched on top of the mermaid figurehead at the front of the ship. They passed directly under the Kannabi Bridge with great speed. "Wheeee~" He'd be saying, most of the time, until he decided to come back and help some of the workers with the sails. The young shinobi would help them draw back the sails a bit to better steer in the narrower river until the large outlet to the sea.

He'd meet with Hashao, who he wondered about on this trip. Maybe he was excited, but not really Armand-level excited. "It should be a fairly short trip, we'll get back around nightfall~" Armand would mention casually, and look at a few of the sailors playing dice games in the hold through a little gap in the planks. It seemed like they were just simply playing Cho-han and betting what little coin they had. "Want to go gamble away some of our ryo in the hold?~" Armand would ask in his sing-songy voice, almost happy to throw money away. "The odds are truly 1:1, so you don't need to worry about it being rigged." He'd mention, as if these 50-50 odds would somehow make it more appealing to Hashao.

It was still a shock to him what he had done, he was going through a shell-shock moment currently trying to figure himself out. The only thing he could be totally sure of was the importance of the mission and trying to figure himself out. "I don't do bets unless I can statistically determine my odds." He said with a smile on his face, looking over at the sailors. The conversation was nice and light; something he could handle at the moment. He looked over at him. "You can go play if you want. I think I'd like to rest a little before we arrive."Hashao winked at Armand, looking around for a place to rest for a few.

Armand would shrug and began to step toward the stairs to the hold. "Suit yourself, I'm going to score me some ryo~" He claimed, and the sailors looked at him like he was a sucker.

Maybe a half hour or so passed of gambling in that little crook. Odd? No, even. Even? No, odd. This continued almost ad infinitum until Armand had just about lost all of his loose pocket change, including the shirt off his back...though on the condition he'd get it back at the end of the voyage. The sailors, who with a strange amount of pride, walked up to the deck and tied the billowy and loose shirt to a rope, stringing it up like a flag, which flew beside the Grass Country emblemed flag. Apparently it was a great laugh to the crew because their CEO had lost their shirt in some fairly easy odds of 50-50.

Armand would walk back up to Hashao after this mishap and shrug. "I might need you to pay for dinner when we get home. I seem to have a gambling problem~" He'd say happily, perfectly content to let the crew have their victory. Armand's chest was a pale, thin mass of skin and bones with a multitude of scars. For a kid who made constant food runs, it looked like he was malnourished. "Oh look, we're in the sea!~" He pointed past the figurehead at the front of the ship as the horizon erupted into an endless blue.

"Halfway to our meet-up point, so we've got some time...and since I've already lost my shirt...~" With a bit of a spin and a backflip over the railing of the side, Armand dived into the ocean, treading water and swimming alongside the ship, keeping pace and not seeming to ever tire. "Man overboard!~" He called out, with some of the crew cheering him on. The captain quickly hushed them and made them get back to work. At least Armand was energizing them all and making the work a little easier on them. He'd call up to Hashao, "You should try it!~"

xxxxx Hashao watched the younger boy gamble away, especially keeping a close eye on the tactics of the sailors and how they switched about their gamble. It was entertaining to watch, and it wasn't as random as he first thought. It had a bit of strategy to it- but it required mostly reading the others expression and profiling to the point you know exactly what they were going to say. Armand seemed to come back happily without a shirt or money. His naked skin had a sort of attraction to him, making him innocent looking in a way. Did they turn me fully homosexual? He wondered as he stared at his bare, scrawny chest. It wasn't has beautiful as Kleine or Asher's but seeing another guy like this made him want to see more of this guy. The only thing getting in the way of Hashao totally taking advantage of Armand was his promise to the both of his lovers.

Armand went to take a dip, so Hashao went to indulge himself with gambling. After winning the first round, he shrugged slightly. "Beginners luck?" They continued to play through a few more games until they finally accused him of cheating. "Me? Cheat? I would never do such a thing." There were no reasons to cheat, especially since it was such a simple game. The truth was, they had a rigged dice that they used against Armand, he noticed when he saw smirks and 'happy disappointed smiles'. There was always one man who got it right, and it seemed to be the one running the business. All Hashao did was scoop out that dice, add in a different one, and guess by doing a math equation. It was simple. They, however, didn't find it that way.

Before they could attempt to beat up the ninja, Hashao heard a change in the wind. It was a simple whistle, but he had heard stories once of pirates carrying whistles to signal other ships to attack. And that's what happened. Three ships seemed to come out of no where and surround the boat. "Armand!" He called out, preparing for a fight.

Armand heard Hashao call out after a while of swimming. He scanned the horizon and wasn't too surprised when boats started to circle into view. They weren't in that safe of waters. Armand would flash a grin as his clan nature started to take over and materialize in his body. His flesh began to discolor, becoming denser and harder, while fleshy thrusters would began to writhe and take form out of his shoulders blades. Wings made of flesh would also grotesquely begin to rip out and form from the flesh of his back and shoulders. The bones in his forearms would sharpen and protrude outward from the discolored skin of his wrist.

As his wings propelled him upward, the thrusters jettisoned him toward the closest ship...blasting him through the hull. His flesh, hard as steel, and his bones being hard as titanium, he was a human cannonball, making several rebounds and launching himself through the hull of the ship multiple times and eventually landing on the deck of the sinking ship.

The shocked pirates, trying to bail water from the hold, didn't know how to counter Armand's sudden appearance. In a brief moment, many of them were impaled or torn apart by Armand's speed and bones, coating him and the sinking ship in red. Armand was, at least, having fun. He figured he'd let Hashao figure out the other ship or two before he was done with this one.

xxxxx Hashao automatically looked over as Armand worked on his boat. Leaving two to him? How thoughtful of the boy. Moving to make quick hand seals, he took the first ship out easily. Large spikes emerged from the water, penetrating the ship all the way through. It was broken in half and many other pieces. Seeing the pirates screaming and panicking around made him chuckle, performing the technique once again. This time the spikes penetrated the swimming bodies of the bandits, turning the ocean around them red. It had been a while since he's seen so much blood, he could feel his blood pumping from excitement. After performing more hand seals, he took his shirt off and dove into the blood water. He wanted to feel the blood around him, to soak it into his skin. It was truly... amazing.

While he was swimming around, his mind was partly paying attention to the other ship. Six spears flew around slaughtering everyone on deck, made of pure light. Looking at them directly would be temporary blindness, which is why Hashao simply let them do their things while he boiled in the others blood. When he joined the Mist, he wasn't able to do it as much as he wanted to. Only during certain missions, but man was this mission a big haul. So many people to die... it was the best. He let out a laugh; something he was only just getting used to. He jumped onto the enemies deck, to find them all dead and the light spears waiting for his next direction. He let out a sigh; most of the victims were still alive. Grabbing but not directly touching it, he went to each individual and slammed the spear into their necks. Blood sprayed all over them. Heaven... it was heaven.

He moved below deck, feeling that the captain should be the last to die. Slamming the door to the office open, he looked at the shocked man and brought the spear to his shoulder. "Where is the treasure?" Hashao asked calmly over the mans screaming. Sure, it was hot enough to burn through flesh, but he had something to do. The man couldn't talk, through his tears he pointed to a chest in the corner of his office. Hashao smiled and thanked the kind man, before cutting off his head in one swell swoop. The chest was small, about the size of his forearm but it was big enough to hold 20,000 ryo. He took the time to count it, and distribute it evenly within two bags. One for him, one for Armand.

He left the ship, going back over to their main one. Hashao was covered in blood, and when he looked over at the surprised sailors he smiled a creepy little smile. "I promise, I wasn't cheating..." With that, he threw the bag of ryo to Armand's feet. "That was fun. You'll pay for your own dinner."

Armand would finish up his work on the other boat, leaving several bodies pinned to the mast with shards of bone and wood...as if they were crucified. He'd send the ship drifting back toward where it came from, giving warning to any other pirates who got any ideas about coming into these waters again.

The young chuunin's transformations would soon revert to normal, and he'd swim back to the boat and climb up on deck. There were several jagged shards of hardwood from the boat he rammed several times stuck inside and through his body. His body would just push them out of his body onto the deck and heal up the wounds very quickly. Armand would pick up the sack of coin and weigh it in his hand before putting it in his pocket, wondering if he could gamble it away again on the same voyage. The sailors nervously returned to work after orders from their captain. Armand would look over his own body, bloody and still patching itself up from his human-cannonball and bone shredding actions, and then look to Hashao, equally blood soaked from his own work.

Armand's face quickly sprung into a wide grin until he was stifling laughter. In a few seconds, he simply burst out chuckling and fell on his back on the deck, which had become slippery with the bloody water they were tracking on. Between fits of laughter, Armand would only say things like, "Didn't I tell you it'd be a fun mission?~" in a happier-than-normal sing song voice that he often had.

One of the braver sailors retrieved his loose shirt from the mast and gave it to Armand. Armand politely thanked him and put it back on. The sailor quickly moved back to working the sails. After a rather long fit of giggling, Armand would pick himself up and go back to the figurehead, perching on it as he had before. "Hey, I think I see our friends~" He'd call to the crew. A ship from the northern regions of the Lightning Country were meeting them at the midway point to trade. Soon, the ships pulled close beside each other and secured themselves to each other with ropes and anchored down.

Several boarding planks were laid down across the ships and several of the sailors removed cargo from the hold to give to the newly arrived ally. Being that they were only carrying gold, Armand and Hashao's ship would now be heading back with crates of rare northern herbs, medicines, and various other oddities. The trading was fairly quick, as nobody wanted to stick around in pirate-infested waters. Even the traders didn't trust each other. In about an hour, the trading was finished and the boats started to re-embark back to their lands. A powerful headwind would push Armand and Hashao's ship, making their trip time be cut in half.

They looked down on them, thinking they were weak the moment they stepped onto the boat. But when they showed their jutsu, and drowned in blood they started to work harder on finishing it faster. If he had just done this to begin with, he would be home with Kleine and Asher. Home... smiling to himself, he performed a few hand seals and there were suddenly three of him. The people were in the middle of loading the boat, so he could get to the mainland faster than they would. Which means he could situate a few things at the same time.. he wondered why he didn't do this in the first place. Smiling, he nodded to his clone, and went off with the other one, making sure Armand didn't notice what was going on. "Armand, guess what?" The clone walked up to him, and told him a joke about sailors. It was quick, not really funny, but gave the others time to jump off the side of the boat and carry themselves away. One was going to the Leaf Village, the other to the Mist. To try to get a promotion, and to try to find Kleine. Of course he would have to be very diligent to make sure Adam or Kirumi didn't see. The lightness of his voice wore off once they started again, he stared out towards the horizon.

xxxxx The warrior known for his light, stared darkly across the water. The sun was going down, the mission had taken the peak of the day to finish- they weren't even to their homeland yet. Exhaling, he realized how much he hated the water. Sure, he manipulated it and used it to his advantage, but it was completely unorthodox. He couldn't escape at this point. He couldn't tread water or use jutsu when he's already thinned it so much. He was tired, exhausted from so much work. Sliding to his knees, the clone decided to take a nap.

When he dreamed, he dreamed of Adam and Kirumi. When they were young, he still had the blood lust. His first kill was his parents, his second would have been them if he got what he wanted. He loved them so much, that he wanted to bath in their blood. In this dream, he actually was. They were dead, surrounding him with their wrists cut and their eyes glossy. Tilting his head back, he started to laugh. This dream... was amazing.

The young shinobi picked himself up from the deck and got to work, asking Hashao what he wanted to say. After no response, he noticed his coworker had gone to sleep. Figures. Armand guessed that he'd be riding this one solo from here.

However, it was going to be an easy trip back, they were docking at an obscure river outlet as they re-approached the mainland. Instead of going to the lake, they'd be closer to the village. As the headwinds pushed them quickly to the shore, Armand assisted with the roping of the ship to the dock. The sailors were grateful for the help, if still a little taken aback.

The gangplank was dropped, and the supplies were finally placed onto carts and caravans, which Armand and Hashao were responsible for getting to the Kusa gates. Thankfully, if you wore a Grass headband, thieves were sure to stay away on the road. Kusa was earning a reputation as a bunch of crazy psychopaths. "Hashao, wake up~" Armand would call out and start to put some cargo on his back. "Last leg of the trip, just gotta get back to the gates, alright?~" With that, he let the others helping the caravan follow him to the main road.

Adam. Joukai. Licht. Hashao. Joukai. Licht. The family tree was confusing, yes, but Hashao had a different father than the younger two. He was born 10 years before, and by the time they were born he was a chuunin. Being stuck a chuunin for about 15 years didn't phase him at all since there were certain circumstances that was put into place because this. He was disappointed when he heard that his parents were giving birth to twins, so he waited. When they introduced him to the babies, he killed them on the spot and acted like it was another enemy shinobi. The problem with that, was someone knew. They knew what he did, and when he spent the next 13 years working on them; raising them himself in a bad shack with low pay. He yearned for their bodies and mind, making him the psycho brother but.. he knew secretly in his mind that they wanted him too. He knows they still do. When he finds them again, they'll be relieved. They'll welcome him into their bare arms and... Hashao was awoken by Armand, and did an adorable little yawn with his glassy eyes barely pried open. "Hmm? Oh yeah, yeah..." He followed the shinobi off the boat and towards the gate.
