This Halloween Day never seemed to end, and while normally that was good, Piper was a little tired of having to rove the Haunted House so much. She couldn't remember the last time she'd had to exert so much energy to do all the things, it had been so long--and the most intensive things she'd ever done, like Wonderland and the Knights, had all been dreams or hallucinations or whatever you wanted to call it.

Was she out of shape, or was she just trying to do too much? Probably the latter (no way was her body anything less than a fighting machine beauty queen thank you), but it wasn't going to stop her now. Hearing the scuffling tell-tale signs of a monster about to approach, Piper braced herself for yet another bout with the batty bat batterson--but that wasn't what turned the corner.

Instead, she was greeted by a rather lively looking hat. It could have popped off a witch's head for all she knew.

Except this one, like everything else, was intent on ruining her day. SIGH.

Danny was also at the gym for nearly the same reason as Piper, with a little alteration. Being a full fledged member of Halloween, Danny didn't have much time to run around as she used to (which was a bad thing- she was going to have to talk to Rikki about this). That meant she had to find quick, cheap ways to work out and that meant the Amityville gym.

Thankfully Danny had a fast enough metabolism (fire just burned those calories up hehehe) and an active enough lifestyle to not need it often, but she did occasionally come back to the gym to keep up.

Oh- it was the ghoul with the poofy hair! What a coincidence she was here too. Danny (accidentally) followed her, mostly because she still wanted to light that hair on fire. By the time they were in the same room, Danny hadn't even realized she'd walked there. Oops.

Then a hat on a rack came to life and a battle was ensuing. Oh! She could help with that. She was good at fighting aberrant creatures like this. She certainly had enough experience doing it anyways.

"I got you!" Danny yelled, smashing into the fight with her flaming fists.

And ... then the hat floated off to another ghoul.

"Hey!" Danny called to the enchanted object, "Stay put! It's not fair if you move!"

Oh look, there was a familiar face. One who looked very...eager to wield fire. Well then. Piper made sure to stay a little away just in case and fired off some fire blasts of her own, as she didn't want to accidentally put the other ghoul's out with water or wind.

Woah! This ghoul had fire too? Danny's grin went from it's normal wide to obnoxiously wide. "Nice!" she called at the ghoul. Even if she missed, she had fire and that was an infinite step above most reapers.

Then Danny remember they were actually in a fight and she had things to do. Like stop the hat from causing more havoc.

She was fast enough to get her hands around it, and then torched the thing up in one fell swoop. It made a hollow shrieking noise, but Danny was quite used to those.

Then she really got into it. Hot damn, literally.

Piper took her prize and snuck out before she pyromaniac got any ideas.

Then an angry witch came over, demanding that they tell her where her hat had gone.

"Uh ... it was attacking people ... so I lit it on fire ..." Danny held up the ashy remains of the creature for the witch to see.

That made the witch turn a new shade of red with anger, and a lot of shrieking ensued. "Maybe we should ... get out of here ..." she whispered to Piper. Less damage that way.
