Healing wounds was a difficult matter for the War horseman. While she could stitch herself up and ignore the pain, the slow recovery annoyed her since she wouldn't be able to train. Rather than succumb to the hours laying in her tent, she decided to roam the area near the tower before she settled into the trunk of a gnarled tree, under the shade of the tower.

Slowly, the dull ache of the wound on her stomach faded and she leaned back against the tree, moving her wings out as the position of the light changed, feeling relaxed against the warmth coming to her wings. It was hard to think that only hours ago she'd returned from fighting another Hunter. And failing again.... Pleasant, it wasn't. Slowly the chieftain left her thoughts, thinking back to the islands again. Peace filled her mind and she felt utterly disconnected again.

Rare as it was, she felt peaceful as she balanced herself on the high branch, closing her eyes and humming a soft war tune, though it sounded much more like a lullaby without the accompanying drums. Relaxed and content as she could be, Iyari let her mind grow quiet, not even aware of her surroundings for the moment being.

Nirva was perched on the edge of the tower, one of the many openings far above where only those blessed with wings and the insanity to dare trying to fly into their keep would reach. She watched as a lone war horsemen seemed to stumble from the tower and into the trees shaded above it. Curiously she spread her wings tumbling from the balcony swooping downward.

There was a few circling passes before she landed in a tree near by the War horsemen. There was the faint sloshing of a water skin as Nirva tipped it pack sipping the tea she kept inside as she crept down through the branches.

"You know, there are priestesses who could heal those wounds, even slaves and elixirs that could ease your pain. Even a warm tea." To the last part she held the skin down by the straps dangling above the other horsemen.

Iyari had become so settled, so quiet that she didn't hear the movement of the others' wings as they approached, nor the creaking of the branch of the tree she landed on. "!" Her eyes shot open at the words and she became quickly unbalanced, grabbing for a branch but there was a sharp, deep pain in her side and she felt herself falling, even her wings were too unstable as she fell.

"Oof!" She hit a branch. "Ah!" She hit another.

Several noises followed as she slid down through the trees, hitting branches until she fell at the bottom, her wings crumpled into her body and she glared back at the tree, but mostly felt a bruised pride. Until the other pain settled in and she hissed angrily, unable to move from her position. "Who's there?" She called, coughing once or twice, but the pain at her side nagged at her to not move yet. She couldn't tell who it was, the voice wasn't familiar at all.

What a great first impression I'm making... damn.

AND THEN SHE FELL!

Nivra could only wince, groan, and avert her gaze between the sounds Iyari made as she fell out the tree. Bouncing and banging off each limb till she finally collapsed in an undignified pile of twisted limbs and wings.

With much more grace Nirva jumped from branch to branch before finally taking a leisurely drop from the branches letting her wings carry her down with only a few beats to keep her stable.

"You're luck the tree's here are short compared to the ones War usually favors. A fall from one of those would likely have you in even worse shape." She offered the skin again, "Drink, it'll at least be something to focus on instead of the pain."

The pain was still sharp and she gasped a bit, looking at the other horsewoman with some skepticism, but with a grunt she relented to taking the skin to drink from it. With a few coughs she drank a bit, handing it back and she let out another gasp. The taste wasn't like she was used to, some sort of tea she figured.

"Suppose I'm lucky I wasn't more ambitious about my leisure spot." Iyari shook her head and glanced back at the other horseman. She looked different from what she was used too, it took her a few moments. "Well, I'm Iyari of War." She started, slowly sitting up and letting out another soft hiss of pain, grasping her side. Damn that Hunter. She cursed under her breath, though also to herself that she hadn't yet given herself time to rest.

And now needed help. "Who do I have to thank then...?"

Nirva stood above the war horsemen now, watching as she coughed between drags of tea, she'd be okay, but she wasn't going to be happy about it surely given how poor she already looked. It baffled her why war chose to ware such little armor, it really made it all the easier to get hurt.

"Indeed you are, you could have made this far worse for yourself." Reaching down she took the waterskin (teaskin?) back before removing her helmet to reveal her face proper, "You can thank Nirva Sen of the Death tribe. Though you really should go thank a healer more then me. Why haven't you paid one a visit?"

"Nirva... nice to meet you." She grunted, the corners of her mouth curling to a smirk when asked about the healer and she stood straight, her feathers fluffing up a bit. She hadn't met many, if any from the Death and glanced her over again, sizing her up. Though if she'd learned anything from any encounter it was that she couldn't judge from looks alone.

"A healer..." She repeated and shook her head. "It's just a flesh wound, nothing to worry them over." Nor not enough to be scolded over... It was both refreshing and obnoxious that that despite her role and upgrade in rank, they still treated her just like she had always been treated. Slowly, the war mare moved her arms out to stretch and she looked back to the death mare with a smirk.

"It's clear I was out here seeking some time in the trees, I'm curious as to what you're out and about doing?" There was a genuine curiosity behind her words and she kept looking over her expression. There was an intentness behind her stare that could be considered off-putting, but in truth it was a result from some of the pain she still felt.
