Kanto Cup
Come one, come all to participate in our first tourney of 2016, the Kanto Cup! We're kicking it a bit old school for this one, and it's a way for us to celebrate the series anniversary! The tourney begins on May 14th, and signups will go on from now until then. The format and rules can be found below, so give them a quick look before plunging in.

Battle Format:
Single Battle, Normal Battle rules, Six (6) Pokémon per team. X, Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire may be used to participate. Bracket is Double Elimination.

Rules:
1. Only Pokémon from the Kanto Pokédex may be used, or 001-149 in the National Dex. Mewtwo and Mew may not be used.
2. Held Items are allowed, but no more than two of the same item may be used. Furthermore, in keeping with the theme apart from items, Mega Stones may not be used.
3. No two of the same Pokémon species may be used.
4. Hacked or otherwise altered Pokémon outside of the game's normal means is strictly forbidden. Anyone found out to be using such Pokémon will be disqualified from the tourney at once, as well as all future tourneys.
5. Any player also automatically loses if they knock out their last Pokémon through the moves Self-Destruct, Explosion, Destiny Bond or Perish Song, even if the opponent's last Pokémon is also knocked out.
6. Have fun, be a good sport, and play by the rules set forth.
