Having recently graduated, the demon hound was in the midst of moving his things from his dorm room from the demon dormitories to his new place in the square. It took some convincing, and a bit of back and forth with the administrative gnomes, but he had decided that getting his own - bigger - place was necessary. His new place was an open floor plan, which he liked, and it had very little walls or doors, which he preferred. However, it was much larger than the dorms which meant there was a lot of spaces to be filled. After moving the bulk of his furniture; couch, bed, kitchen stools, television, it felt empty still. Aside from making trips to the Maul to flesh out the new place, he was carrying the smaller things in boxes from one place to the other. Today, he was moving the kitchen.
Spoons, knives, pots, pans, bowls, plates, cups, extra sponges, unopened bottles of dish soap, rolls of cabinet liners, various spices and mixes, and a blender were packed up and ready to go. There was a good chance that some of the things in the boxes were also the monster's stuff... The demon eyed the fridge challenged by its presence to rid it of what was inside. Sure, he could throw away a lot of the food in there, but he could hear a voice in his head berating him for wasting food. And, to a point, he would agree that it would be an utter waste to get rid of food. Opening the fridge, he took in the contents. A few pounds of meat, a carton of milk that was still good for a few more days, two eggs left in its carton, two sticks of butter, and a few other things. Wouldn't take much to transfer these to the house... but the issue was that he did not have a fridge quite yet. That proved to be a problem. Perhaps he should plan to get one soon. Glancing over his shoulder, he actually liked the way the kitchen was here in the dorm. It felt like it was his. Oh well, time to make a new kitchen. This time, better.
With a box in hand, Uru effortlessly descended the dormitory and headed out to the quad.
