CYOA: Navigate the Maize Maze HERE

Amityville was surrounded by heavy celebrating atmosphere, every single breathe was rich in scent of pumpkins and spices. Not only the communal kitchen was filled with amazing flavours, the area outside was drifting with a weak pleasant smell as well. The boil stretched and folded his apron, after putting the experimental treats into the oven, he decided to go for a walk as short break.

The campus was well decorated with pumpkins everywhere, he loitered around with the tail head and touched the decorations and glitters. He did pick up a costume in the town and dressed up, eventually, he left the inner part of the campus and spotted a large field of maizes. He stopped by to take a look of it.

From his position, he couldn't see what was going on inside. The walls and walls of tall maizes completely blocked his sight. He was informed that it costed no charge to get in and if he was lucky, he would find treasure at the centre of the maze. Hearing the word, the tail head's eye glowed with interest. AJ shrugged and cracked a smile at the attractive funny warnings, the tail head sniffed and reported excitedly it had a lovable scent. It licked on one of the boards and made an unhappy face at the tastelessness. AJ chuckled loudly, put his head on top of head. "Bro, those boards doesn't taste like what they smell of."

He wanted to pry from a student ran off the maze what they had seen, however they were too flustered and scared to be asked of. On his way towards the maze, he heard screams going up and down, it won't stop him from getting inside. The maze was less excited than it seemed, but soon he came to a fork. Without thinking, he turned to the left.

Turning to the left hand side, the path was narrow and on both of his sides stood a man's tall maizes. Head didn't waste the great free foods and snapped onto the corns it discovered, what a profuse maize buffet for it. It dropped a grateful tear, touched by what the gnomes did.

AJ picked a leave on his way, there was another crossroad he came across, ahead he heard a weak wail. It was so sad that he felt a chill sent down along his spine. The serpent dragon however wasn't afraid and with hands in pockets, he walked forward.

Down the path was narrow and straight, therefore, AJ could spot the boil easily. He walked past him and stopped to peek at the boil. He was crying, his tears were like two rivers that never cease running. He bent to ask why he was crying, but he didn't give any reply but wailed louder. AJ didn't give up and attempted his friendliest and gentlest smile to the boil. Similarly, the boil didn't answer but cried louder and louder.

Head was annoyed by the noise and raised its request for the boil to stop, the boil even opened his mouth to wail. Helplessly sighed, AJ left the boil and walked forward, hoping to seek someone that might help the boil.

Unfortunately, he didn't meet anyone but further and further away, he found the crying stopped. He turned back and unable to see the boil. Shortly, his attention was caught by the sound of what supposed to be from a running stream. He soon knew his guess was wrong. Instead, it was an artificial pond.

A cup was placed in the centre of the pond, the sign stood next to the pond requested those who read it to finish what was in the cup. AJ took a skeptical stare at the liquid inside the pond, it seemed like colorless water but would he confirm? No.

Pondering whether to risk he noticed the sword and the platform for it to stand in the pond. Decided not to take a meaningless risk, he picked up the sword, waded into the pond and inserted it into the slot.

Like every adventure tale, a brand new path appeared with a gust of wind. AJ's lips curved at the corner as he walked down the path which led him to two gates. One was rusted and falling apart, one side of the gates only hung barely by a rusty screw on a hinge. Turning his head to another side, it stood a new shiny gate, intact and firm.

The silver haired boil paused, eyes traveled between the two gates. What do they tell him? A depreciated gate reflected how frequent it was used or it means the place behind it was abandoned? Oh the other hand, whether the new gate meant it shouldn't be visited or something else was also an unknown. He needed to take a gamble and he trusted his instincts on choosing the old gate.

Even almost fell out, the gate stood against his push. Unable to get through by pushing, he kicked in. "AJ, the gate's broken now." The head said, after one side made a thudding sound. "That's alright, Bro. Unless someone sees it."

In front of him was a gnome on a yellow toilet, they asked a the boil a riddle. "Goos?" AJ wondered if he was mentioning some sticky substances but would a riddle be that easy? He mused, thought of what might be hidden hint to it. Standing couldn't help with thinking, noticing a toilet, he sat on it obliviously and continued his thinking. "Jack! What-" The toilet was alive and hit him for being rude.

-> You think hard on it. Really hard. Noticing another toilet to sit on you do so. Suddenly it hits you.

After being hit, AJ finally gave his answer. The gnome and those who appeared later were not happy with his answer, yet, they were too busy to angry to notice he sneaked away. "Happy Halloween," whispered the mischievous boil. Away from the gnomes, he was stopped by another riddle. "'When is a raven like a writing desk?" He was baffled and next to the sign of riddle were two buttons.

It was supposed to be an open ended question, because he heard it in that dream of wonderland. He randomly picked the one written with "yes" to smash.

-> YES

The next moment he fisted the button, there were party poppers going off and he found himself at the centre of the giant maize maze. "Hmm, that's it?" He picked up the candy shaped like an ear. Not knowing what to do with the treasure, the boil turned it around and examined it further. Smelling it should be edible, the tail head stole it from AJ's hand and devoured it.
