Personality: Cassie is struggling to overcome her bloodlust and maintain her humanity. She tries to suppress her hunger for human flesh as much as possible by eating any other animals and staying away from humans when she can help it. Though sometimes she may actively seek out people out of desperation for some sort of knowing that there is more than just the undead and murder.
She always feels sad and has pondered whether suicide would be an effective means to save herself from the everyday monotony of survival, but she's a fighter and figures she may as well let her death happen with the natural course of things. Cassie puts on a brave and confident front but really she's scared and confused. For the moment, she has settled with a role of a 'reaper', as she will try to attack, kill, and devour any already weak and dying survivors or just horrible people. Even these have proven to linger on her conscience.
Likes:
✓ Daylight. It makes her feel safer.
✓ Being armed.
✓ Handsome, gullible, and mean spirited people she does not have to feel sorry for when she befriends and betrays them for sustenance.
Dislikes:
✘ Ephialtes. She is terrified of them. Cassie thinks they have some idea that she is also a type of zombie, but that never stopped them from going after her before.
✘ Sleep. It's hard enough trying to survive on your own and having no one to watch out for you while you rest, she gets nightmares too.

Biography___________________________________
Cassie had been part of a large and fairly competent group, until there was a power struggle within the community that lead to shootings. The noise attracted a group of Ephialets. The adults stayed to fight while a group of children were taken away by the oldest teenagers. For the first 2 years, Cassie survived comfortably with this group. Then tensions began to rise as the children grew up into teenagers and the then teens turned into adults with no real clue how to handle a large group of newly hormonal pre-teens. There were deaths, exiles, and suicides until only Cassie and one other survivor her age was left.
They managed to live on for another year until the two made a dangerous decision to trust another group when Cassie's leg was badly injured. They were taken in and at first everything was alright and Cassie recovered. However, it turned out that the group had been infiltrated by two Dilettante women who killed off the group while Cassie and her partner were out scavenging. They returned to be attacked by the Dilettantes. They fought and got separated. Cassie was wounded by her attacker but escaped and lived on as a normal human for three more months before she woke up one day with a craving for flesh, and her memory of the past slowly deteriorating.
