Sorry it took so long i was swamped with work.
The young avian had found himself, as he often did, flying around the rogue lands surrounding the boarder of the pride. Outside the heart of the pride it was quiet except for the sounds of crickets as night approached. He needed a night away, even if only for a little while. Thei'ng was born mute and on top of that he had new found powers that the goddess gifted him with. He was a seer but he had no idea how to explain to anyone what was going on with what he saw. It was like a game of charades every time he had a vision. He began to wonder if it was worth it to even try to explain what was happening.
It was with a soft sigh he found himself in a small clearing, and made himself comfortable atop the lowest branch of a tree. He found it much nicer to travel as the sun went down. One it was the way his pride they were nocturnal, so he often was awake at night. Two traveling at night was much cooler, the sun often radiated heat as it beamed down on him and his black feathers.
He was so lost in thought he hadn’t even noticed the sky begin to fill with clouds. He felt one of the first of many droplets of water hit him lightly against his feathers. A storm had rolled him. Oh dang it! Stupid me! How could I be so careless! he thought to himself.
He took off as fast as he could fly but it was to no avail, soon after he he flew he felt the rain clash against him slowly soaking into his feathers. He began to sink lower to the ground as his wings grew heavy; until he could no longer carry himself and he plopped onto the ground. All he could do was sit there for a moment wondering when the rain would clear and if there was somewhere he could hide until it passed.
With a heavy sigh he began to walk in the rain. He couldn’t help but smile at himself. How funny and bird who has to walk.
