1:00 PM: [ OUTSIDE THE CREEPETERIA ]
One last task. One final thing to do before Dahlia would officially consider him her apprentice. He had to prove his creations were salable even though, in his opinion, he had done so many times before. He had told her that. She had countered, claiming that she would only take into account the accomplishments he had made after the moment he had asked her to be his mentor. Said she had no way of knowing whether or not what he had done before had actually been done by him. He supposed it was a valid argument. Irritating, but valid.
At least today was a nice day, bright and sunny despite the chill in the air. Bren's table was set up outside the creepeteria, the four things he was offering his classmates laid out in smallish piles at its edge. Small, purple vials, seeds, rocks, and pins. All relatively harmless, though he hadn't tested the liquid in the vials on those with alternate forms of vision. With any luck he could turn this chore into a bit of a controlled experiment.
Not one to waste time, the boil had brought some of his work with him. Resting on the table were a number of shiny stones, a couple of leather bands, and a length of gold wire. Every so often, Brenley would lean closer to the rocks, brushing his fingers over them and chanting under his breath. Some would glow, others would hop, but in the end they all ended up secured to one of the bands.
Quote: If you so desire, roll 1d4 when you enter here and Bren will give you the matching item below: 1: Purple water. Drinking this water will give the world a purple tinge for ten minutes.
2: Snow seeds. The plant that grows from one of these seeds will sprinkle snow from its leaves through the entirety of Twelfth October.
3: A pet rock. Upon being handled by anyone other than Brenley, this rock will claim the first word their new owner utters after they touch it as its name. Whenever its name is said by its owner thereafter, it will respond aloud with, "Yes, Mum," regardless of its owner's gender.
4: Campfire pin. When it is touched, this one inch circular pin gives off the smells, sounds, and warmth of a campfire in the forest, all without the actual fire.

Smerdle [01.00: Outside Creepateria]
As the Hunter pushed some seeds toward her, Mahlan squee-ed. "Oh oh oh! Thankies! These would be so perfect for those ghouls and undead's dorm plant. Yanno they couldn't stand heat." She said, looking around for something...oh. There was a few empty, already used cups filled with remains of spookmpkin spiced latte or whatever they named it. She cheerfully took few cups from the...uh, garbage bin and ran with it to the nearest faucet. After rinsing the remains of the drink carefully, she sliced half from those cups with her tail, at the same time scooping some of her excess sap. Putting one seed into the germinating bed, she gently blowed on the small grain, making it germinate instantly. The leaves are covered with frost, but they aren't snowing because the size was just not enough. "Thankies! Oh, would their offspring retain the enchantment?"

1:08 PM Creepateria
Anika, like most days, arrived in the creepateria in search of some food she might be able to take back as an offerings for a certain monster named Jho. (That guy was always hungry.) However, today she discovered something else to be found in the room. A table full of objects to which she had no idea what they were for. Either this guy had a strange taste in meals, or something else was going on here. Deciding on finding out, the reaper walked up and gave a curious stare. "What is all this?"

"Just some enchantments I've thrown together." He debated telling her his tale of mentorly misfortune, but decided it wasn't important. Bren pointed at each pile as he explained. "Something that will make you see purple if you drink it, seeds that bloom into a plant that snows, a rock that speaks, and a campfire pin." He managed to sound slightly bored and quite proud at the same time. "You can take one, if you'd like."
"Enchantments," Brenley said, smiling faintly at the demon he had met just recently. "They're what I do." He picked up one of the small, metal pins, holding it out. "This one is supposed to simulate a campfire, though I've never actually been camping so I'm not sure if it's terribly authentic. That one..." He gestured at the plant ghoul's new vines. "...is supposed to snow. Maybe it doesn't react well to rapid growth?" He was suddenly glad he wasn't trying to sell any of them.

Smerdle Analysis by plant expert! Hmm. Based on the Hunter's analysis, the vine was not snowing because the enchantments does not react well with rapid growth. But that brings the question; why when it's still in sprout condition, the leaves was already covered with frost? It can be made to sprout with some FEAR injection in it, so...
Looking at the few seeds left in her palm, Mahlan manipulated the extra hand from clinging on her back, squinting her eyes really, REALLY hard. The traces of enchantment can be seen on it thanks to the resonance between plants-
"Oh, so that's what's wrong. The enchantment placed on this plant was for it to grow and absorb FEAR, then making it materialize the excess FEAR as simple spell to summon snow...or something in that line; Imma not good with fancy precise work." She concluded, putting the seed back on the table "Since they're plants, if they're made to grow then these vines will focus on growing, leaving the complicated function for later when it's time to mate. Methink I can do something for eet." Mahlan said, producing more globules of sap and filled the cup again- instantly the extra 'arms' was covered in thin layer of frost.
"Mhhm. Yea, this is the best it can do. You chose unfit species as base of the spell, methink. Vines in general flourish in summer, and that makes their property of 'rapid growth' contrasted with snow's attribute of 'slowing down'. I'd say, vines like hydrangea can work better as base...or mayhaps grape will do better?"
