Forest Beasts are created from the fear of creepy forests and what lies within. They generally have an animal shape, but the biological characteristics of the plant-life they're made up of. Forest Beasts do not need to eat, they are capable of photosynthesis, but do require water. In the event that they do eat they use digestive fluids in the back of their mouths, similar to carnivorous plants, to dissolve it and absorb nutrients.
Natural Ability: Small-scale regeneration. Drona can always regrow leaves, it's easy and thoughtless. She can also regenerate small pieces of herself, like her fingers/toes (or in her natural form small branches), but she cannot regenerate whole limbs. Regeneration can take days or weeks.
Personality: Drona is first and foremost independent. With just her and her Jaja (her parent) in the house, she had to do a lot of things for herself, whether it be cooking, cleaning, or fixing things. She's particularly adept at sitting down and looking at a problem for a moment and then figuring out how to solve it, and is reluctant to ask others for help.
However, she's also a bit selfish. She hasn't had to share her life with siblings or many other family members, so she's not particularly inclined to give up her time, effort, or possessions for others. What's hers is hers and she won't give it up without an incentive. She also thinks that if you need something done, you should do it yourself and not demand it of others, and she's not particularly sympathetic to people who don't know or just won't do that.
Despite not actively needing to eat, Drona is kind of a glutton. She loves eating and trying new things and snacking. Offering food is a surefire way to get her to be social.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy?
Drona hasn't had a whole lot of formal education. A lot of what she's learned has been from home schooling from her Jaja, and Jaja is convinced that isn't enough for her to get through the rest of her life. So Drona agreed to attend Amity to get the more intensive education she needs.
FEAR Ability: Tainted Fang - Drona's species doesn't need to eat, but they can. Like a venus fly trap Drona has a digestive like fluid in her saliva that allows her to break down that food into usable nutrients. She channels her fear into this fluid to enhance that process and drools it onto her opponent to deal corrosive damage over a period of time.
Physical Description:
Eye Colour: Black sclera, light yellow iris.
Hair Colour/Style: Dark brown hair, super short except for her long bangs which fall to her collarbone and end in a green ombre.
Skin Colour: Dark skin with a tree grain texture.
Clothing Style/Colours: Crop tops and shorts with stirrup leggings. She wears a lot of beaded and wooden jewelry, pieces that are big and eye-catching.
Extra: So many tree things. First off, her arms end in a darker, thicker bark with clawed fingers. She has digitigrade feet that also end in clawed toes. A long thin tail that ends in a fan of large leaves. Three leaves on either side of her head where her ears would be, and a couple little leaves fanning from her ankles.
