[PRP] Crocodile Jump! (Kazuki & Lumi)

Kazuki's cubs had grown. They were practically all grown up now, though they were honestly still adolescence and still obviously still in need of their mother occassionally, she had a lot more freedom than she had when they were younger.

She had had to be responsible while they were young. Careful, even, simply because they were not as good at dangerous games as she was. She giggled to herself as she paced the edge of the watering hole, eyeing the frustrated looking crocodiles with fascination.

They were frustrated because they knew what was about to happen.

Kazuki stretched languidly and bounced on her paws for a moment.

"Ready or not, here I come!" She giggled and began to wade into the water, reaching the tree which stuck out from the water as the crocs began to swim towards her. She had the advantage of height at the start of this game, but once she leapt, it was all fair game.

She beamed. This was going to be so much fun!

Good gosh, Lume really needed to cool off. He'd spent the morning running from a rather angry male, who had not been pleased to find Lume all cozied up and flirting with his girlfriend. It wasn't like it was Lume's fault. He didn't know the gal was mated. Shouldn't the male have been mad at her? But no, Lume had been the one to take the fall, sent packing into the savanna before the leopard clawed his ears off. Lume could have taken him, of course. Dancing really aided his ability to fight, though his mother despised the thought that Lume was using his dance moves for violence. He'd had plenty of experience getting into scuffles. No brutish leopard was going to scare him off. But Lume had promised his mother he'd try to cut down on the fighting, so the leotah had run instead.
The male could smell a river nearby. Good. He needed and drink and maybe just dunk himself quickly. He trotted easily towards the smell, stopping atop a small ledge to check the area out. Sometimes rivers were guarded by groups of ruffians and riff raff that Lume wasn't in the mood to deal with.
Instead of ruffians and riff raff, Lume was granted a very strange sight. A female cheetah stood atop a tree in the middle of the river, surrounded by crocodiles. Was she stuck? Did she need help? Or...no...it couldn't be. Surely she wasn't about to try crocodile jumping? Lume had never met anyone else who enjoyed the game. Persuading people into his other crazy activities was relatively easy, but most thought that crocodile jumping was way too dangerous.
Lume couldn't believe it. He sat on the ledge to watch for a moment longer, wanting to confirm his suspicions.
