- born an army brat - raised on various bases - every male in family joins army - marries his HS sweetheart, has two kids - joins army - starts seeing shadows and s**t, deserts active duty - is eventually caught - court-martialed, sentenced to six months confinement, loss of pay, bad conduct discharge - gets out of prison and life is pretty much in shambles - divorces while in prison, given visitation rights but rarely gets to see his kids - Accepts offer for Deus Ex because he wants to redeem himself and protect his kids, even if he never gets to see them again
Physical Description: Eye Colour: Dark brown, like the color of melted chocolate. Hair Colour/Style: Short and tidy in the back while the front is worn longer, an array of messy curls that sweep across the forehead, the color of cornsilk. His brows are several shades darker than his hair, closer to brown than anything else. Skin Colour: Olive-tan, the sort that freckles all too easily in the sun. Clothing Style/Colours: Warden isn’t a particularly snazzy dresser. He prefers to keep things simple: jeans, fitted t-shirt or button up, decent pair of boots. He prefers warm colors, particularly creamy tones, and is careful to make sure his appearance is always polished and neat. ward's history notes: - from savannah, GA - eldest of three brothers: james richard white the III (aka trey) and walker birch white. - father: james richard white the ii (aka jimmy), an incredibly successful business magnate who built his company from nothing. - mother: lily allison white, a southern debutante socialite who realizes the irony of her name being "lily white" -- far from doting, but she loves her family. - shuffled off to boarding school in NYC at age ten, where he promptly underperforms to the best of his abilities. fails more classes than anything else, but is essentially given a free pass due to his father's ample contributions to the school. - graduates (barely) and chooses to stay in NYC, snagging himself a swanky apt on the upper east side and commencing party mode. - family is UBER conservative/christian, loose morals aint allowed among these folks - father is also a firm believer in pulling yourself up by your bootstraps (after all, he started a company from nothing and is now a mega billionaire) and he resents the fact that ward figures he can just live off his parent's money and not do anything
