[PRP] Charms and Scarfs and...(Anna/Ali/Mei)

Anna took a moment to sit outside in the courtyard and spread her collection of charms out on the table. Since she had barely gotten to the school not even a day ago, she was running low on all the protection charms to keep the school satisfactorily safe. She thought of enlisting students.

Instead she tilted her chin up to the pumpkin sky and started to daze off, thinking of nothing and everything. The charms a mere thought passing. To some it would seem unnerving and to others a little weird.

Yes, that's because she was.

Things were starting to quiet down a bit now. The festival was over and student council booths as well, now they were all just waiting for voting to begin.

But the wave of new students had always drawn Meixiang out of her room. Watching all the little spookies as they milled their way through campus and pointing a few creeple to the correct dorms when they were lost. It was what she had to do, no, she must do. As a year three working towards graduating it was her duty to help out all the noobie boobies.

She had been making her way through the courtyard when the sight of a small ghoul staring up at the sky caught her attention. A quick glance at the table in front of the ghoul made her even more curious. Without saying a word she made her way over, standing there for a second. She too then looked up at the sky. "See anything interesting?"

"First aid kit first aid kit first aaaaaaaaaid kit!! First aid kit first aid kit first aid kiiiiiiiiit!!" Ali hummed happily as she skipped along and swung said box by the handle on the way from the site of the carnival booths as she was in the process of tidying her own booth up. Suddenly she hopped forward and landed with both feet shoulder width apart in a fairly quick rebound back into upright posture, her arms joining her antics as they rose by her sides by a notable number of degrees and her bangbourine armed other hand shook.

New spontaneous thoughts struck her and her arms dropped a bit and slowly descended to rest at her sides as she pondered aloud, "Oh!! I wonder if there's a performing arts club on campus.. Well, making one is also an option and sounds really spooktacular!! Where to go to make one?!" Ali had begun to clap the bangbourine while in thought against her side and upon breaking out of the trance of her rambling thoughts, she shook the bangbourine again as she twisted in place right to left from side to side followed by two semi-circular twirls where she stood in looking around her as though doing so with as much enthusiasm as she did was the most effective method that would allow her to spot the location in question at once.

Her beaming smile grew wider when another interesting sight caught her attention!! "Hello!!" Ali immediately approached the two ghouls, one with charms out on a table before her and the other standing next to the table who she recalled as a host of booths at the carnival as well, with a cheerful greeting and bangbourining waves. And still all smiles, Ali stopped at the spot both ghouls were by the table too and her field of vision also joined them in staring at the same direction at the sky.

Anna was silent just a bit longer before point up to something...only she could see in the sky.

"I was enjoying the flight patterns of the Migatory Fabookins. They are quite majestic creatures with faces as covers of books and flap their wings like you would a book." It was hard to explain unless you saw them.

She turned her gaze to the older student and another one that had joined, giving them a brief dazed faint smile.

"Good afternoon." She started to pull the charms near her. "My name is Anna." She waited expectantly for introductions.

"Ohhh I see. They sound interesting." She didn't see anything, but you honestly never really knew what things other students could see that you yourself couldn't. Some of them just had those kinds of powers. Though sometimes she wished she could be so imaginative.

Her attention was quickly drawn to the other ghoul who had joined them in Fabookin watching. Though it was hard not to hear her coming with all the noise she made, not that it bothered the Jiang Shi. Everyone had their own little quirks and it was nice to have company anyway.

Smiling at the two ghouls, she placed her hands behind her back though it was hard to see them what for her long sleeves. Meixiang rocked on her heels for a second before finally deciding to slip into the seat on the other side of the table across from Anna. "My name is Meixiang, but you can call me Mei for short." She realized her full name wasn't necessarily easy for a lot of people to pronounce, so the ghoul offered a shorter version. Much easier.

The vampire placed the bangbourine on the table and then Ali's gaze followed the direction the ghoul specified by pointing and also underwent a double take before scanning the sky searchingly. "Fabookins Fabookins Faboooooooookins," she repeated the tune again cheerfully. Then grew silent as she tapped her index finger on her now pouting lips in focus. Alas she was unable to identify a Fabookin and reckoned they may be dodging her view being that they were unfamiliar with her and perhaps shielding their forms behind clouds or something or other.

Ali breathed in a large breath energetically as she halted her visual hunt and looked to the two ghouls again with the widening return of her smile. "It's terrific to meet you, Anna, Mei!!" the ghoul said in turn as she placed the first aid kit on the table next while continually looking to make eye contact with her companions. "I'm Alpinely and a nickname of mine is Ali!!" Remembering the contents of the box she is in the process of carrying, Ali opened it and offered each of the ghouls half a dozen bags of chocolate hard candies which she procured from inside it. "Please have some of these bags of chocolate candies!! I was handing them out at my booth!!" By now Ali's smile was practically stuck on her features with how happy she was to be exchanging introductions and interacting with fellow students in this memorable occasion.

The fact that they had been watching was enough approval for Anna to hand out charms to them, and was on the verge of gifting them when in return, she was treated to Ali's candy.

The behemoth ghoul practically sparkled at the food, and immediately opened it to eat. Fantastic.

"It is nice to meet you Mei." And then she turned to Ali, "And it is nice to meet you Ali. Thank you for the food." She bowed her head, and munched as she stared at the two.

For a full minute she didn't say a word and kind of just ate. When she finished, she set the back down, wiped off any loose chocolate or crumbs.

"Would you guys like some charms to keep you safe from the blakens?"

Ahhh she felt bad. Mei didn't really have anything to give in return for the candies or the charms. Well that was ok. She wasn't expected to carry around little trinkets for everyone. Plus she had just spent quite a bit of time on goodies for her booth soooooo....

The ghoul shoved a few candies in her mouth. "Blwakns?" She said, having yet to swallow the candies in her mouth. "Sthur." Ah now she was being rude, talking with food in her mouth. That was no way for her to act. She swallowed the candy as quickly as she could without it getting lodged in her throat. Now that would have been embarrassing.

She fidgeted a bit in her seat. "Oh I know!" Reaching into one of her long sleeves, she pulled out two pins. Her student pins to be precise. Meixiang always had a few on her for certain occasions. "In return for your candies and protection charm these are for you." She placed a pin in front of each of the other ghouls. "Its nothing special but its used to be a somewhat common practice to exchange pins with friends."
