Umeko was walking about the pridelands, she was close to the prides borders thinking about her father once again. Al Hattal God of Rogues she thought to herself, he was certainly important and you would think she as her daughter would be too but in truth she was only one of countless children of all different species.

Umeko shook her this thinking was no good, she couldn't think like this she had to be strong. Here at home she was important she was a viking and she was as strong as anyone else and she would prove that to anyone whoever doubted her, including herself.

Karma had a funny way of playing against the bright blue lion, though he wasn't aware of it yet, awaiting at the border where he was set to wander was a ticking time bomb.

...Jitos daughter...

"The wind is moving well, perhaps a trip is in our future." Bjorn spoke to no one in particular, in fact he found himself alone and was quick to quiet himself. Should he be found discussing things out loud bad things could be assumed. This resulted in a quiet stroll. The quiet was certainly not meant to last as he crossed paths with a thick layer of forestry that lessened to reveal a lioness wandering about.

"You there!"

Bjorns voice carried well, it was deep, loud and laid out an opportunity to be deadly should he ever choose to go a more deadly route. For now he settled with yelling out to those a distance away. "What are you doing at our borders?" He stated plainly as he approached the female.

Umeko froze immediately, she was quickly looking around for the voice that had called out to her but the rocks caused a strange echoing effect and she wasn't actually all that sure where it had come from. She was a little uneasy around males, which came from not having a father around when she was young, and the voice had sounded tough and strong. She puffed out her chest a little to look a little tougher, her mother was a tough female and Umeko knew that she too could be tough.

Finally her eyes settled on a brilliantly colored blue male, she was pretty sure she had seen him when she was younger, but had not seen him recently, the prides numbers were growing everyday with cubs and new thrawls being brought in, sometimes it could be hard to keep track of exactly who was who. Using the strongest voice she could she turned towards him and kept her voice as stern as possible, "I'm walking." she didn't feel like she owed him any more of an explanation.

Walking?

The word echoed in Bjorns head as a rumbling thought, the lioness he found was a stubborn one, it reminded him awfully of an encounter he recently had with a rather grumpy lioness whom had...

"Umeko?" He bellowed, eyes reacting the same way as his voice. Hope clouded his mind briefly as he tried to recall the lioness as a cub. His time with Jito was short and aggressive and every other time he had seen her was from a distance at events and more. It had been a good long while since he had heard about the litter she had had, but his memory was beginning to serve him well.

After a small gap of silence the large blue male made his way towards the female, he cared little for her attitude as she was just a Freeborn, but let it slide for the time being. "Just why are you walking near here? You ought to be closer to the pride itself." He stated this in a plain way. Boredom reflected in his voice, it was clear he had hoped for someone new, perhaps a fight? But no, instead he was greeted with a grumpy lioness.

Umeko sighed "Damn" she thought to herself she should have known that a Reaver would talk down to her. She contemplated what she should do next, should she just turn and walk away without giving him the satisfaction of an answer or should she tell him the truth that she was having a crisis of conscience and was busy thinking about her father who was out there somewhere a god and she was far to unimportant for him to be concerned about.

She sighed trying to remember the blue lions name, finally it came to her mind, "Bjorn, I was... I was, walking and thinking... thinking about my father." she held her breath for a moment this pride wasn't a place one was to show their week side and she had just exposed her jugular to him.

"If you think to much you may hurt something."

His response to her outward and dangerous statement was unsympathetic, but certainly not the typical Reaver way of putting something into perspective. The statement from Umeko was not disregarded, but just not continued with. "You ought to stop focusing on something as silly as a lost parent. You have the pride, does your greed exceed you?" The blue lion stared at her, his blue eyes finding her pink orbs. Though he wouldn't bring it up he to had not had parents, neither of them, growing up. This had not ceased his goals.

Umeko stared hard at the male lion, making sure that no shock came across her face, "Well for a Reaver such as yourself I would understand that you would think that I am sure all you know how to do is fight and use brute force, there is no brain rattling around in the big thick skull of yours." she gave him a hard look.

Umeko may have a soft side to her when she was thinking about her father, but when backed into a corner her tongue could be as harsh as anyone else's claws. There was a small chance that he would respect her more now that she had shown a strong side she didn't care that much though at this point she wasn't into making friends. Though she should make more friend's she didn't have any in the pride yet.

A brow raised in question than dropped at her statement. It was certainly a typical argument that Reavers possessed nothing beyond the muscle in their body, but this was a myth created by gossiping women-folk. Some had more wit than others, this was true, but it varied from lion to lion as it did in the Roguelands. "I take offense to your statement." His tone was equally as harsh and deepened as he became slightly angered. Sure, her display was rather courageous, verbally attacking a Reaver, but Bjorn already had a predetermined idea of what she would be like.

"You and your Mother are very much alike..." He snarled and shook his head. "Both are you are to outspoken for your own good. One day you'll come across a Reaver who thinks you worth his time to crush!" His voice boomed and one would almost say he was concerned for her well-being with the way he suggested to avoid speech in turn for ones life, but Bjorn was simply stating a fact.

Umeko narrowed her eyes at him, she had meant for her words to be offensive and therefore she was happy that she had offended him. She however did not like being compared to her mother, not that her mother was a bad lioness more just that Umeko was her own lioness and didn't want to be compared to others which was something that was impossible in this pride where others were constantly compared against each other and sizing each other up.

"My mother is a great lioness, but I am nothing like her." she said finally. She knew that he mother had a mean streak in her at times, but Umeko wasn't like that she would only go as far as necessary to keep herself safe, not further.

"Besides you were the one who was offensive first I was merely pointing out that fact." she gave Bjorn one more stern look and decided that this wasn't worth her time. She turned and prepared to leave, turning once before she left just to say, "I could be a good, friend and someone to have around you know, you need to give others more of a chance."

With that the purple lioness turned and left.

Bjorn was slightly taken aback by her way of approaching the conversation that compared her to her Mother. Had he had the chance to be compared to a Father he would have taken it, but of course his comparison was negative and everyone knows how females are. So he rolled his eyes and huffed.

Once done her speech and had turned tail he watched her go. The Reaver had a numbered amount of friends, some close and some not. Unfortunately the numbers were lowering than some, but he had never considered that to be an overly bad situation, however, in this exact moment he left it as it was and decided it was his time to take leave.

"Crazy girls."

The big blue male muttered as he began wandering away.
