Even through water, Inka's footsteps were silent. "There are more to politics than pure power. Shirai." Inka whispered, standing next to his very recent 'sparring' partner. He was facing dead ahead, past the Anbu guard's shoulder. "And I have a reputation for many things." His voice was cold, hard, and private for only the Anbu and Takeda's ears to hear. The Mizukage was fiddling with his collar - righting it into a crisp, respectable position. "Our spar was useful for me. In more ways that you know. However," Inka's hands dropped, and eyes finally turned to reveal their dark, red depths to the Genin. "Do not ever threaten a fellow shinobi again" The warning was clear. "You take advantage of your teammate's presence, and your arrogance is unneccessary. Fix your attitude, or you can leave Kirigakure."

Scratch that supposed exit of the arena. Takeda didn't get very far before being stopped by a masked ANBU, and by extension, Kagerou found herself stopping when she saw the sight. From behind her, the Mizukage walked up to Takeda and shared some words with him that she could not hear.
Kagerou decided, It didn't feel right for her to just abandon Takeda like this, but it was also the best choice she could come up with. After a little bit more hesitating, Kagerou walked around Takeda and Inka to some spot further up the path that would lead in the best direction to reach the Mizukage's office. She wanted to wait for him. Except on second thought, maybe that wasn't the best idea. He might prefer having time to think... Yes, and this way, she can get all of their paperwork done so that they could get the mission done faster. That would probably also be in Takeda's favor. He still had that accent, it was possible reading was a bit of a pain for him, and he just seemed to be craving for action of some sort...

All medical jutsu are still learnable by both sides, but the chakra control only applies to the chosen side.

Calling him arrogant and telling him to fix his attitude was even to be expected, given the man didn't know anything about the Jiongu he was talking to other than what he read. Telling him that he was taking advantage of the presence of a teammate wasn't okay. "Yeah. I'm sure taking advantage of the people who interrupted me in the first place....and arrogance. Gotta be ******** kidding me." He muttered the last words in a low, hard to hear tone before sucking in another breath. "Why don't you stop making things out to be more than they are, Godaime-dono? You told me we'd be having a fight then you stopped it early. More people started getting involved and shoving their hands into my business. I'm pissed. Was I supposed to politely tell flower power over there to not do that again next time? I...look-" His head raised, eyes back to their normal state. Dark green sclera with gold hues centered. There was more...frustration and stress peeking through his features than flat out anger.
"I've been the bad guy since I got here, Hizara. I try to protect my teammates and I get put into a genjutsu by one of them that hospitalizes me for a month. I get strange looks every day. I'm reminded all the time that I'm not like the rest of you. The only person who could see past it all, or just decided to get out of his own head enough to look at me is dead now. Now day ******** one out of the hospital it's back to the same story. again. I may as well be invisible." His words obviously weren't pleasant, but he wasn't seething. Takeda's entire form shuddered for a moment before he swallowed, continuing. "Before you think of why I threatened him, did you think of why he stopped me in the first place? Did I really look that injured? Did you look like you were in real danger? Did I look like some feral dog about to lose his mind? If I had less tendrils and a normal body, would my situation have been read as just strong determination or a loss of control? You lost sight of things then threatened to put me back in the hospital and I got ticked. I said words with that anger. Now I'm arrogant, huh? Fine" His eyes all but burned holes through the ANBU in front of him, wanting him out the way. The Jiongu wanted to just go. "I'm not changing just because you can't look past yourself, just like everyone else. If I'm going to continue being punished for doing nothing wrong, I'll be happy to leave. After sixteen years, I'm pretty sure the only ones who can see me are family and someone just as different." He often felt like a museum or zoo attraction. Everyone saw him as something more or less than the sum of his parts and drew their own assumptions on who he was, what he could be, and what his next move was. Inka wasn't the first, he wouldn't be the last. All he wanted was a fight, but apparently something so simple was too much to ask for. Takeda Shirai was the bad guy again. "I'm not sorry for anything I've said or done. Far as I'm concerned, I've done nothing wrong. Can I go collect my mission now, or should I be heading to the gates instead? I don't have anything I need to pack if that's the case."

Shinobi and... overly loyal subjects to the Daimyo, even some of the council of elders that I answer to - they would love some meat to drop at their master's feet and have me removed. You, speaking against me publically. Threatening to injure a comrade. I cannot allow it, Takeda Shirai. I will not have this village ruled by a boot-licker because I let you off without proper reprimand. And I cannot trust you to keep your fellows safe when you take my position in deciding and dealing punshiment. Severin will be spoken to. Anything beyond that, is not your concern." Taylor hopped up from her spot and cracked her knuckles. She walked to the middle of the field as she cracked the other side and lifted her eyes to a level plane. "Taylor Aburame. Accepting all challengers. This will be my first time in the arena but I feel I'm ready." She said, just loud enough to be heard.
