Neculai had taken down a large gazelle on his own - not necessarily a sign of great strength but it had given him an ego boost. The kill had been fast, but he had been faster. He smirked, smug at the idea that he was such a good hunter. He had eaten his fill of it, the carcass left resting beside his rock where he laid. He should have moved off, allowed scavengers to come and pick at it, but it was his kill. He deserved to guard it until he decided to move off.

He stretched languidly, his muscles rippling under his fur as he made himself comfortable.

Velveteen Angel

Sharti felt like she was falling a bit short on the adventure side of things. A while ago she had a lot of adventure, but since then she felt like things had gotten really boring, especially after she set out on her own again. She had not met a single interesting creature, good or bad, and that was irritating to say the least.

So her mood was not the best as she walked with no hurry in her paws. She had no where to be, which was just as annoying. Maybe she should go and find a pride to live in, some place that was fun and always had something to do.

Or at least find a more populated part of the rogue lands. She was a social creature, and needed drama in her life! All this peace was driving her mad.

Spotting a lion hovering over a dead gazelle like a guardian, Sharti tilted her head and sighed. Some lions were so damn possessive of their food! If she was full, then she did not need any of the food she left behind, and was happy to give it to someone else.

"If you were protecting that little guy, I think it's safe to say you failed," she said, as she approached. She stopped a short distance away, just in case he was an aggressive sort that did not appreciate jokes.
