Jiao-long had a fierce face, the sort that you might ignore or try to pass by quickly, but underneath the male was diplomatic, and fair.

Joining the pride at a younger age, he had certainly found the South house to be the best fit for him. Over time he had discovered his ability to mould himself to fit certain criteria, and had used this and his overall wit and wisdom to move up into the ranks. He was now a Councilor, and very content with his position. To have influence was a wonderful thing, and he would make sure that it was used for good.

He was tired, and thirsty. Having been out too long in the sun had left the male with a headache and a blurriness behind the eyes. As a consequence, he ventured out to the nearest watering hole with an unintentional scowl on his face.

Zheng Huang was not threatening. He had been born and raised in the south house, accustomed to training himself to work quickly and swiftly, deliver a message as fast as possible. This had proven to be quite the task, given as he was a lion and he was... Slow. He wasn't dumb, he was just careful. He wanted clarification before he went zipping off throughout the different houses.

His employer for today had gotten quite mad at him, having to repeat himself several times for Zheng to get the message as clear as he could. As a result the employer simply told Zheng to "forget it" and take the job to a younger, faster lion instead.

Zheng knew he needed to improve his short term memory skills, only he wasn't sure how to go about doing that. It frustrated him and with a sigh he had gone to a watering hole he happened to be near and was doing his best to train his memory. He was giving himself false missions of random information. Then several minutes later he was trying to recall the exact string of random info as best he could.

So far he wasn't having much luck, and in his frustration Zheng batted the water in front of him. How was he suppose to be a good messenger when he could hardly remember anything at all?!
