As the plans became heated by emotions, the acting director found himself irritated. He had to put their meeting on a small pause, raising his hand to cease the talks while the intruder was dealt with, causing a silence to sweep the room (at least for most). It was also to give people time to breathe; he knew that the atmosphere wasn’t as friendly as it was before. His next words were quieter even, merely his own responsibilities that they needn’t hear. “Whoever the intruder is, please prevent their advance, and detain them if necessary,” he instructed over his own communication device. When the appropriate individuals departed, he looked to the remaining individuals inside. While the room was a little tense, he had given them all some breathing room. He managed to keep calm and collected with his words, “Continue.”
He was silent for the time being, though he had formulated his own opinion on the ideas presented. He felt as if they needed to update what they knew about the city, in which case a careful infiltration would have been beneficial, but it would have needed to be done carefully. He certainly wasn’t against an attempt to demoralize the enemy, but he wondered if they had the same idea in mind for them. He wasn’t certain their own group could survive a deep reduction in their resolve. While there were previous hostilities, he expected everyone to remember the purpose of their meeting; it wasn’t to feud with one another, but settle on a plan to defeat a common foe. If at all he needed to call security in just to maintain order, he would be none too pleased.

Jaxon Grant
▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓
J A N U A R Y [X] 27th [X] 2 0 1 3No objections? Good. That worked reasonably well for him. He got to leave the heavy thinking to the heavy thinkers and right now he was getting ready to save some people, possibly, and deck someone in the jaw. Oh, he loved decking the jaws really good. If he really wanted to be shady, what with receptionists like them and a group divided like that, they may as well let Dominion inside to host a party. Like now. Who was this Jayson figure and why was everyone a bit on edge with him? No time like the present to find out as he stepped outside the elevator with one coolly collected Mathis.
Jaxon did nothing reckless despite how he was feeling. Judging from the way several armed figures were when dealing with the man who had a detained hostage, it was clear that trying to be assertive meant lives got lost and the situation would go from moderately calm to extremely hostile. He simply nodded to Mathis before letting the figure clad with glasses proceed as this Jayson figure asked. Jaxon was simply getting ready, the male walking by for the perfect line of trajectory in case things went sour. They usually did.
He was a wildcard to most so far. His powers dealt with propulsion and blinding speeds on top of intense and severe heat. He could rescue the hostage in short. Walls weren't a limit for him. So he stood behind the armed guards at a pace to where he could bolt through when the time was right, his feet paced at a slight edge to where one could perform a leap. No energy had spurred through yet or else they would know. With his powers, it was an instant thing that caused him to jet outwards like a rocket, so the most he could do was hide his full physique behind the armed security and wait to activate it. Jaxon linked up with a headset, making sure he not only studied the body movement of both figures, but also their voices. Any crack of any form gave him the leeway to "warm up."▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ O.O.C.:

Leon Farshaw
Leon would have traded Alvin and Carmen leaving for Lexi and Mathis. He knew little about the emotional man with long blond hair and a cane, other than what he had just shared to the room about his wife and children, and really had no idea what kind of strategist he was, however Mathis knew Nova Diem and that was what they needed. Information about the enemy. Still there was relief in one of the two arguing parties taking their leave. He hadn’t had near enough to drink for this. Fortunately Augustine pointed out what Leon already knew. Alvin wouldn’t last five minutes in Nova Diem. Not unless he could block a telepath. “When I said poison, I meant something that would cause diarrhea and vomiting, not kill them. Pretty hard for the Sentries to fight us if they can’t go five minutes without a toilet.” His voice was full of amusement at the mental image of those pristine white outfits stained brown. “Frost said they can purify the water, well they need to know there is a problem first. If we can arrange for it to be done without notice two hours before out assault on the city, will the sick and injured a much bigger liability to the enemy than the dead.” After all that was why mines had first been invented, among other things. There would be a lot of logistics and further planning involved to see if it was truly viable, such as how well guarded the water treatment plant was once they got a team onto the island. Unfortunately they needed Mathis for that. He turned his attention to Takuto. “Halo had a good point before she was interrupted. How certain are you that we wouldn’t just be opening ourselves up to a retaliatory cyber-attack?” Leon knew next to nothing about computers and would accept whatever answer Takuto gave, but thought it worth making sure the possibility was considered.

"As a girl I wanted to be just like those heroes in the books.Someone who fought for what was right and protect people who couldn't protect themselves."
Lexi Darksilver Halo
She wasn’t so sure her family being dead was a fair example. They were where they belonged as far as she was concerned, though Alvin couldn’t know that. It was too bad a frozen tear would melt after a few hours and Mathis would just end up with a drop of water in a box. However she didn’t have anything she felt was worth adding at this point, at least not in the presence of other people besides Mathis, so she merely followed him out in silence. She stood passively in the elevator, arms crossed and leaning against one wall, though she gave a soft snort of amusement and shook her head when Jayson promised them balloons. She really couldn’t imagine what it must be like inside his mind. Maybe she didn’t want to know. Then followed the other two down the hallway to the lobby where Jayson, Adora and another female she didn’t know waited. “I guess I’ll help her.” Lexi mumbled, clearly annoyed that everyone seemed fine with leaving the receptionist duct taped to a chair. She quietly explained to the closest guard that she was simply going to free the receptionist before stepping passed the ring of security. Even if they didn’t know her personally, they at least knew she was a Providence agent. “Jayson, Adora.” She greeted them both curtly. Lexi knelt behind the receptionist, formed a small blade in her hand and used it to slice cleanly through the tape. She didn’t need to hold it her hand, but she found it was always better if others didn’t know the full extent of ones abilities. Besides, the receptionist would need help unraveling herself anyway.

JAYSON WRIGHT
Jayson leaned over the desk so that he could see Adora, "Morning. What do you mean? This is discreet." He shrugged. "In and out, that's the plan." He had thought about booking an appointment in advance, but the receptionist had been equally unhelpful over the phone and so plan B had been formed. "Sure, you want it now or wired into your account later?" He remarked in response to Lucy. He stood up straight as the security guard besides him made a noise and turned to see the three people enter. "Mathis!" He shouted with a grin plastered on his face. "How long has it been? Can we clear some space, I want to talk." He gestured over at the chairs that were used for waiting visitors then moved around the desk to get closer to him. He looked at the woman and frowned, she clearly knew him but he was drawing a blank on her. "Wait a minute, from New York." He paused to think of her name. "Laura!" He could tell from her face that it was wrong. "Sorry, I must have been close though." He shrugged and looked back at Mathis, "How have you been? I heard you tried being a double agent, it wasn't my thing but I bet you loved it." He grinned, not meaning anything more. He was just making conversation while he waited for them to decide where they wanted to hold this conversation.

JAYSON WRIGHT
Jayson pushed Adora's chair a little closer before taking a seat opposite Mathis. He had wondered before the meeting if his opinions towards Mathis had changed during their time apart, they had not, which wasn't really that surprising, he had never been someone who changed his opinions about people on a whim. "Well, I mean, as long as you were happy, right? It wasn't for me, the mask made it difficult to eat, you know?" He ran his hand through his hair, he had forgotten how hard it was to have a nice conversation with Mathis. But it was good to know that things hadn't really changed that much. "I get you, but since I made such an audacious entrance, it should have bought you a little time. I could make some empty threats if you think it'd help. Something about hijacked planes, you'll have to give me a minute to get into character. Just say the word." He smiled then moved on with the conversation at his own pace, oblivious of how Mathis was trying to get rid of him. "So, I'm thinking of holding a sport event between deviants, something flashy and on a grand scale. Kinda like the Olympics but with powers. Naturally, I'm flying out to Nova tonight to discuss the concept but I wanted to let you know about if before I go." He grinned and then looked at Adora and gave her a wink. "I think with a little effort, it can be a big step in the right direction towards peace." He wondered how Mathis would react to the idea.
