[PRP] Reaching out [Furiza x ? ]

Furiza didn't like to roam too far from the snowy mountains, mostly because she was convinced the lions in the rogue lands would think she was weird. Her anti social tendencies weren't nearly as bad as they used to be, though, even since she had managed to find a pride in the mountains and a male she felt truly understood her.

Slowly but surely, she was trying to open up to others.

So today she had forced herself down from her snowy home to spend some time in the rogue lands. She was nervous, but she was hopeful no one would think her too strange. If someone teased her wing marking, she would like head back to the pride in shame and it would be months before she ventured out again.

But no pressure on her to make sure things went right. Sighing softly, she stopped by a small pond, dipping her head down to get a drink.

Braskeke was wandering as want was her profession. A good thief didn't hang around after they stole something, or at least not usually. So she tended to wander to find new unlucky subjects to steal from. Whenever she could she implicated cheetahs as the culprits. Bras was never sure why she'd started blaming the slim limbed felines, but she'd always despised them. Perhaps for their quick footed-ness to escape.

She trotted along. Her eyes were constantly watching for something that might be worth taking. It was usually a lot of walking for little reward, but if she didn't try then she wouldn't get. Bras saw movement in the distance and paused. Not anyone she knew or recognized, so potentially someone that might have something she wanted. The feline had interesting markings at least, she noted as she approached closer. "Greetings," she called out a safe distance away.

The lioness turned her head towards the leopard when she called, excitement and dread filling her all at once. Oh Gods, this was the moment she had been looking for! A chance to speak with someone 'normal'. And not a member of her pride, either! She had never seen the leopard before.

Then again, until recently she had never seen ANY leopards before. If not for visiting that colony, this leopard would have been the first. And how embarrassing that would have been! She had wanted to ask the leopards if they were just small lionesses.

She smiled at the leopard and moved towards her, trying not to look as nervous as she felt.

"Hello," she offered in return, "I'm Furiza, W-what's your name?"

Her mark came toward her instead of running away. Braskeke purred and licked the fur on her chest as she waited for the blue lioness to get closer to her. From the corner of her eyes though she was critically analyzing the mark. Disappointingly though the lioness didn't appear to have much on her. The leopardess hid her disappointment smoothly.

"Lovely to meet you Furiza. I'm Braskeke. What brings you out here on this lovely day?" Bras kept her voice soft and sweet. While she didn't appear to have anything, she wasn't going to just give up on the possibilities. She settled herself down and flicked her tail to invite the other female to sit too.

She smiled when the leopard said that it was lovely to meet her. Was it?! That was certainly different! "It's nice to meet you too, Braskeke." Slowly, she moved herself a little closer, sitting herself near, but not too near, the other creature. She still felt very awkward about talking to someone else when it wasn't the norm for her, but have that small greeting thrown her way did seem to make her a little more at ease.

"To be honest, I was just looking around for someone to speak to," she said sheepishly, looking down at her paws, "I'm not.... very good at conversation. I was happy to see a leopard out here."

She looked at the green lady once more, tilting her head slightly to one side. "What about you?" She offered, aware a follow up question was probably in order on her part, "what brings you way out here? Not much further away it starts to get pretty cold and even a bit snowy."
