[Requiem of Whyspers]

Kaya walked into the small cottage in the mountains and held up a slip of paper. "I've got a free pass to this place. I wanna check it out." He said to whomever was listening. As it turned out, both of the attendants were. Kole walked over and snatched up the paper, examining it carefully for a moment. It seemed he was looking for something.

"There's a watermark on there, if that's what you're looking for." Kaya assured him. Kole sneered at him for a moment before the mark in question appeared at last. A greenish shimmer with a bitter smell to it. "You used better juice for the marks again, didn't you?" He asked Lum as he set the paper down on the counter.

"Of course! Bi bi." Lum replied, carrying a small pamphlet over to Kaya and opening it up. "We have several locales to explore. Which would you like to venture into? Bi bi?" He asked, holding the pamphlet in his hand.

Kaya looked over the options available to him and decided on one quickly enough. The swamp stood out to him. Something told him there was something there he might like. "I want to check out that swamp." He said, pointing to the picture of the area

"Very well. I'll lead you there but then you're on your own. Bi bi. If you need any help getting out just scream." Lum giggled.

"Shut up, Lum." Kole snapped, annoyed by his brother's antics. "We'll be with you the whole time. Just be careful not to die. We don't like that happening on our watch."

"Don't care." Kaya replied. "I don't have any intentions of dieing but seeing as I survived a skyscraper falling on me a few months ago, I need the exercise of getting out and doing something." He said as he was lead out of the building. More of a shack than anything, in his opinion. He followed the brothers' lead until the ground began to grow squishy beneath his feet. As it did, he found that he might need a bit of help here, deciding to release his Togekiss and ride on her back for the time being. "I'm afraid I might sink out here." He told the Pokemon, who was more than happy to oblige her trainer with a ride.

"I was afraid you might be badly suited for a trip out here. Metal don't exactly float, after all. Kole snickered, shifted across the soggy soil with ease.

"So says the Exadrill guy." Kaya countered.

"I've been out here a long time. I know how and where to move to stay safe and un-drowned." Kole assured him.

Kaya spent the next little while in silence, looking around at the wonders he had never realized existed in this mountain range. There were trees he didn't even know existed up here growing in this muggy, stinking moss-pit full of water and disease. Why had he wanted to come out here again? Right, because his gut had told him to. "Remind me to never listen to my gut again." He told Anael. The Jubilee Pokemon replied with a slightly confused look but shrugged it off after a moment. Humans did that whole "not making any sense" thing a lot, after all.

A few aimless minutes later, Kaya found himself looking up into the branches of a tree bearing strangely shaped pink fruits, "Those are berries, right?" He asked.

"Kasib to be precise." Kole replied.

"They're very rare. Bi bi." Lum added. "Take one with you." Lum suggested.

"I think I will, actually." Kaya replied, tucking the berry into his bag.

"Well, we've been out here for a while. It's time to head back." Kole said after a few moment minutes, turning to lead the way back.

At some random point, known to no one else but the two brothers who ran the tours, Cera had swiped one of the odd passes to take a quick trip over. She figured she'd get a chance to explore the forest and see how it was, but in her effort to try and explore on her own, she'd find herself taking more than a few wrong turns. And maybe a few more ascensions than she'd care for, finding not a forest surely filled with frolicking Bunnelby, but a peak that would've surely tested anyone that didn't have the luxury of levitation. She would find an oddly shaped berry, later identifying it as a Ganlon Berry, but ultimately left Tough Peak and the tour mildly disappointed. Maybe next time she'd actually ask for directions.

Unsure of how they showed up, Cera found herself with three more passes to this odd place, deciding to take another chance and find that forest she wanted to find the first time. An unfortunate turn in her attempt to travel would have her end up not in a forest, but a swamp whose name didn't seem to fit at all. It was murky and slimy, and seemed more fitting for a Grimer to be in than a Mew that simply wanted a trek through the forest. She didn't dare drop to the ground, unaware of a Bug Gem somehow ending up on her head as she hurried on out of the Clever Swamp.

The Mew would find herself having to use a second pass to get back into the tours after her departure, certain that this time, she'd have her directions straight. She would get further in than before, taking different turns and figuring she'd have it right this time... that is, until she saw a vast canyon. Wondering if maybe her destination of choice was actually at the bottom, she'd start her travels through the Cool Canyon. She was fortunate that the Pokemon there largely left her alone, but didn't seem to find anything but more canyon the further she went. Disappointed, she started her way back out, randomly scooping a Pearl from the ground as she came across it.

Disappointment was ever present on Cera's face as she used up he third pass almost as soon as the first two had been, stubbornly trying to find where she wanted to go. She thought that perhaps she finally had some luck when she came across a lush meadow, the picturesque area proving more appealing than the peaks and swamps and canyons before it. Though she enjoyed the area a bit more, even managing to grab some Stardust she found on the ground, the meadow was all she could seem to find before hearing a loud ding that signaled that her trip was now over. Maybe she'd find where she wanted to go eventually, but the Beautiful Meadow was at least a close second.

Determined to eventually find her way into the forest, Cera resorted to something she really hoped wouldn't have Sol going after her about. She started taking Snag Coins from the small stash, using a couple to take another tour through here. She figured to get as good of a lay of the land as possible, ending up in the Cool Canyon in hopes that she could figure out just what path would get her to where she needed to go. Even if she had to spend every coin she could get her mitts on in the process. She'd end up finding a Dragon Gem in the process before her time in the nature tour ran out, though she was determined to keep taking tours if she had to.

She would take another tour in the Cool Canyon almost as soon as the one before it, finding yet another item - this time, a Pearl - and stashing it. Might as well take advantage of what she could find.

A third tour would end up happening in equally short order, though by now, Cera felt like she had a good idea of the Cool Canyon's general area now. She hoped, as she grabbed an item before her third tour ended.

A fourth tour would end up being done, however, just to be sure she could say she knew the area with absolute certainty, stashing yet another item in the process. Maybe not to the degree that Cole and Lum would, but good enough.

Tour five would lead off into another section of the Cool Canyon, with a bit of curiosity of where it might branch off to. By now, the item stash was beginning to grow decently through the repeated tours to the same place.

A sixth tour to the canyon brought nothing new as far as information and the lay of the land were concerned. Maybe she had finally exhausted the area of what she could find out, apart from collecting another item on the way through.

A seventh, final tour would confirm Cera's suspicions. There wasn't anything else she could figure out about the Cool Canyon without assistance from Cole and Lum. As she plucked another item from the ground, she shuddered at the idea that she might have to actually talk to the odd fellow in a Celebi costume.
