 Raskogr sighed grumpily to himself. Training was taking forever, and there was so much to learn it made his head ache. Not only that but his siblings were not in the least supportive. Ragnvard considered his apprenticeship a complete waste of time. Ronan didn’t really say two words on the matter but certainly he hadn’t praised Raskogr at all and Rayn was… well, she was too young to really get it. In fact, none of them understood what he went through. He wasn’t big and strong like his elder brothers, nor driven to fight like his little sister… He just didn’t see the point in ripping a fellow lion to pieces when a guy could obtain nearly anything he desired with words just as easily, easier if you know how to use them right. And Raskogr did! He was an excellent conversationalist and had a good head for figures. He also could hold his own with most pride members in an argument, at least until it came to blows, then he was screwed.
Huffing he kicked a rock viciously with a paw, then cursed at the flair of pain that lanced up his limb. Looking up to see where the rock had gone so he could forcefully remove it from his path, he spotted the shimmery white coat of his father’s thrall.

 Zabuni had been in the pride only a little while now but she was already learning what family members she needed to stay clear of and who was safe to talk to. The Mistress, Soma, was a nice if reserved lioness who Zaf was just getting to know. Her sister on the other hand, was a lively, charming female who was always happy to chat and spend some time with her. Apparently Brenna was a bard, though Zaf had yet to work out exactly what that was.
Then there were the many children. Ronan was a silent, hard to read male. Ragnvard… frankly he scared her and she tried to stay far away from him. Raskogr was… weird. He seemed nice enough but was quick to jump to conclusions regarding how others saw him. And usually any argument was between him and Ragnvard. Rayn… she was trouble with a capitol T. Not malicious but Zaf had the feeling that if she wasn’t careful, she would make a target for Rayn when the reaver lioness was bored. A dangerous idea all around. Holmgeir was exactly as he had appeared the day he saved her. Fearless, strong, and a lion of few words. His actions spoke for him and everyone listened. He was well respected and seemed to have quite a lot of sway with the other reavers. It seemed he was of an old bloodline in the pride too. At least he had kept his promise. None of his kids, nor any of the pride were allowed to mess with her. If they did, they answered to him.
A sudden noise jolted her from her thoughts and she looked up, he rheart sinking as she spotted Raskogr. He wasn’t a bad male but… well she didn’t feel safe near him.

Raskogr frowned. What was she doing outside the den? Well, technically she had never been restricted to it but, she was his father’s thrall, she shouldn’t just be wandering about willy nilly. Turning his paws in her direction he strode up to the female, blue eyes narrowed. “Did Mother send you on an errand?” He demanded without preamble. He saw no reason to be nice to a thrall. They were servants, slaves, they did as told and never answered back. They weren’t Stormborn.
Her nervous shake of the head only irritated his already foul mood. “Then why are you out?” He asked sharply, getting ready to swot her for disobedience. Honestly, anyone would think she hadn’t been taught the right way a thrall was supposed to act.
