- Looking for a Mate -

I plan on getting Shan Furen's plots moving and I'm looking for a mate for her in the near future.



I plan on having her leave the Mlima lands (finally) for IC reasons and during that time, I'd like for her to find someone. I don't care much who as pretty much anything could be plotted out with enough effort on both sides. <3 I'm considering having her end up in a fight with another god and losing her memories. If she regains them, that'll be left to be seen. I do know she'll remember she's the original goddess of mountains, her haughty and self-serving ways and her general 'holier-than-thou' personality. That won't be changing, but rather she won't remember where she came from, old friends, allies, or lovers, etc., etc..

I - could - see her enslaved, so long as she can break out of it, or in a harem/multi-wife situation, so long as she's the head of it. She couldn't stand being number two. It'd be something that would need to be talked about though.

I'm generally looking for a lion and preferably one that's naturally colored, or at least complimenting colors. She's attracted to those with power, so kings, warlords, captains, princes, etc., will have an easier time initially impressing her but she'll have higher expectations for them.
I am - not - looking for a god mate. I have that planned already.

If I could pick anything, I'd love her to mother the leader of a pride, end up the patron/protector to a new one, something like that. Her domain is so broad that could see it happening, but is still somewhat unlikely.

Asante Kwa'maisha

This guy is currently in the Jini. But I'm probanly going to take him out from there as he needs plot. Unless plot finds him there.

Born Zawadi Ya'tatu, the third son of the NPC Takatifu Duniani pride's leaders, Asante was raised under the full weight of the crown, following in his father's footsteps, expected to rise above all the other pride youths in hunting, philosophy and leadership, to be like his father, a serious, worldly lion who never smiled and rarely praised his cubs. Asante grew up as an old mind in a young body. Yet the restrained young cub had one thing he managed to keep from his tutors... He would slip away after his classes were over for the day, and walk the pride's lands, not as the Takatifu Duniani's youngest prince, but as Njema'mwana; son of an elderly couple who mistook the young prince for their dead child. It was not deciet, for he had told them of their mistake the first day they found him, sneeking about the lowest areas of the pride's home, and yet they took him in, begged him to visit when he could and relieve the loneliness. With both close to the end of their lives, he could not find a reason to refuse and thus, every few days he would visit them, bringing back kills for them when he was old enough to hunt and simply spending time with them near their den. He made several friends among the poorest members of the pride, none of whom ever saw the young princes and thus, never realised his true identity.
Eventually, his two older brothers rose to become the next Heir and the heir's advisor. For Asante, the fact that there was no place for him was a devastating blow, and yet he discovered that he was still expected to do as told, to become a member of the council. He knew he would never be accepted, the council was made up of older lions, their experience raising them above the rest of the pride. Asante, doomed forever to live within the shadows of his brothers without any chance to prove himself, finally snapped. One night, after the rest of the pride had fallen asleep, the young male slipped away from his family's den and left the Takatifu Duniani and vanished into the roguelands. Assumed dead by his family, Asante changed his name and now lives alone, free and happier than he has ever been in his life.

.:Notes:.
The markings on his face, tail and hind legs are only found in the royal line of the Takatifu Duniani pride. He usually tries and hides them under dirt or bits of leaf and grass he picks up.

He may change his name again if/when he leaves the Jini. He could ask his mate to rename him.

* Also possibly planning to make the Takatifu Duniani into a real pride in the future.





Laini'hatua
Personality: Having grown into a huge male, taking after both his parents, he has matured into a confident, relaxed and polite male who is more than capable of defending himself.

History: Born to one of the two Ithambo'hlabathi's Umholi. Having to leave his pride and his family upon reaching maturity, he struck out alone into the roguelands.
He met and started to fall for a rogue lioness. They unexpectedly had a litter together and the two little blue girls were the light of his life. One tragic day long before the girls were weeaned, his new mate went on a hunting trip but never returned, Laini discovering her dead some hours later. Lost and with two very young cubs depending on him he undertook the long and dangerous trek back to his former home where he left his daughters in the capable paws of his own mother in order for the two cubs to have a chance at survival.





Kobe
Son of two seers and grandson of the God of Hate, Neltharion.
He is mostly a blank slate. His dad is kind of sour and distanced, unable to really socialise and rather oblivious to the feelings of others, partly in thanks to his father the God of Hate. But his mom is a confident, sensual, accomplished lady who knows what she wants and goes for it. Kobe himself is a confident, well rounded male who takes a lot after his mother but with a far more down to earth temperment. Not a seer himself.



Raniero
Son of Giovanni and Maria Auditore (from Assassin's creed)
He is an Assassin, following in his father's and brother's pawsteps. Generally carefree, social and confident he will help anyone in need. Needs plot and development though.



Shahin
A cosplay of an OC who was a desert Sheikh. ICly he has no actual royal blood but when he comes of age he leaves his pride for long stretches of time and has a network of contacts out in the roguelands, acting as a Merchant Prince. He is cocky, confident and obvously talanted in his self-picked role.




If you want her to be enslaved, I can offer Ragnvard and his posse of Reavers from the Vikings. They could try and catch her and fail, or succeed only for her to escape afterward.

His birthpride is disbanded and I've been thinking about putting him in Kiburi Chambawa. Your plot idea about being the mother of a pride leader gave me an idea. He's never been RPed and doesn't really have a personality yet.

Note: I have NOT asked Talencia about this yet, and can't promise Shan's cubs will be pride leaders. I'm basically testing the water with you first.

On to my plot idea... Hallon does have some back markings (if you squint a little), but not enough to count as a Royal. (Royals = lions with wing markings or more prominent back markings) I was thinking of applying for the Soldier role.

Let's say he's a bit resentful about this. He thinks he could be more, and producing wing marked children would greatly improve his standing (or so he imagines at least). Flings to accomplish winged babies is encouraged, and winged gods/goddesses are treated with honor and respect in the pride. And being a fairly young male he'd definitely try his best to impress her.

Ruling positions are not hereditary, so there is a possibility that their kids will eventually end up there, but as I said - can't promise anything without some plotting with Talencia. They can certainly aim for that position, even if they "only" end up as Sister Queens or Consorts. Still pretty cushy roles in the pride.

Taji is the Player Overseer in the Kwa Kikombe (one of the leaders). It's the pride I suggested could have your IT pride play boogielion to, so we could possibly tie something in with these cubs if you'd like. Taji isn't looking to retire anytime soon and the pride elects the next leader, but since I'm one of the co-owners (Blu Chalk is the other), I can make sure one of their cubs becomes the next Player Overseer. The god of games visits the pride sometimes but there's no real 'patron' god, so she could claim that. They're not in the mountains but they're not that far off. Perhaps a new game in the off-season of Kikombe could revolve around mountains? IDK we could talk XD



Vidar is a Reaver in the SB and will end up being a Captain. He's got a massive crush on another lioness but Shinos and I decided that her gal is too focused on having cubs with gods to notice just how much he pines for her, so they'll never get together until they've both passed on. We're trying to get them to ascend to godhood and THEN they'd get together XD Vidar would be interested in a goddess since his gal pal is so interested in gods, so he'd be happy to take her as an unofficial mate of sorts. He'd probably fling with other SoA but he's not really the 'settle down' type. He'd definitely put her on a pedestal though since she's a goddess and she'd have claim over him when she came around. Also perhaps he could capture her as a Thrall without realizing she's a goddess and then comes to find that she's actually a massive winged lady who could crush him with one flick of her tail. He definitely wouldn't treat any Thrall he has badly, and he'd be more than willing to let her go if she expressed any wish to flee. He's not completely natural in color, but the blue and white kinda ties in because snow/sky?



Abosi is the king of the Kuta, a mercenary group of lions that used to travel the plains looking for work. They're a tough group and grew a bit too cocky for others, so a group of non-lions attacked and killed a large number of his group. They ended up joining forces with the Nchi'mahadhi, providing them protection from the group of violent non-lions while also giving them a place to find respite from the constant attacks. He's the Captain in the Nchi although the Kuta still look at him as a king. Not too sure what the plot is doing in the Nchi right now, I know it's in a transition stage, but he's an option. Also the faded areas on his pelt and mane are from age, they're not inheritable. He's an older, distinguished gent -w-



Aaaaand Jens. DEFINITELY more on the wild side for colors and markings, but he's a prince in the Frozen pride which has mountains in the area. Just figured I'd toss him in too XD

I got Chuk here from the SB. He is related to the old Warlord, and is technically royalty from an outside pride. He's bullhead, mildly borish and kind of a chauvinist for the old ways. He's on his way to being a reaver, and has his eye on god-spawn as a wife, but wouldn't mind a god for a saltwife.



Al'basteer: Raised in the Intaba'umbikezeli (those seers in the mountains *wink wink*) and currently wandering. If you're looking for someone who relates to losing their memories and not knowing where they're from, he's your boy.

He's a very quiet male. Behind the almost limitless silence is an untamed and uncultured male. He doesn't understand the development of societal norms, and reacts in ways people feel are brutish. When fighting he doesn't hold back, when trying to love he's awkward and dominating. However, he's not mean and nasty and reacts more like a confused and lost cub than an adult with wordly knowledge.

He could probably be persuaded back to the Intaba, since he left before their initial fall. And the Intaba already have at least one god in their domain (Blazas), who also serves on their council. What's the harm in there being more?

I'm not sure how well those first three would do with her considering her domineering personality. As for the two Kiza boys...I'll have to decline them for OOC reasons. Sorry. :c

For Ragnvard, I'd be game for him and his band to try and capture her if you want. ;D They could capture her, if you want, but she could return the favor and escape on their way back maybe?

Hahah, all these SB being thrown at her, maybe I should just toss her to the SB for a bit, assuming Fey would be down for that of course. Hmm, possibility to tie it with Ragnvard maybe? I dunno if I'd let her go back as a Thrall, but -maybe-. <3 I do feel it's kind of amusing at the idea of 'letting her go'. Not too sure about the other three, but maybe~?

Same kinda deal with the SB. Maybe capture, maybe not~ I dunno. I'm not sure how SF would feel being a saltwife though since she prefers to be #1, so I'd probably have to pass on that bit. As for Al'basteer, he definitely sounds interesting and if you'd like, I'd at least be willing to RP them together, see how things go. c:

Asante and Kobe are both very easy going. Asante probably more so. Since he escaped his homeland he has pretty much turned into a semi-hippy. He is happy to see where life takes him. (Oocly Ive not come up with any big plots for him so he is just floating about having fun)

It would be hilarious for Ragnvard to capture her only to have her escape. X3 He would certainly never live it down. I am totally up for that. He can take a bunch of his Reavers with him to ensure they are able to capture her.
Another idea, maybe she could have help escaping? Svana and a few of her peers would love the chance to show Ragnvard up and would certainly help SF out of his grasp.

If you do decide to send her to the SB for a little vacation Vidar would be more than happy to hang out with her XD The only gods he's met so far have tried to kill him so meeting one that's not so vengeful would be good. Even if it's not a fling/mate plot, if she goes to the SB I'd definitely like some RP with them! Get that bad taste out of his mouth XD
