[ORP] Some family time. (Anju, Tamu, Gwarredd, Viher) [FIN]

Days were dreadfully lonely as of late. Tamu often found herself out in the world either napping or simply being. This hadn't been her goal as a youngster, but here she was. The young hybrid knew she'd find her way someday, today just was not that day.

Awakening from a nap the female stood slowly, arching her back and enjoying the steady movement as she stretched his way to a complete stance. This was followed by a yawn to rival the yawn of a Goddess. Giving a few blinks and allowing her teal orbs to adjust to the new day she finally began thinking about what she may do. The attempt at such a thing failed within moments and he simply began doing.

"A nice dip in the water may wake my thoughts." The words were slow and, she hoped, purposeful. Perhaps the waters would do such a thing as to even awaken a desire of a particular position in life. The thought itself wracked Tamu with a laugh that startled even herself. Even so she began her short journey to the waters edge and was greeted with a lovely surprise of her brother.

"Hello Viherminttu!" Tamu spoke the greeting with as much enthusiasm as she could muster. Her mind immediately poured dread over the situation at the notion of going through the conversation as to how she was doing. Yet she could not turn back now and found her legs carrying her to and in the water, all the while with a pleasant smile on her maw.

She allowed herself a moment to adjust to the sudden difference in temperature as she submerged herself to just below the chin. Tamu sighed softly, this was a comfort, one she so desperately needed. Carefully she watched surprise and joy move across her brothers face as he spoke and recognized her. The joy hurt her and she nearly winced.

"It does feel like quite a while." She mustered another grin. "The water is a treat on a day like this. I'm glad to have come down here for this and the company." Soon as she finished speaking her body shuddered and not due to the chill of the water this time. The voice of their Mother echoed pleasantly across the ripples of the watering hole. Usually a welcome sight, but recently Tamu had sought to be away and quite enjoyed it. "Hello Mom." She turned her vibrant blue orbs towards Anju and gave another smile that stayed glued to her maw.

It was moments after catching the eye of her Mother did she spy their step-father so to speak. She had only taken to calling him Gwaredd and so she hadn't truly created a bond just yet. It was still so new. "Gwaredd." She greeted. "Tamu, my my have you two found a nice place to cool down." The leopard commented smoothly, whole heartedly ignoring some of the cold reactions he saw in response to his and her Mothers presence. "How have you both been?" Ah, the dreaded question. She shuddered yet again and just shrugged.

"And how about you Vihr?"

The leopard took a moment to give a gentle, affectionate touch of his cheek to Anjus before seeking a way to the water. Having a black pelt had it's down falls, the sun and him certainly weren't on the best of terms.

It seemed she had just narrowly avoided the conversation she had been dreading so much. There was no way she could get so lucky twice in a row, perhaps it was time to simply get her paws beneath her and lunge at new chances to change her life and feeling towards the 'how are you' question.

For the moment she turned her teal eyes towards her parents and kept as big a grin as she could on her face. It likely looked a tad awkward, but was a lot more easy to ignore than a stumble of words. Her silence remained steadily while the rest of her family spoke on.

Gwarredd welcomed the pools that wrapped about his body in a blanket of cool refreshing waters. These pools were a necessary part of survival for those like him, pelted in such a way that you'd want to simply rip it off on the hottest of days. He giggled in amusement at his mates statement. "But it's much nicer in here than out there." He gestured to his step-cubs and the waters surrounding them. "New blood is always such a blessing."

His words were a little muffled at the end as he too dunked his head below than raising it. Suddenly feeling a tad playful he batted some water towards Tamu, hoping to include her a little more. He mused at her immediate reaction to duck, which lead to a more thorough soaking. "Ha!" He proclaimed.

Once she rose back from the watery hiding place she had chosen she batted water back at him, likely soaking her brother and Mother. Both of which she had forgotten about in her sudden need to defend.

Fun and games indeed.

Gwarredd gave a large laugh at the return fire that seemed to spray, not just him, but her brother and Mother. This was an ideal family moment, one that they wouldn't soon forget. Suddenly there was water everywhere, given from paws and then the sudden bouncing about from Viher. All the while the dark leopard was laughing, but also trying not to laugh in fear of swallowing some of that water wrong.

Tamu was battling the same thing, not feigning her laughter or happiness any further she was truly enjoying herself and again tried to hide from the battle by submersing herself.This time she was met with more water when trying to recover on the surface. She smiled broadly to Viher at his beaming appearance.

"Oh." Gwarredd responded than glanced to his belly that was showing at bit at the surface as he had moved to his back and leaned against a shallow part of the shore. "Perhaps it is time to feed the beast." He smiled warmly to his mate and tapped at his bit of pudge. "What do you two think, up for a bit of hunting?" He played with the idea that they were old enough to do this, it struck him slightly and he almost began to yearn for more. That was a topic for when he and his mate were alone. For now, one thing at a time.

"Yes, a hunt would be fantastic. I'm starving!" Tamu piped up, her stomach responding to the thought of food in a growly manner.
