The pale thrall tipped her head as she studied the bushes all around her. She had come to the edge of the pride, -not to escape for she had been forced to give that up after the first few times she had been caught and beaten for the attempts- but to gather a certain plant she had been told to fetch by one of the priestesses.
Frowning slightly she leaned in closer, trying to decide if the leaf looked like the one she was after. The problem being she had come from a more desert-like landscape and all these green bushes looked much alike to her...
Shaking her head she passed it up and moved to the next likely candadate, and was forced to resume the process of struggling to identify something she had never seen before.

It was unusual for the God of Durability to wander away from his pride, but he was coming to see that Elsa did not need his constant protection. She had her mate now, and Tikahn was taking good care of her. Better than the God would have thought, really, considering how goofy the lion was. Still, Elsa was clearly happy, and that would help her reign.
So he decided to take care of something he needed to do.
Enduring in a mortal coil was easy for him, as he was immortal and did not need to worry about the passage of time, but there were some things more important than that. His family line, and the legacy of the pride he called home, had to be spread, had to endure through the generations.
He needed to start his own family, of mortal borns, to endure the generations the way mortals do.
Out in the rogue lands, he hoped to find a willing female or two to carry his cubs for him. He spotted a female, which was the easy part of the plan, and approached her. His wings were curled against his frame, and he walked instead of flew. He held his head up proudly as he came closer.

Ru stared at yet one more green plant, studying its leaves with a near desperate focus. She was never going to get the right one.. They were green..and had roundish leaves with frilly edging, just like every other bush she had stared at! Closing her eyes she hoped and preyed something, anything, came along and saved her from this plant-leaf-search madness.
Suddenly something caught her attention. Pawsteps.. And they were close by. Opening her eyes she turned, only to freeze in place a second time. Though not from fear or frustration but from sheer surprise. She had never met a god before but the lion approaching her now was… well, he had to be one. The massive size of him for a start, and what looked a lot like wings curled close against his sides was the other big clue. Delight lit up the gentle lioness’ expression. Even as a free female in the roguelands she had never seen a God. And he was an incredibly striking one to be sure. His winter-touched coat reminded her strongly of the mountains and of snow.
As he drew close she smiled warmly, head lowering in a polite bob of greeting. “Hello there.” She smiled, dark eyes meeting the stranger’s, expression friendly. “May I help?” She wasn’t sure how she was supposed to greet a God, or for that matter how she was to greet any stranger approaching the Myrsky Syntynyt boarders. She was no reaver to offer Challenge. So instead she opted for polite and helpful. Maybe if she were lucky he would wish to talk for a while. Plants forgotten the slim blue female happily gave her visitor her full attention.
