Do ya dig it?Mission to get fossil Pokemon.
Pokemon have existed on this Earth for millions of years, longer than even humans have. As such history has been many different species of Pokemon come and go. We are unsure exactly how many Pokemon species that existed through out time, and perhaps we'll never know. We have discovered however several different types of fossil Pokemon through out the regions. But one particularly region is simply fascinating when it comes to ancient Pokemon, and that's Kalos.
Glittering Cave is a Paleontologist's dream, fossils of Pokemon thought to have only existed in certain parts of the world have been discovered there. Dome, Helix, Claw, Root, Skull, Armor, Cover, Plume, Jaw, Sail, and Old Amber can all be found in Glittering Cave. They aren't sure why Glittering Cave is so unique and they might never. Either way, if you want to dig up a fossil of your own this is the place to go. Head to Glittering Cave and be sure to bring a Pokemon to help you dig for fossils. It might take you awhile to find even a piece of one but don't give up.
I must warn you however. There is a group of dinosaur fanatics that got booted from the Pokemon Lab in Kanto for their erratic behavior. They think they should revive as many fossil Pokemon as they can and unleash them on the Earth in order to bring back the age of dinosaurs. These crazy ex-Paleontologists formed a small group which call themselves Team Eolith. I have information that Team Eolith is hanging out in Glittering Cave and stealing any fossil dug up. Be careful of them.

Allen audibly groaned from the outside of the outside of the Glittering Cave. "I can't believe they would stoop so low." He said as he reread the email on his SNAG. Actually, he could believe that they would blackmail him into seeing them. They were his parents after all. A couple of smug science types with brains like super computers. How he was their son was the real mystery. The seventeen year old pocketed his communication device and sent out Zest, the only Pokemon that they actually knew about.
"
Honestly I could never even wrap myself around dad's side of the family with their obsession with being type specialists. Friggin rock type trainer on an island? Really? If that wasn't enough, they wanted me studying Pokemon Mansion's poison types for a whole summer." That was when he had ran away. Allen's parents were constantly trying to send him to things like space camp and enrolling him in things like band. Not that band geeks were bad or anything, he just didn't like having his future mapped out by them. Thankfully the world of Pokemon enabled children into leaving their homes as young as age ten! He hadn't seen either parent since he had been given an egg by uncle Barry and ran off on a very stolen speedboat.
Well. Enough nostalgia. They had found Snagem and had plenty of baby pictures. When he asked GRAY if he could help him, the AI responded with a flat no. Because apparently, deleting those photos would be an act against whatever meatbags prayed to. Allen walked into the cave with more than a little hesitation. Even if it was perfectly lit, what was the point in digging in dirt again? There was a mission here, though it was on the sidelines for now. His hopeless battle against his doting parents took priority here.
Maybe Steve would have a bit of an advantage of a cave, but he didn't want them knowing anything more than they needed to. It had been nearly a year since he had ran away to join a baller vigilante team and, even though he hadn't made much progress, it was nice to be a part of a team.
"Hello?" Allen asked, his voice echoing down the various paths of the cave. He kept to the left, something he had read up on before coming here. Just stick to one wall and you'll never get lost. That was, unless there were caves going in EVERY direction. But if he got that far, he'd just call up a familiar Claydol to teleport him away.
