well even though tektek is gone gaia has made an avatar builder its on your my gaia drop down tap you use it to make dream avis. the reason tektek got shut down was because it wasn't part of gaia someone from there stole gaias ideals and was allowing some users to see other users inventory threw the use items in your inventory feature. hint to why so many people where getting hacked.

It doesn't help that Tektek had several rogue ads display semi-frequently, causing Gaia to flag as a false positive on Google's malware detection suite several times over the years. For a while it was removed from the whitelisted images because of this.
