Rob was sitting at his computer desk just surfing the internet, dressed in nothing but his t-shirt and boxers, when his cellphone started going off unexpectedly. He answered it drowsily, "Hello?" as it was early in the morning and he still hadn't finished his first cup of coffee. His eyes then got bigger gradually as he listened in silence to the voice on the other side of the line. After the person was done talking Robert hung up the phone, lowering it from his ear slowly till his arm hung vertically from his side. He then dropped the phone, it landing rather quietly on the carpeted apartment floor. Rob's father had just called him and told him his grandfather's funeral was tomorrow.
