Intaba Contest! Two Cubs to Win! (CLOSED WINNERS ANNOUNCED)

Both cubs will be members of Intaba'umbikezeli. The pride is still I/T but has been submitted for approval.

~Rules~

1. The cubs MUST stay in Intaba. We are fairly resonable so if something does come up, like an amazing plot, please speak to us and we will see if there can be a work around.
2. Make sure you read up on the pride, its a little different than a lot, plus you will need to for one of the contests.
3. You can enter for both cubs but can only win one.
4. Please follow all Gaia ToS and SoA shop rules/
5. Be nice, no drama here, and no discouraging others from entering.
6. For the Trivia portion once you send the answers, they are final you can not change your answers.
7. A SoA newbie is someone with 5 SoA or less.
8. In the event of a tie in the Trivia contest the cub will be raffled off between those with the highest score.

~The Family~

Mom: Itzel has spent most of her life not knowing who she was or where she came from. She has had absolutely no memory. She began to get the urge to travel, along her way she must have met a male as she ended up pregnant but she doesn't remember him. Just before giving birth Iztel made it to the Intaba, where slowly but surely her memory is coming back, starting from when she was a cub growing up here in the pride. (owned by nessiaing)

RP Prompt: You have the "sight". From what you've heard males don't often get blessed with the sight and those who do usually can't handle it. How do you feel about your gift from the gods? Do you try to hide it from others afraid of what they will think? Do you try to seek out other males in the pride that have the sight?

I've Been Blessed!
Name: Ikara (Azerbaijani for "shiver")
Future Rank: Hunter, or Scout if he can swing it, since he would prefer a rank that will keep him away from the rest of the pride, just in case he becomes violent as a result of having the Sight.
Personality: Naturally a sweet cub, inclined to forming deep attachments, Ikara always seeks to protect those he loves, even if that means protecting them from himself, so despite his natural inclinations, he'll grow up to be a lion disinclined to make friends.

Rules.

Sitting alone, hiding from his family, Ikara decided that he would make rules to protect himself and others from the possibility that he might one day go violently insane thanks to this "blessing" of his.

Rule number one, he decided, was that he would never do anything to hurt another lion. Ever. Related to that, he would try to keep his claws blunted so that if he ever slipped up, he couldn't do any real damage. He would work out how to protect people from his teeth later, because right now he couldn't come up with any workable solution.

Rule number two, he would never think about doing anything to hurt another lion, and if he did, he would punish himself somehow. Or maybe just go somewhere to be alone until the moment passed? Perhaps his parents could help him come up with a place like that, since his current hiding place was not very effective as far as keeping him away from other people. They couldn't see him, but he could definitely see them.

Rule number three, he would never get married. That way he couldn't run the risk of having male cubs with the Sight. The fact that marriage was not actually a requirement for cubs did not occur to him. He was much too young to be thinking that way.

He paused, scratching idly at his left ear as he considered what other rules he could use to bargain with, to convince his parents to keep him and not throw him out of the pride. Nothing else came to mind, but he would ask them what sort of things they thought he had missed. Surely, as his parents, they would love him enough to help him. They had to, right?

Maybe, before he set about living by this set of rules, he ought to make sure his parents loved him enough to keep him, first. For that he would need...more rules. Obviously.

Rule one...

Extras: He will probably go out of his way to be super endearing to his parents and siblings for a while, until he feels certain that he's not going to be kicked out of the pride, but after that, in keeping with that "never getting married" thing, Ikara will probably avoid all girls like the plague and do his best not to make too many guy friends, either, just in case they have sisters or something.

Name: Tajan ('secret' - Bosnian)
Future Rank: Umbhali - he believes that the busier he keeps himself and the more devoted he seems to the sights of the women within the pride, the easier it'll be for him to hide his secret.
Personality: Tajan is quiet and skittish. Although he is a brilliant young male and naturally extroverted he prefers to hide that for the sake of keeping himself safe. He is extraordinarily attached to his family, having a particular fondness for his mother, and thus he is deathly afraid of being ousted from the pride. Tajan therefore keeps to himself, even being a bit withdrawn from his family, for the sake of his own protection.
Prompt Response:

Rumors.

The rumor mill was abuzz constantly within the pride. She was with him, this cub seemed to be a little on the slow side - there were always rumors flying. The particular bit of gossip he was keeping his ears open for now was a bit darker.

Tajan realized he was a seer early on. It was troubling, hearing the lionesses in the pride recount their sights and finding them eerily similar to his own visions. He'd thought, at first, it was simply his lively cub imagination run rampant. However, it became rapidly apparent that this was not the case.

Old Intaba tales told of male seers. They detailed the violence and uncontrollability that had struck the males, causing the women and normal males of the pride to run them out. It was all for their safety. To this day, the pride still believed in the danger of male seers. They weren't to be trusted. Tajan knew there was no chance of him turning into that kind of a lion. He was a gente soul, devoted to his family and pride, and would never hurt anyone. He barely even like to hunt. But still, there was inherent danger in his ability, even if it only really put himself at risk.

It was said that males were more likely to be cursed with the sight when they were light-coated. When he glanced around the pride, Tajan saw it filled with males with snow-colored pelts. So he knew he was not the only male damned with this - he couldn't be. Which caused him to hatch out a plan. He wanted to start an alliance with other male seers. Not an "us vs. them" kind of alliance - Tajan loved his pride and did not wish to pit himself or any others against it. But more of a support group. Tajan sought to find others that he could talk to. Surely, if he was struggling with finding his place in the pride, there were others that had experienced and were currently experiencing the same thing.

And so Tajan kept his ears to the winds of the rumor mill at all times with the desperate hope that his dream could become reality soon, before he drove himself insane with the secret he'd been keeping.

I've Been Blessed!
Name: Sophronius Ratko (Self-controlled war/battle)
Future Rank: Ibutho(warrior)
Personality: A conflicted cub. Ratko struggles most of his young life to deal with his knowledge of being a male seer. He tries to cope with the feeling that he isn't a danger to his pride, and the teachings of the pride that male seers can be aggressive. He isn't sure if his sight is a blessing or a curse. To help hide the fact, he may be cool and aloft with others. With such a secret to keep it's hard to open up to others, although he desperately wants to make friends.

As he reaches adulthood, he comes to terms that his sight is part of who he is. Ratko still tries to suppress his visions if he can. He wants to become a warrior to show that he can protect his pride.

Prompt Response:
At first, Ratko is baffled to learn by males having the sight is bad and females its ok. When his first episode strikes the young male is horrified. He realizes he must hide his sight from the pride or risk the consequences. His biggest fear is that the pride would consider him too dangerous to keep and leave him in the roguelands to whatever fate awaited him. It doesn't really occur to him that other males may also be in the same situation he is. He struggles down a long lonely path, when his heart cries for close friendships.

Extras:
1. Would love for mommy to realize he is a seer and either help or shun him.
2. Maybe a close friend who finds out his secret and helps him hide it.
3. He meets another seer male?
4. Eventually, his powers become common knowledge in the pride. Does he stay or is he kicked out?
