Fell was a dainty thing (barely to even Algie's bicep in height) and well proportioned and her dress was a lovely compliment to Adze's attire (as she had planned it so). She looked deceptively young for a corpse, one a warm brown and the other black as pitch. Fell did not seem to care about her appearance, the fresh from the grave look was all the rage.
"Adze," she whispered, eyes cutting towards the pair as they came close, "they're here." As if they had been expecting them.
Jeremiah's posture was stiff, his fingers still tangled with Algie's and not letting go. He was keeping a hold of him because Adze was still a sore point with him. Fell did not seem at all bothered and slipped to the ground easily. She curtseyed first to Jeremiah and then to Algie.
"Welcome," she said, straightening up, "we've been waiting for you. I am Fell, Professor. It's a pleasure to meet the man who is husband to the Constable."

Jeremiah shook his head. "I've no idea," he murmured back. It was certainly better than being called Lord or my Lord or some other title he had no desire for. The taller man blinked as Adze spoke but unlike Algie who responded to Fell, he merely gave the other fetch a curt nod of his head in acknowledgement.
No, he was not quite alright with Adze. Especially when it seemed as if he was actually pleased to have them there.
"It's as Adze says," Fell spoke up, though she was giving the other fetch a quick look that said stop it, you're creeping him out. Not that she expected him to. "An honor. We've cleaned up this for you. Hopefully it's to your liking," she made a gesture towards the room in general, the floor to ceiling bookshelves, "as this is yours."

Fell shifted on her barefeet, giving Adze an odd smile as her own hands were clasped in front of her, fingers locked together. She gave Algie a smile, head bowing once more.
"It's meant to be an open space for the two of you to put to use. Whether that is to do as we did," to dance, "or otherwise is up to you. I have seen you dance, you two move quite wonderfully together."
The silver-haired man was fine, even if his fingers twined with Algie's betrayed a touch of uneasiness it did not show whatsoever on his face. "... and what would we do with this space? I was not aware that there is much going on right now with the Court."
"That can change," she replied. "There may be times when you will need to host something within your domain, house guests, or have a space to oversee matters that have been brought to your attention and must be handled." Her mismatched eyes flicked between the two of them.
"We would like to see the Mercer name hold great meaning within the Court."

Alg approached the chair, fingers tapping the wood arms before he settled into it a bit awkwardly. He wasn't, still, quite used to being the center of attention. But this was his role and it was easy enough to wear the mask of the noble he was growing into.
Adze disappeared into the small room and returned with an owl. Algie had been expecting some sort of large owl monster, but instead what they got was a bird that barely came up to the fetches knees, a chubby looking feathery ball with large eyes behind a pair of spectacles. It shuffled across the floor and only upon closer inspection did it seem even remotely supernatural in the dainty accessories it wore and the way it's eyes seemed to leave trails when it moved.
The owl reverberated with a sound that seemed to simply come from it's body, "Nobles of the court.." Mr. Owl didn't exactly have the most pleasing of voices, "First a congratulations," it's beak clacked lightly, "on your positions."

Jeremiah settled into his chair, posture shifting and straightening. He wore his title of Noble of the Court well and acted as such. Their chairs were right next to one another, side by side, and Jeremiah did not even think twice about holding his hand out for Algie to once more hold.
Together.
With them settled and Mr. Owl brought forth, Fell was slipping out of the room only to return with a tray of tea that she set down and began to prepare for each of them. Jeremiah's focus was on the otherbeing, his head inclining slightly at the congratulations.
"Thank you," he replied, blue-green eyes glowing brightly, "but I doubt you came to see us just to give us congratulations." Clearly Jeremiah was one of those people that preferred they got down to business. Niceties were not a necessity and, in most case, empty.
