[Task] Trick or Treat: Trick (Iyari)

Iyari had fled the strangeness of the Amityville campus, only to be called right back into it. Only this time the place she was going was the human world. It would be an easy task to get FEAR this way, but it required something she didn't like in the least bit.

A costume.

She had already miserably failed with the Halloweeners to make herself a costume, yet here she was again faced with the task. Though, she had learned a trick or two after experiencing the bitter failure of matching a costume before. This time she was going to be something that matched at least.

The War mare settled on the costume of a bloodied and torn up plush suit , with metal exposed and sharp teeth, but it was terrifying, if not a little cramped. Surely this time. No one would be here to tell her if it was right or wrong, but she moved through to a suburban area with large houses.

It was always the large houses that had the most people on this sort of night, after all.

There were children here. Too many children as Iyari wandered in his outfit, which some of them ran away from and she smirked to herself inside of the suit as they parted away from her. It was too easy though. The parents, the children...

A loud whooping noise caught her attention and she noticed 4 human teenagers, 3 male and 1 female, tossing one of the pumpkins into the street, making the kids around run from them. They were loud, obnoxious and obviously jerks. That sly smirk grew a few times.

They were perfect.

As the four teenagers moved away from her she followed slowly and surely, crouching in the plush suit and moving to the nearest tree she could get too. They were howling and laughing, grabbing at candy bags and slowly making their to her. Iyari wanted to start off slow and kicked the branch under her to break it, jumping back behind the trunk of the tree.

While the girl jumped the boys laughed, and they continued on after it. We're just getting started.

They were easy to follow because of how ungodly loud they were. For now, the animatronic suit she was in worked for being dark and the padding of the feet made it easy to follow on rooftops. The kids she was following seemed to enjoy screaming at the younger ones, which made her angrier and happier that she picked them out.

As the turned a corner and moved behind one and yanked at his candy bag before disappearing into the dark.

Of course, the teenager didn't know what was going on, but was only slightly perturbed, but laughed it off a moment later.

While the boys were having their laugh, the girl was increasingly paranoid as Iyari crept around corners. She would peek out when she knew the girl was looking, the ears of the suit popping out with the eyes, then she would vanish again. The squeals and screams made her happy, as she was doing a good job so far. At least with the one. But she would have to do more now, they were starting to get closer to the urban areas. It would be a different strategy there now.

Before they could get to the threshold of the urban area, they had to cross over a bridge. It was old and crumbling on the sides, and the wood was rotting in places. They were joking about falling through and Iyari got an idea, climbing down and letting her hands out to swing under the bridge with her wings out. Near the middle she grabbed the girl's foot and yanked it and she screamed loudly.

It echoed across and Iyari hopped her way across, smirking to herself as the girl ran off, screaming about the problem and saying she was going home, though the others protested she was far from sight.

With the girl gone she could hear the groans from the boys as they continued down their path. Iyari had slunk out from under the bridge and propelled herself back into a tree, grabbing a stick and tossing it at them. While her aim was to make one of them trip, it merely clattered on the ground and the boys just laughed at it when one of them jumped. Iyari grunted and shook her head. She needed to try a different approach.

She heard the shrieks of small children as the terrorizing group moved and she quickly moved in the canopy over them, though she was running out of foliage as they neared the city again. From above, she made a low growling noise, with a loud "whooping" sound to follow, shaking the tree from above. For a moment they glanced her way, somewhat pensive but when a honking car passed by and distracted them and they moved into the city.

While she could feel the FEAR, it wasn't enough and they were still terrorizing people as they went, screaming and hooting down the street. They deserved more than just scaring, but it had been a while since she went FEAR gathering.

Moving across the asphalt in costume was easy enough, no one seemed to pay her much mind. Again, she tossed something their way but they completely ignored it. Damn. Could she just kill them instead? It seemed far easier.

At the next alley they crossed the dark alley and Iyari quickly moved into it, grabbing the nearby trashcan and tossing it directly at them. One jumped and screamed, holding tightly to a buddy and they stared into the darkness, which she made sure they could see the eyes of her costume, to which they quickly moved away from it.

The unsettling appearance of her bloodied and broken plush suit seemed to do the trick, at least for one of them. Once she moved onto the street he turned back to face her and took off running a different way. His comrades merely laughed, leaning on each other in a drunken stupor and down into the nearby mall area.

In the darkness around the mall a light flickered on and off while the two teens moved through it. Iyari moved to the light and stood as it turned on, their eyes moving to see her and one pointed, but the moment was gone and once it turned dark she moved out of sight. When it turned back on they both yelped, but moved along quickly.

At least they were finally acting scared.

As she followed she let her fake claw scratch against a window, a loud screeching noise followed which made them visibly cringe.

The scratching made them run and she quickly followed after them, making loud clicking noises with the mechanics in the suit making sure to keep up behind them.

A haunting scream let out from her body and one of the teens scrambled away quickly from the other.

"Don't leave me alone bro~!" He screamed, but the other guy was gone and the solitary prey kept moving, frenzied. It was amusing to the War mare to watch him flail around like an idiot. Just a little bit more.
