[DRP] Braving The Spoopy House [Juniper]

ROOM ONE
FEAR: 3/18


With the Halloween season on top of them, Haunted House events had begun to pop up all over. Some were targeted towards kids and much more family oriented while others were created for those scare freaks, the ones who couldn't get enough of being scared shitless. Juniper was a middle of the road kind of person when it came to such events. She enjoyed being scared but didn't thrive on it, so when she heard about this particular haunted house she jumped at the chance to check it out.

With some of her busking money in hand, she paid for her entrance and stepped into the first area. The long hallway wasn't what she had expected, but she traipsed down it carefully. It opened up into a room with a table which she caught sight of just before the lights flickered off and then back on. When she turned at the creaking of a door, she came face to face with a teeth baring clown!

She jumped and yelped a bit at the surprise before laughing at herself and continuing on.

ROOM TWO
FEAR: 7/18


Stepping into the next room, Juniper was quickly creeped out by the waxed figures. They always looked so freaking real and like they were staring into your soul no matter where in the room you sat. Plus, toss into the fact that they were probably set up to talk about politics, if the TV was any indication, and Juniper was ready to move onto the next part of the house.

The flickering light of the TV did a pretty good job of masking the movement of a door opening to her left. So when she turned to use the door to leave she came face to face with a bright, red eyed scarecrow with one of the most obnoxious and shiver inducing laughs she'd heard in along a** time. "Jesus!" She cursed as she stepped back. The scarecrow continued to laugh and it began to feel like it was laughing at her.

Scoping out the sides of the room, another flash of lightning helping to light the room, Juniper caught sight of another door that look fairly well concealed and, upon opening, discovered it was her exit to the next room.

ROOM THREE
FEAR: 11/18


Entering the next room Juniper had to keep herself from laughing. A bunch of people, draped in ghostly costumes, were lounging about or doing their own thing. It looked like a tame frat party where everyone had missed the memo to not dress likes ghosts. The fact that they seemed uninterested in her was even more amusing to the blonde.

She made a point to watch a few of them, pausing only a moment here and there. It wasn't until she found the ghost that looked like it was up to something more than just, chilling under it's sheet, that she literally laughed aloud.

Whatever the kid under the sheet had been doing, he stopped and lifted a cloth clad hand and...was it pointing behind her? Not thinking twice about it she turned around and "s**t!" The damn scarecrow had followed her into this room and was practically right on top of her, laughing.

Juniper was probably making the actors night by being startled not once, but twice by him now.

ROOM FOUR
FEAR: 15/18


Stepping out of the ghost room, Juniper found herself outside in a garden. Fog rolled around her while the moon shone down from above. It was actually a very pretty scene. If you could ignore the skeletal forms sitting on a bench.

Standing there looking at the skeletons she began to make up a story for them. Had they been lovers who died in each others arms? Maybe two conspiritors who had been found out and killed mid conversation? The possibilities were endless, and Juniper was enjoying making up the stories for her own amusement.

She was so caught up in her thoughts that she wasn't paying attention to the skeletons. Not until she heard the sound of bones. Brows furrowed she looked at them, they were pointing towards something. Possibly the exit?

Turning, Juniper was not at all prepared to literally run into the Scarecrow AGAIN! She yelped and swatted at it. "God! Go scare someone else already!" She huffed as she hurried towards the exit, the laughter of the scarecrow following her.

ROOM FIVE
FEAR: 21/18 RUN AWAY!!!


Stepping into the next room, Juniper was met with...nothing. Well...nothing besides the sound of music, people talking and complete darkness. She bit her lower lip, but stepped into the room carefully. Arms waved in front of and alongside of her, groping for some sort pf item that she could use to direct herself, but she touched nothing.

"What the hell?" She mumbled to herself as she kept moving along. The whole sensation of not knowing where she was in the room and having her sense of hearing overwhelmed by all the sounds, was getting to be a bit too much for Juniper.

Thankfully, as if someone was taking pity on her, a light turned on, after a heart jolting siren goes off, highlighting the exit. HA! Had she made it through?!

She hurried towards the exit when she felt something grab her from behind. "I swear to go if it's that damn scarecrow again!" She turned but is met with nothing but her own shadow which grows and morphs into something she had never before seen. With a yell she bolted for the exit, wanting out of the haunted house NOW whether she was in the last room or not!
