Neve was out on her own, flying above the forest that was next to her wintery home. Really Neve wanted to be enjoying her freedom but in truth she was a little ticked off. Cles kept insisting on keeping company with a lion in the pride. Lions were no good, lions were bad, the Queen had even said so.

Shaking her head the white avian tried to shake the thoughts from her head. It wasn't often Neve got time to herself and she should not use this valuable time worrying about the lines that Cles might be stepping over.

Ilwe was a traveler. Or, well, he traveled with one anyhow. Are was far below him at the moment, but she was easy to spot in the snow, with her bright yellow-orange fur. She stood out a lot, but Ilwe always looked out for her, eyes scanning for danger as he flew far up above her. It was a new place, of course. There were few places the blue-white raven did not dare to venture (like the desert), but the snow was fine - or, mostly so anyhow.

The raven huffed a small sigh, peering down through the trees for his cheetah companion before focusing his attentions back on the sky before him. It was a nice day for flying at least. He was quite glad he wasn't stuck perched on one of Are's bony shoulders for once.

Neve heard the flapping of wings before she saw the blue avian. She began turning her head looking out for who was making the noise. She assumed that it would be another avian from the pride, many were out in the forest area hunting for pelts to keep the pride warm through the winter.

Neve was surprised however to see a bird that she didn't recognize. She smiled at the Blue raven. "Hello" she bellowed to him over the winds of the sky. If he was interested in chatting with her they could land in a tree to chat but for now Neve felt free flying, she didn't want to stop if he wasn't worth the chat.

Ilwe, of course, had expected to see other birds flying in the nice updrafts that the mountain/forest combination supplied, but he didn't expect any others to approach him! And a lady, at that. "Goodday!" He greeted in turn. He hadn't had avian conversation in a long while. Most of his company was fortunately/unfortunately Are. He loved the girl, but she was a bit cocky at times, and it could wear on his nerves.

The ravel stretched his wings out, letting himself fall into a simple soar, banking a bit so he was flying closer to her. There was no need for shouting after all, even in the wind.

Neve watched with a smile as the male avian swung in from a swoop beside her. She realized then that there was no reason to stop flying to talk, she could have the best of both worlds, updrafts and a conversation with a rather handsome male.

Neve was happy that the male she had stumbled across was so good looking, his blue and white feather perfectly suited to the wintery pride she called home.

"You're not from this area." she observed. "Are you just passing through or are you and your companion there looking for a new home." she asked gesturing towards the brightly coloured cheetah below.

Seaki
Of course she noticed the bright Cheetah. That was a hard thing to miss, after all, with Are's bright body. "I'm not," He agreed, nodding his head. He flapped his wings once, letting the wind carry him without the effort Are, that's the girl below, it depends on her really. She has wandering feet, it's hard to keep her still!" He told the other bird. "My name is Ilwe," he introduced after a moment.

Its been a while since he had such a lovely lady to speak to. She looked like the clouds, or freshly fallen snow. Perhaps he could stay a bit longer after Are left the lands... Ah, but that would depend on both of them now, wouldn't it?

Nessiaing
Neve smiled, she could tell that the male was eyeing up her good looks. Neve was perfectly suited to the surroundings. She was just like the freshly fallen snow. She angled her self just so knowing that it would make her feathers look fluffier and fuller.

"Well Ilwe it is a pleasure to meet you." Neve said her tone sweet and docile. It wasn't really her way, she was usually a tough some what callious type. She was a strict rule follower, but well if she were to be frank this male was good looking and she could use a good flirt, maybe even a romp in the hay so to speak.

"My names Neve" she told him sweetly. "The area is quite nice if you can get your companion to stick around, perhaps my Cles could keep her company for a little while." Neve said thinking quickly it would be nice for Cles to be socializing with someone other then that awful lioness.

Seaki
Ilwe gave the lady an appreciative sound, before giving a nod. "Perhaps that would keep her still for a bit. She needs a bit of a rest, I think." He agreed. He didn't quite know who Cles was, but he was aching to find out. Perhaps Are would take a shine to him like like he had to Neve. He doubted it would keep her down long though.

"Shall we bring them together then?" He asked. It would be easy to guide Are in the proper direction, after all. Even so, the Cheetah could be a bit off putting in her enthusiasm... Still, he had hope it would work.

Nessiaing
Neve took one more look down towards the brightly coloured cheetah. She was pretty sure that Cles could use the attention of a female other than the salve lion. She was also pretty sure he would hate her setting him up. He would just have to suck it up she decided.

"Yes we should set them up." Neve said with a sly grin on her face. "I will meet you back here in an hour, I'll bring Cles with me." she said.

She was looking forward to spending more time with the male bird, and if she could keep Cles in line while she did it, it would be all the better.
Seaki
Ilwe gave a nod, grinning at her as well. "I'll see you then!" he agreed, beginning his descent. He just had to get Are to the meeting point now, and he knew exactly how to do it. It wouldn't take long, he'd just have to convince the cheetah a bit.

Then he could spend more time getting to know Neve. He was counting on it...
