Par missed her old home, in her old home she was doted on cared for. She not only had a large family that watched out for each other but she was beautiful and all the Pad's wanted her in their harem, she was a desired commodity and she wished that she had chosen a pad, had a family before it all fell apart around her. Now she was by herself in the wild. She had separated from her family when the pride fell apart, she thought she'd be able to find a male someone to care for her and a place to live easier if she was on her own.... boy had she been wrong.

Par had found a lake in her wondering and it was there now that she lay bathing in the sun in all her glory.

Padding along slowly, Ilari kept his nose in the air and his eyes on alert in search of possible prey. He was away from his pride on a hunt, and while he probably should have asked for some assistance, he had decided to do this one solo. It wasn't that he didn't have the capabilities, but with multiple hunters in his pride, they could have taken home more food if he had only asked.

But, there was no changing the past. Ilari would just have to find some extraordinary prey and lug it all the way home. The only problem was that he hadn't yet come across any herds; he did, however, pick up the scent of water nearby, which could only mean the possibility of a herd lounging around the edges.

He quickened his pace, treading light enough to not be noticed in case he had to come to a quick stop. His pale body blended in well enough, but his bright mane could sometimes be a bit of a sore thumb, so he was always careful to try and hide his movements. As he came upon the lake, he slowed, lowering himself in the grass. His orange eyes scanned up and down the shoreline, but he sadly saw no herds and no prey of any value. He did see the body of what looked to be a lioness - maybe she scared any herds away. Well, he hoped that this lack of prey was someone else's fault and not his own.

Moving in closer, Ilari had abandoned all modes of stealth, deciding that a quick break might help him regain his pride and tracking skills. "I sure hope that you're not the reason there aren't any herds around." He called out to the female, cocking a smile as he neared.

Par lifted her head and saw the pink lion standing before her. She wasn't sure she liked being blamed for the lack of any prey heards in the area. "No one was here when I got here." she answered simply. She thought aboutit a little and decided she should sit up and make friends. Hadn't she just been thinking about how lonely she was.

"My name is Parvati" she told the lion. "Sorry about your missing prey, are you from around here." Parvati was an awkward lioness she had always counted on her looks to get her through things, and social interaction wasn't exactly her strong suit, unless the other individual was telling her that she was beautiful.
