As of January 3rd, 0079, Zeon and the Earth Federation were at war. Only three seconds after that, Zeon assaulted the Federation Space Forces with deadly efficiency using their mobile suits. Zeon attempted to drop colonies onto the Earth Federation Headquarters, Jaburo, in the same month and attempted a second drop days later only to be prevented by General Revil and his fleet. Although the general was captured, he was able to escape in time to give his famous "Zeon is exhausted!" speech to the Federation before their surrender at Antarctica. Instead of surrender, negotiations brought about The Antarctic Treaty, preventing weapons of mass destruction from being used. Since the Treaty, the Zeon forces invaded the Earth and forced the Earth Federation into a stalemate over nine months. During those months, the Federation secretly began Project V to create their own mobile suits, and in September they were to be collected by the new carrier White Base. Unfortunately, they were followed by a single Musai-class ship of Zeon...

Role: Amuro Ray Name: Toshiro Yuki Age: 15 Military Status: Civilian Personality: Toshiro tends to be focused and analytical, thinking quickly and acting deliberately in combat. The young technician/pilot knows full well that going in angry and without focus can get him killed. He is not emotionless or immune to distraction and outburst, however. He regards loss of life heavily and more acutely than others from Side 7, being a survivor of Side 2. Biography: Born in U.C. 0064 in Side 3, Toshiro is the son of a Lunarian jack-of-all-trades father named Daisuke Yuki and a Zeon military officer and engineer named Erika Yuki (neé Arnoul). His early life was spent at Side 3 during the Repiblic of Zeon era, though he often spent time with his father at Granada while his mother worked on assorted projects. During this relatively peaceful period, he enjoyed dual citizenship because his father was a Federation Citizen and Granada was still a Federation-controlled city at the time. In 0068, with the assassination of Zeon Zum Deikun and the rise of the Principality of Zeon, Toshiro lived almost exclusively with his father due to the increased workload his mother was subjected to during the military buildup. Erika worked on assorted Zeon's SUIT project and later the MS-05A and B variants of the Zaku I, so she did not have much time for her son through the early 0070s. Toshiro was raised by his father and often went on outings salvaging satellites and doing odd jobs in space with him. Unfortunately, Erika would note the development of prototype Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical weapons for the Zaku line and become convinced that the Zabi family planned for the machines to be used for assault rather than defense. She would defect to the Earth Federation formally on October 5, 0075 and provide information on the Zaku I. Toshiro and Daisuke moved away from Granada to Side 2 in an effort to avoid retaliation from the strong Zeon presence, and Daisuke got a job in colony maintenance. Though welcomed formally to the Federation, Erika's warnings would fall on deaf ears until January 3, 0079 in favor of upgrading battleships via the already established “Year 70 Armament Reinforcement Plan”. During this time, Toshiro would receive a technical education as well as ample training by his father in the use of the SP-W03 Mobile Pod. He would spend more time with his mother than at any point after 0068. He was fascinated with the data his mother had on the Mobile Suit and studied it with passion and fascination. When war broke out on January 3, 0079, Toshiro and Daisuke were adjusting the mirrors on one of the colonies' panels. Narrowly avoiding death, the pair looked on in horror as the bulk of the side was lost. Only by fleeing to one of the abandoned Island 1 construction colonies left over from Side 2's construction were they able to survive until Toshiro's mother came looking for them, having survived the initial attack. Several Zaku I wrecks were recovered as well, having been shot down by fighters while carrying bulky and unwieldy colony gassing equipment. Toshiro had never before experienced war or death, the adolescent just as shaken as any other survivor of the attack. He spent two months having nightmares after the event, waking up in cold sweats and seeing the darker side of Mobile Suits haunt his nightmares. His mother would not be present during this time, having been recalled to work on the RRf-06 Zanny in the wake of the disaster. Her involvement, however, gave the family the ability to relocate to Side 7 rather than becoming refugees at Side 6 or the Lunar Cities. His father got a job aiding with the colony's construction. Eventually, Toshiro found that he didn't dislike Mobile Suits for what happened, but people...specifically the Zabi regime which his mother had long suspected of being capable of such action. He would attend an engineering school and get high marks, while continuing to study his mother's work and assist his father. Though a civilian, he would be permitted to spend time in the simulator and even assist his mother in her work on the low-budget Zanny project, which was largely a laughable endeavor compared to the later Project V. Due to the initial hesitation to use combat pilots in the program, Toshiro even logged flight hours in the RRf-06 Zanny. When Project V was started, however, this all changed and he was shuffled away from his mother's programs – the Federation having gotten more serious about the efforts. He lived life peacefully until September 0079, when the war finally reached the remote colony... Appearance:

Role: Bright Noa Name: Akira Orion Age: 20 Military Status: EFF Military Personality: Akira is a loyal and dedicated soldier both in war and peace. He enforces strict military discipline and regulations, yet he never hesitates to make the morally right decision for the better of all, even if he has to disobey orders from his superiors. Biography: Born in Hong-Kong, Akira was the child of an EF soldier, and was raised wanting to be a part of the Federation's army. When the war started, Akira saw his chance and joined although the war turned to a stalemate by the time he was assigned to a crew. Assigned to the White Base as a junior line officer, Akira hoped he wouldn't be facing the tragedies of war on board the new warship. Appearance:

This is first-come-first-serve, and some profiles may be rejected. -The Federation has the Ball as a mobile weapon, but they are at the same position as in the anime. -Mobile suit technology will remain greatly the same, but more MS-X variants will appear throughout the story. -The White Base will receive RGM-79's as well as other support mobile weapons along the story other than just the Guncannon, Guntank and Gundam.
