It had come to a hard decision, but one that was inevitable. Stay or go. A choice every male must face. The time had come for Thanda to make his own decision. The male had spent some time out in the outskirts alone to give himself time to think things through. In the end the choice had been clear to him. He would need to leave his home.
The choice was not an easy one. Particularly leaving his siblings. It was time to left them know. He walked among the pride searching for whichever family member he could find at this time.

Normally, Ifunci would be bouncing about the pride, prancing more than walking. That was just his personality. He was always light on his feet, his head in the clouds. Or buried in a big mess of wildflowers. But it was rather hard to bounce when you only had three good legs. The Ahluke had been extremely worried at first. Worried that he'd never be able to run or hunt again, worried that his status in the pride would be limited to being a burden. But instead, his prognosis was good. His leg had only been cracked, and as long as he stayed off of it for the next few weeks, Ifunci had been told that he would recover. So instead, he was hobbling around, a little bored, hoping there would be some cubs for him to babysit soon. Anything to entertain him and save him from this eternal boredom he was suffering. One could only daydream for so long before even that got boring. "Thanda! Hey, Thanda!" The male called upon catching sight of his brother. Maybe he would be able to help with Ifunci's boredom.
