I'm Feeling Really I'm already pumped and ready to get down! Here I am! I'm at Neon Lights in Downtown Soleil What am I wearing you ask? Well I'm wearingClothes that are good for this sort of thing

Walking through the streets of Downtown Soleil, the brunette continued moving. Knowing exactly where she wanted to go. Not to get wasted, but to party. She wanted to dance all night and go home late. Shayna turned gold brown eyes on Neon Lights, one of her favorite clubs, and smiled. She could already feel the beat pumping through her veins. Her twin never came here... So she knew that she would have some fun without her. Like always. It was almost like she had found the perfect excuse to leave the boring house in Pasadena, ignore her boring twin, and have fun all at the same time. Chuckling at the thought, she happily strode in. She took off her jacket, since it wasn't going to be needed and placed it in the same spot as always. Behind the cubby holes for your jackets. Behind, because no one would think to look behind. That and if they did, they would only find the jacket. She never carried anything with her when she came to Neon Lights.
She could feel the beat already making her pulse quicken, and the stench of sweat and embarrassment had her excited to get to the dance floor. Oh how she relished in this environment. If she wasn't out in the woods or something, she was dancing her butt off here. She stepped towards the dance floor but took a step towards the bar for a quick water, just to get hydrated.

Toya sighed, after dropping off the groceries at home, he decided he probably needed to fed, so what better place than the club in town? I would probably be easy to get a few kisses, and flirting wouldn't be that hard considering he was an incubus. He didn't like doing things like this, but at this rate he might pass out. It had been days since he last fed on the intimate desires of others. He was cutting it pretty close this time around. He waited in line for awhile, like always. Once the wait was over, he walked in, and looked around. There was a lot of people here, to his surprise, but this would work out well for him. He moved through the crowd, already attracting a girl to his side. He smiled and charmed her and made his way into a more secluded corner. After flirting with her for a while, he kissed her, feeding off her desire. It was disgusting, this type of thing, but it was how he was going to survive. He kissed her about three times before pulling away "your friends will be wondering where you are right? Better get back before I can't hold myself back" he cooed to her. Of course he was lying, but he couldn't just bluntly tell her to get lost after kissing him. She giggled, stating she didn't mind going all the way with him, but she left as her friends came towards them. He sighed, a bit relieved, he didn't want to get to intimate with anyone tonight, he only needed enough life energy to sustain normal functions after all. He wiped his lips off, the rotting smell of alcohol left on his lips by the female. That was kind of a gross kiss just then.
He made his way towards the bar, sitting there and resting for a few minutes. His odd colored hair attracted even more attention to him than wanted. In the end though it would benefit him. His eyes scanned the dance floor and he noticed a women with dark brown hair dancing to the beat. She wasn't bad looking, but he could tell she wasn't intoxicated enough to actually hit on. He only targeted females who were so drunk, that if they had a small make-out session they wouldn't remember it at all in the morning. It was less troublesome this way. His eyes lingered on her for a moment, but he quickly lost interest seeing as he didn't want to get involved with anyone if he could help it. So he turned back towards the bartender, minding his own business. It was then the girl came over to the bar, sitting a few seats away from him. It seemed she was getting water to stay hydrated. He turned his head the opposite direction, not really wanting to interact with anyone other than potential targets for his feeding.

Shayna downed the water, happy to have an excuse to sit for just a moment. She hated how some guys looked at women. In this sort of place? Oh it was dangerous. This sort of place really got girls in trouble. And guys too. It wasn't just females. And Shayna was one of those who liked to party, without drinking. She felt eyes on her when she had been on the floor... But hadn't noticed who was looking at her. Then when she was sitting at the bar, she looked over to notice the red head looking away from her rather pointedly. She rolled her eyes at this, maybe he was looking for a certain person, or didn't want to talk. Either way suited her. She wasn't really looking for someone to talk too. But he irked her. Why?
She made sure all her water was gone before standing again. Already feeling the allure of the music. She turned to the male. She was sure he was the one who had looked at her. "You know, if you are going to stare at someone you should probably just take a picture. It lasts longer." She said casually before stretching. Yesterday had been killer at work. A thirty year old was trying to learn how to skate and dangit... Every time he went down, so did she...

Toya kind of wanted to leave to be honest, he didn't really like places like these since it usually meant he'd be confronted by girls due to his unwanted ability. He tried his best to tone it down, but he couldn't help what he was after all. He sighed, rather bored, but was surprised to hear a voice behind him. He turned to see the girl from earlier, and she seemed to make a smart-a** remark. He didn't like her at all at the moment, it was people like this that really pissed Toya off. However, even though he wanted to give her a smart-a** remark back, his outer self won the internal battle. He put his hands up in defense "no need to get sassy about it, besides your in a club. What did you expect? Everyone looks at everyone, it's not something that's odd in a place like this" he said. He took a drink of his water, god we just wanted her to leave him alone, but of course his outer self wouldn't have that, he needed to be happy and jolly for everyone. He ran a hand through his hair "I didn't mean to offend you or anything, I just thought you danced pretty well was all... besides I'm not so creepy as to take a picture so I can look back at it later, that's a bit much" he said softly smiling at her. He finished up his juice, and stretched as well "besides I can't dance so I like watching how others dance, makes up for my dancing weakness so to speak" he added.

Shayna pushed away the thought that he was cute. But he also seemed rather... bored and not wanting to be bothered... Although he smiled and joked. She raised an eyebrow... What was going on? She tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear thoughtfully. "Sorry, it's my normal reaction to those who stare." She said apologetically. She said as she watched him finish his drink. "So you go to a club to watch people? That's... interesting I suppose. Maybe you should just get on the dance floor and try to match how others dance." She said with a shrug. She put her left thumb in the belt loop on her shorts, and stood to one side, leaning into her right.
The brunette watched him for a moment more. She didn't exactly trust his happy attitude. But... He just seemed so convincing. Maybe she was reading into it too much. Oh well. "I could always help teach you or something." She offered. Although she was off work today and didn't particularly want to help anyone learn anything. She could be nice at some point.

Toya studied her, she seemed to be thinking about something, he didn't know what though. Not that he cared much, she could do what she wanted to do after all. When she apologized he smiled softly "eh, it happens, no big deal really" he said. At least she apologized to him, it made him feel a little less annoyed on the inside. He thought about her question "you could say that, I'm a people watcher... plus watching drunk people dance is hilarious if I do say so myself" he chirped. When she said he should get on the dance floor all his red lights went up "uh... that's not a good idea, trust me... me plus the dance floor equals disaster" he said. It wasn't a lie, but it was because of other reasons other than his bad dancing. He literally would attract girls to him like a magnet, his charm was strong like that. Especially when alcohol adds to the fire. He shook at the thought before looking back up at her. It was then that she offered to teach him and help him, and he laughed softly "sorry, it's just I'm not someone you can teach to dance... trust me I've tried to learn many times" he said. He felt bad lying to her, he was actually an excellent dancer. He had to be because of his singing career. He rubbed the back of his head "I can watch you though, maybe I can learn by watching?" he offered.

Shayna nodded. "Two left feet?" She asked curiously. When he commented about drunk people were hilarious to watch she had to agree. She chuckled at this statement. "Okay, maybe. You got me there. They are pretty hilarious." She said sitting back down. She stiffled a yawn, and listened as he explained not being able to learn. Oh well. She shrugged. "Okay... Well... That sucks. Dancing is so much fun though." She said. When he offered to just watch and try to learn that way she shrugged again. She stood and headed towards the dance floor. She turned just outside of the crowd of swaying and sweaty bodies.
"I'm Shayna by the way." She said introducing herself, before she stepped over the threshold of the dancing and the partying and the pulsing lights. Adrenaline already pumping, she lost herself to the music again. She did remember she was showing how to dance and would smile towards the bar. But otherwise she just... Lost herself.

╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════☯╗ The music was playing, the people were swaying. The drinks were going and the dancers were showing. The heart tattooed man grinned devilishly as he patted the bouncer's shoulder. He'd only been here for a few weeks but was slowly becoming well known for his odd personality. The man named Yushiro Yoemon, better known as Shiro, made his way into the club and weaved through the crowd. He noticed a few familiar faces that he'd spoken to over the past few days but he still didn't know them too well. Shiro was trying to make his way to the bar before being stopped by a few drunk girls he'd met a few nights before, apparently they came almost every night according to his observation.
"Hey Shiro-Kun~ Come and dance with us...." One of the obviously intoxicated girls said to him. She leaned all over him which made him raise an eyebrow. How would he handle this situation. Shiro took a breath before giving the girl a soft smile and pushing her off gently. I'd love to dance...But maybe you should go home and get some rest...Pretty girls like you shouldn't risk injuring themselves. He said before leaving the now blushing girl. It seemed he might have over-done it but he was still getting use to the cities customs.
Shiro finally made his way over to the bar, sitting down and noticing there was only a male bartender there. He frowned slightly before sighing and leaning his head back. Well I might as well buy a drink. He said, ordering a drink from the bartender. Oi, I'll take a White Russian... He said lazily before the drink was slid over to him. Shiro caught the beverage and began to sip on it as he watched the crowds dance and the DJ play his music. He wondered what he should do while he waited. ╚☯═══════════════════════════════════════════════╝
In the back of the Neon Lights parking lot, Clara flipped down the car's visor and checked her face quickly in the mirror. Hair tidy, no smeared makeup? Good. She hadn't been at this new job for too long, and wanted to make sure she kept up a good impression. It was a hassle - the tight clothes, high heels, and overdone makeup - but a necessary one. She was a bartender, after all, at a pretty wild club. People expected a certain look. Stepping out of her vehicle, Clara closed the door with a squeak and turned the key in the lock before putting it into her purse. With a quick straightening of her shirt and dusting of her skirt, she walked into her place of employment, ready to begin.
Upon entering, the music that could be heard from outside became deafening. Maybe she was just growing old, but on the other hand, loud, pulsing music had never really been up Clara's alley. In the small employee's room, she locked up her purse and slid the key into the pocket of her skirt before heading out to the bar. There were several people at the counter, despite the time of day, and plenty of people out dancing - though less than there would be that night. While Clara was new, she did recognize a few faces. One in particular seemed familiar, and she watched him for a moment as she checked to make sure everything was in place. Ah! "Hey Shiro," she said, voice friendly as she moved closer to his side of the bar. He'd been in several times over the last little while, and also lived quite close to her and Val.

╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════☯╗ The male was caught up in the music, listening as the crowd roared in excitement every time the DJ made an announcement. He smiled lightly before taking a sip of his beverage. It was a bit bitter-sweet but he didn't mind. Shiro was so caught up in the moment that he failed to notice the female walk up on him. It wasn't to often he was "snuck up on" so Shiro was caught off guard. He turned his head back calmly though, not feeling anything when he was surprised. "Oh? Clara, Hey I was wondering where you were...Running around town?" He stated with a sly tone, although he didn't imply what he meant by that. Shiro grinned at the female before taking another sip of his drink. He turned his head back at the crowd as they seemed to do a poorly coordinated wave. What made this hotspot so fun in the first place? He wasn't sure but maybe that was why he came here so often. "Hmm...Maybe I should get a job here...What do you think? Wanna see this pretty face around more often?" He teased, giving the girl a toothy smile.
He wasn't sure if they were hiring but that was something he would worry about later. Shiro was about to take another sip of his drink before realizing that his cup was empty. He frowned slightly before sitting down on a bar stool and spinning around on the bar stool like a child. What was with these chairs anyways? No wheels like the other spinning chairs he found but it still spun. Every day he was learning new things, yet he couldn't "Share" them because everyone else knew about them like it was common sense. "Can I get a refill Clara?" He asked, rotating the cup with his wrist. Oddly enough Shiro couldn't get drunk, at least he couldn't get drunk as far as he could tell based off how much he tried drinking. Maybe if he tried drinking a gallon or two of alcohol. Shiro looked a bit foolish, randomly making odd facial expressions as he thought about it. ╚☯═══════════════════════════════════════════════╝
The patron she'd addressed took his time in turning to face her, and she smiled back, confused by the tone of his question. Huh? Her eyebrows furrowed and she turned her head a little to the side as she looked at him, trying to figure it out, to no avail. "Uh, yeah," she answered, attempting to replace the confused look with her friendly one again. "I was just dropping off some groceries at home right before work." Still unsure if there had been some kind of hidden meaning behind the query, Clara felt the need to explain herself.
And then came the flirtatious comment. It took all of her effort not to sigh or rub her forehead, keeping the smile plastered on her face instead. "Oooh, I don't know if I could handle it. Gotta keep my attention focused on the customers, after all," she said with a wink. It didn't matter that she was ten years older than a good number of their patrons - the kids decided to flirt with her anyways. She couldn't imagine what they were thinking. But as a bartender, it was her job to please them, to get good tips and keep them coming back. And that meant flirting back. Clara ducked under the counter to grab a bar mop, allowing her face to droop for a moment before returning to the top, wiping down the surface before her. "We're about to have an opening, actually. It's Jake's last day," she answered in a more serious tone, gesturing to the man who had served him initially. "You could talk to the manager, see what he thinks of you." He asked for a refill, and she smiled again. "You got it!" she answered as she turned to make another drink, stopping by her co-worker to find out what he'd ordered.
On her way back, she resumed the conversation, saying, "It's not an easy job though, bartending." She slid the glass down the bar to him, using her power to pull on the liquid just as it reached him, stopping it in place. "You got what it takes?" Her tone and facial expression were teasing, but she did mean it. She'd had years and years of practice doing this all over the place. It had been crazy difficult when she'd started, but she'd needed the money, so she kept at it. Now, mixing the drinks came without thought, but it had taken a lot of practice. He would probably be great at interactions with customers though, all flirt and charm as he was. If he got the job, she'd just have to see, she supposed.

╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════☯╗ Shiro listened as the woman explained herself, saying that she was dropping off groceries before heading over here. The male rest his chin in his palm, listening intently as she talked. He smiled lightly as she played along with his flirting, although he could tell she was lying. Having a poor set of actual emotions himself, Shiro was very good at telling when people were being honest with their emotions. He decided not to bring the matter to light for now, he figured it was part of the job, keeping the customer happy and all. "Oh really? An opening? Well then I'll have to get on that as soon as I can...Not to fun being poor." He said, looking over at the man Clara was referencing. So it was his last day? He did seem like he'd been in the business for quite a while and probably needed to find a new place of work. Shiro smiled softly when he noticed how diligently the girl worked when it came to doing her job. She obviously was working to get out of this place. But compared to the other odd jobs Shiro had picked up this was like heaven on a silver platter. Do I have what it takes? Well lets just say I'm a bit above average when compared to the average male... He said, realizing the sentence sounded a bit robotic and formal.
He still wasn't sure how to say to people "Hi I'm Shiro, and before we become friends you have to know that I'm a genetically enhanced human.". So telling a bit of a stretched truth wasn't going to hurt his reputation. After all he was the first of his kind as far as he knew so he wasn't sure what to do when it came to human interaction. So Clara...Can I ask you something personal? He said, acting a bit more mature for someone his age. Why do you work in such a crummy place? A hard working woman like you should have better if you ask me.. He said, his sentence staying on topic but his eyes else where, he was examining the surroundings, curious to see how people dressed and listening to the music. Every night it the songs were different and the clothing styles were slightly different. Was this what they called...Trend? He wasn't sure but he wanted to know more about it like he did everything else. ╚☯═══════════════════════════════════════════════╝
Clara laughed in response to his comment about being poor. "Don't I know it," she in lighthearted agreement. She moved a little further along the bar, continuing to wipe down while waiting for another patron to seem in need of a drink. However, she was still close enough to Shiro for conversation. In response to his next comment, she could only blink in confusion. What did gender have to do with anything? Or was this another one of those innuendo situations - another thing that wouldn't help him in the slightest bit as a bartender? "Well," she said, smiling a bit, "you'll have to take that up with our manager." To be honest, Clara was kind of hoping for a more experienced new co-worker. She was used to working with Jake, who, like her, had been bartending for years. And they'd just hired another young one, so she'd probably have to train him as well. She didn't know if she could handle two inexperienced kids, but, well, she would do what she had to.
When the boy wondered if he could ask her a personal question, Clara moved closer. No, please don't, she thought, wondering what it was going to be this time. 'Are you single?' was the most common, and she would usually just lie. Fortunately, his question was a bit less annoying, but she still didn't exactly want to answer. They didn't know each other that well, after all. But, he was a customer, and please the customer she would! Putting on an air of playfulness, she smacked his arm lightly with the bar mop. Hey, it's not crummy!" Clara said with a laugh. "Lots of people do this for a living, it can be quite the respected career! You know, Jake just got a gig in Vegas. He made it big time! You can make good money selling drinks in a place like that." While it was true, there were many people who loved this job, and who did want to do it for the rest of their lives, Clara wasn't one of them. She wanted to be a nurse, but with raising Valentine and everything, she'd never had the time or the money to get a degree. Heck, she'd never even graduated high school. Maybe if Val would get her life together and make enough money to support herself, then Clara could start saving, get her G.E.D.... but that just wasn't possible right now. She shook her head sadly, but never let the smile leave her face. While she hadn't exactly answered the question, most people would be satisfied with the response. It had worked time and again before this night. As a bartender, she found that people generally preferred to talk about themselves, and it was her job to listen. They would never really know her.

╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════☯╗ Shiro frowned but hid it well by taking a sip of his drink while frowning. He knew it was part of her job but it was obvious that she was putting on a show. Maybe to a drunk kid who was living the moment it seemed normal but Shiro was very deductive when it came to people. He put down the cup and gave Clara a soft smile. He noticed how she seemed to be reminiscing about something but he knew it wasn't his place to pry. Clara, not to be rude but the "perfect bartender" act needs a bit of work...I'm not some drunk high schooler after all... He said, giving the woman a toothy smile. He didn't want her to just think of him as another customer. He didn't have any friends so he figured he might as well start now.
Just because I'm paying for a drink you made doesn't mean I'm just some customer...in my opinion I'm a good listener... He stated before finishing off his drink and sighing in relief. Shiro spun around a few times on the bar stool before stopping himself. What to say now...Shiro thought about this for a few moments before deciding to just wait for her response. The male rest his cheek in his palm and smiled softly. ╚☯═══════════════════════════════════════════════╝
