I don't think seed was a horrible anime but.... I don't think it desired destiny at all. Pretty much the same repeat of events, not much new for technology or conflict, hell our new protagonist got replaced during the climax with kira (talk about anticlimactic). The story originally showed no signs of that, so it was imo a quick decision by sunrise/morosawa(writer) that didn't do well for a good story. What can I say, I'm an anti-seedling, despite its use as a gateway anime to gundam for me.
I admit the story line kinda didn't make sense, but overall I would like a season 3. Long live Gundam! |

But a gateway doesn't need three seasons, or even two. I didn't learn about destiny 'til half a year after watching SEED. Even then, I was busy watching what I could find of 00. |

Yep, draw them out by not providing enough information (especially in a gundam show) will cause them to leave out of confusion. |
