Campus Grounds - Near Monster Dorms - Early Morning


After and entire night out on the prowl, the wolpertinger made his way back to towards the monster dorms, exhausted but back in his student form. His jacket was held draped over one shoulder, and he yawned into a fist as he sluggishly drug his thick soled boots across the campus grounds, his eye lids heavy and his ears drooping down.

He was too tired. It was too far to go. He'd stayed up far too long and now the pumpkin sun was rising and....

Mathias let out another impressive yawn, showing off long fangs as his head swiveled towards a nearby tree.

Yes, that would do. Within moments, he was at the tree's base, and was collapsing so that his back was against it, his knee's drawn up, his head bowing down to rest atop them, and his wings spreading and folding around him, warm and comfortable.

Mathias fell asleep, right out in the middle of the open campus grounds.

Early morning time. Sidron was an early riser. There was no point in wasting the day sleeping. There was...well there wasn't a whole jack of a lot to do. But he wouldn't miss something if something happened.

As he left the dorms he spotted something underneath a tree. Another student to be exact. Who...was a sleep. It seemed they hadn't made it to their dorm room. How sad. Must have been up all night. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a piece of paper and a snake pen. Scribbling on it before her walking over to the sleeping student and placing the piece of paper on one of his horns.

If anyone wandered by and saw the paper it would read. "Get a room, jerk."

Satisfied he wandered off to wherever it he was going to go for the day.

Vanya came across the familiar face; asleep in the middle of the campus grounds. She read the little message with a smirk and contemplated throwing it away - but he did have to learn not to put himself in such silly situations. She kissed the top of his head and scratched his ear before her wings took her into the skies with a woosh and the smell of perfume and the tinkle of bells. A single feather fell from her plumage and landed by his side; the only hint she was there.

Campus Grounds - Near Monster Dorms - Early Morning

Kamakura was almost essentially dragging his feet once he'd made it out of his dorms. It was so Jacking early he was exhausted. Rubbing a gloved palm against his eye he left behind the dorms, and made his way to head across the campus. Perhaps the morning air would be enough to wake up him.

However, as if to contradict his train of thought he spied some one under a tree sleeping. Pausing mid step, the boil stared for a moment wondering what had possessed them to do as such.

Noticing a piece of paper that read "Get a room, jerk" He quirked a brow making a quiet rude noise in the back of his throat as he went to start walking, trying not to laugh.

Mathias's head would jerk just slightly as the paper was stabbed onto one of his antlers, but would remain asleep. The paper would go unnoticed by the wolpertinger until further into the day, whenever he happened to see his reflection next.

For some reason, Matty had a strange nightmare about horrible harpy ghouls. When he awoke, he found the feather sitting next to him, and recognized Vanya's scent almost immediately. Slightly confused, he gathered up the feather and gently placed it in his pocket. It could join all of the other odd, collected objects in his dorm room.

It was, ultimately, the sound that Kamakura made in the back of his throat that roused the wolpertinger, his ears twitching and his head jerking up from it's resting place on his knees. Blinking several times, he cursed under his breath as he yawned and stretched his arms over his head.

A quick glance around with narrowed eyes and a frown as he searched for whatever awoke him proved fruitless as there were many students wandering around that morning. Still that didn't stop him from grumbling. "So rude, to be vaking up somvun who is sleeping." quite loudly.

The nekomata paused mid step as he was leaving behind the tree and it's sleeping inhabitant. Turning around, the demon’s brows raised at the others comment, only just barely making it out.

What he heard was accented, and had a tired note to it meaning he had to think about what the other was saying before responding. "Well, to be fair..seeing someone flopped over this early in the morning with a note stuck to their antlers isn't exactly typical." He added flatly as he crossed his arms over his chest.

Turning to face the shorter boil also required his looking down given where the other was situated. "I wasn't exactly trying to wake you." He retorted with a shrug of his shoulders.

Ah, there! The rude one! ...Except Matty was really finding it hard to be angry when he was still too tired to find any fault in what the other boil was saying.

Wait, what? Note?

Mathias's hands shot up to his antlers, searching the prongs until fingers touched paper. Ripping it off, he turned it around to read it, his face suddenly blushing furious red beneath the darker brown hues of his skin.

"You...Who...Vut...." He sputtered, claws stabbing into the paper as he crumpled it up in his hand.

"Who did this??" He demanded, pushing himself to his feet. "Did you see them? I vill be having vords vith their face and my fists." He growled.

Kamakura was glad the other didn't exactly get in his face about the actual act of waking him. It had been more of a stifled laughter after all. It was extremely peculiar and not what he'd expected to see that morning.

Shaking his head he frowned. "No, when I walked passed you all I saw was it, and you asleep. There's lots of students out and about milling." He replied dismissively. "At least you didn't walk around all jacking day with it?" Kama replied to the wolpertinger coupled with a half smile at the others growl.

"MAAAAAATTYYYYYYYYYYYY!" Came a rather sudden, very high pitched shriek.

Followed almost immediately by the Wendigo running towards him as fast as she could, arms outstretched like she wanted to either grab or tackle him. It wasn't until she saw someone else there that she skidded to a stop. So suddenly, in fact, that she fell backwards and landed heavily on her rear on the ground.

She stared at the stranger for a moment or two, droopy eyes wide like a deer in the headlights.

Then she scrambled to her feet, and ran the way she came - away from the wolpertinger and the stranger-demon.

Kamakura looked nearly as startled as the Wendigo as the high pitched shriek made the nekomata's tail fur stand on end each split tail splayed in a different direction. He'd all but literally jumped in place, looking extremely alarmed as the other then turned around and just as suddenly as she'd appeared bolted off.

Where the jack was she off too, it wasn't like he'd glared at her. Yet.

Breathing in and out slowly, the teen looked between the one she'd called 'Matty' and the fleeing student. "It's not like I'll bite..unless provoked. Anyway, you don't have to run off?" The demon raised his voice just a bit, encase she didn't hear him. Kama crossed his arms over his chest, about to back off and retreat himself to let the other return once they felt it was safer perhaps.

"Oh. Good luck with that note thing, I should get going. I think yoru culpurit was really tall..maybe a monster of some kind? They had black hair, and fairly large wings. Maybe a dragon of somekind? I thought I saw someone leaning over you but it was just as they were walking away so I dunno." The demon added with a half polite incline of his head as if to excuse himself.
