xxxNeeds Crew Review Waiting Listxxx
As you may have noticed, Hogsmeade's set up is a little different from every where else in Hogwarts and Ministry of Magic. As such, things here work slightly differently.
This subforum houses mod-created profile threads for all the Hogsmeade Shops*. All employee profiles, owner and assistant alike, will be posted to these threads. Since the threads are not being posted by the shop owner, owners who are not on crew have no ability to edit titles to indicate that things have changed and need to be checked over. Instead, guild members are required to post here to request new profiles and updates to existing profiles be checked over.
Post here for the following reasons:
- A new profile posted to an employee profile thread (please specify which shop and if the profile is for an owner or an employee) -
- Any updates to a profile that require approval, such as but not limited to: Personality, backstory, changes in strengths and weaknesses, etc -
- You wish to apply to create a non-canon shop (see below information)
You do NOT need to post here for the following things:
- Updates to things like age, sexuality, pets, etc -
Who to quote:
If you are posting a new shop owner profile: No one. A crewmember will check this thread regularly to look for these posts.
If you are posting a new employee profile: The shop owner, so they may state their approval of your profile before it is looked over by a crewmember.
If you are replying to a new employee profile: The original post by the employee. Do not quote a crewmember, as they should be checking this thread regularly to look for these posts.
If you are firing an employee: The employee, and the Hogsmeade Shops Manager
If you are quitting your job: The owner, and the Hogsmeade Shops Manager
If you are letting go of a shop you own: The Hogsmeade Shops Manager

* Except for user-created threads posted by the owners of certain shops, which have been grandfathered into the new system
Application for Non-Canon Shops
In order to become the owner of a Non-Canon Shop in Hogsmeade, you first need approval for the shop itself. Please note that if you are applying for a certain type of shop when there is already a NPC-Owned Shop of the same type, you will be told to instead become owner of that shop. If all the Canon Shops similar to the one you wish to create are taken, but there are an overabundance of them (such as pubs/restaurants), you will need to include why your specific shop is unique enough to warrant being made in the Oh yes, there's something else I need to tell you! section of the application below.
In order to start this process, fill out the application and post it to this thread. The Hogsmeade Shops Manager will look over your request. If it is approved, a mod-created employee profile thread will be posted, and you will be notified that you may post your profile.
