Welcome to the Tropical Safari Zone! At the Safari Zone we have begun to hold capture contests! As the name implies it is a contest to see who can catch the biggest, rarest Pokemon out there! The contest is simple, in the Safari Zone you will find many different kinds of Pokemon, from all over the world in fact! We give participants three Safari Balls to use and attempt to capture the best Pokemon they can, or you can use any three Pokeballs of their own, if you do, we do not give you any Safari Balls. [You may use one of yours and two of ours and so forth. You are only allowed to use three Pokeballs total.] You are allowed to take just one of your own Pokemon into the park to use to weaken a wild Pokemon for capture, so don't let it get knocked out! Pokemon are judged on their quality, rarity, and how well the capture was roleplayed. So are you interested? Then sign up, take your Safari Balls, and hit the grass and find the best Pokemon you can!
Also, the Pokemon available is always different. The zone we'll be hunting in this time is the Isolated Island Zone! An isolated tropical island located between Kanto and Alola populated by a mix of Pokemon from both regions due to shipwrecks and it once being used as a rest port.
How to Participate:
The rules for the Safari Contest are simple. Pick one Pokemon to use in the contest, and when you post your character looking for a Pokemon use the random number generator to find out what Pokemon your character finds. Set the lowest number to 1 and the highest to 100 for the main area and 1 to 50 for the side areas. Once your post goes through, check to see what number you got, then, look at the list of available Pokemon, at the bottom of this post, to see what Pokemon appeared.
Then, in your next post once the Pokemon has been decided, begin battling it all in one post. But before you post your battle, use the Random Number generator again to see if the capture was successful, setting the lowest to 1 and the highest to 10, however, different Pokeballs have different success rates depending on what Pokemon or area you are using them on/in. Consult the list below to see what Pokeballs benefit this area.

----------
As long as you still have Pokeballs you may continue to hunt and capture Pokemon until you get one you are comfortable with. If you catch a Pokemon, but then choose to catch another, you must release the first Pokemon you caught before keeping the second. Once you run out of Pokeballs your time is up and the Pokemon you last caught will be the one judged.
When everyone is done (a specified time will be given when the contest will end, regardless if others are done) all Pokemon caught will be judged. Each Pokemon will be judged individually in separate posts where a random number will be used to judge their quality, between 1 and 5 and the number it lands on will be its quality. The other stat taken into consideration is the Pokemon's rarity, its species. A rather common Pokemon like Grubbin won't give as much points as a Pokemon like Froakie would give much more. However, with quality, a Grubbin could beat out a Froakie.
Contestant Prizes:
Prizes will be given out to the top three contestants. The top three are allowed to either keep the Pokemon they caught, or take a prize of Snag Coins. The first place contestant may keep both the Pokemon and take the Snag Coins, if he/she so chooses to do so. Note, that the Pokemon still counts towards your rank limit.
1st place prize: 20 Snag Coins and one Snag Emblem OR 20 Snag Coins and a Pokemon Egg from Alola!
2nd place prize: 20 Snag Coins
3rd place prize: 15 Snag Coins
All participants who did not place receive 5 Gengar Tokens as a consolation prize as well as their captured Pokemon. Gengar Tokens can be spent at the casino located in the Snag Mall.
Also, if you use a Pokemon that's not fully evolved that Pokemon will earn Evolution Points at the end of the contest depending on how many Pokemon it knocked out. Posts that are incredibly short (Pikachu used Thundershock and knocked out the Barboach.) won't be counted. But that doesn't mean they all have to be novels, just put in some effort. You can also gain Purification Points in the same way. Don't worry, the Safari Zone is protected by an Immunizer so no virus spreading here!
And that's it! Get out there and have fun!

The young Electrike hybrid followed the bunch to a relitively untamed island somewhere on this big world upon hearing a contest was being put up for a grand capture. His father figure actually took part in the last one, perhaps one could say he had nothing better to do at the time, but he never the less came out on top with not only getting a Rowlet capture but got a Pokemon egg as a prize with a curious Alolan Pokemon inside. The boy found this as an opportunity to try his hand at it, to get to know the Pokemon about here, and for that matter, maybe get some needed training in. The problem, however, is what he decided to come out to this Inactive Volcano with...
The boy tosses out the Pokeball and out came a fiery beast before him. The Magmar that he pilfered from one member of a nemesis that re-emerged herself. Embers flicker off the body of him, some of which Tristen could see a shadowy aura fade into nothing after the ember itself does. The Pokemon was silent, only turning its head head to Tristen. "Uh, hi there...um...wow you're...a little more...stable than Blitzle was...I think. You just...want to fight a lot, don't you?" A puff of heat pulses off of the Magmar. It was clear that he wanted to battle, and nothing else. Tristen felt a little guilty to these Wild Pokemon. They weren't going to deserve what this Magmar could possibly do to it, especially if he let this thing get out of control. He'd have to be extra careful. This very well could end up like Blitzle in a grand hurry. "Um...alright, then, uh...come on this way, let's see if we can't find a battle over here?" Tristen said, starting to lead the way. The Magmar's eyes stared at Tristen as the boy started to get some distance. "Come on, this way. You know. To battle. A lot." The Magmar finally started to follow the Electrike hybrid. For now, at least.
As the boy moved about the rocky area. This place was in a way similar to Mt. Ember at the Sevii Island, he thought. As he continued on, the Magmar perked up then started to walk off in a different direction, down a slope. "Huh? Magmar? Magmar! Where are you going!? This way! I'm telling you the truth, we're trying to find a battle!" the boy said, taking out the Pokeball that housed the Magmar. "Magmar, where are you going!?" The boy gave pursuit until he found what the Magmar was going for. "...What...is that?" Tristen asked. Whatever it was, the Magmar was ready to go to town on it.
Quickly the boy took out his SNAG and looked up the entry. A Drampa...as he started to look about the entry, one thing showed up immediately. Information that registered to Tristen too late as the Magmar immediately breathed in and unleashed a massive Flamethrower towards its supposed victim. "Wait, Magmar! That's a...!" The inferno engulfed the target and when it finished, the Drampa didn't look all that worse for wear. "...dragon." The old-timey looking Pokemon turned and looked towards the Magmar, not thrilled to be attacked for no reason. "Uh-oh..."
The Drampa unleashed a powerful flame itself, though unlike it being of the fire nature, it had a green hue to it, one that had a stink that made many cower. The draconian flames engulfed the Magmar, causing considerable more damage to it than it's Flamethrower to the Drampa. "Dragonbreath...ugh. Magmar, we have to be smart about this. You can't take too much damage like that, especially when that stuff can even paralyze you!"
"MAGMAR!" The shadow Pokemon snapped back towards its supposed trainer. The Magmar looked back towards its newfound opponent and was ready to charge it.
"Magmar! Wait! That thing is probably tougher than what it looks; you want to keep fighting for a long time, right? Listen to me then! How about uh..." Tristen tried to think. He was getting in a position where the more he recalled about Magmar, the more that his position was starting to look pretty bad. Nothing to reliably to take on a dragon naturally, and he doubted Zyra did anything like a good trainer would and actually taught him other things and instead opted to embrace the Shadow status. Tristen didn't really like what he was about to say...he didn't care for this anymore than him getting his Blitzle to do it a while back ago. "Magmar, use Shadow Rush!" he shouted
The Magmar looked back towards the boy then towards the Drampa. It was fine with that, at least. The Magmar rushed forward towards the dragon, the shadowy aura full on visible as it smashed right into the timely dragon. Tristen cringed for a moment as the attack made contact, regretting making such a call. But it was all he could figure to do. The only other attacks that he knew this Magmar to have was its various other smoke and smog based attacks which wouldn't do too much in the long term, he thought.
The Drampa skidded a ways on its side, then found its way back up, now deeming the Magmar its full attention. Its eyes turned blood red and its hair was now standing on end as it made a mighty roar of fury. "That...doesn't look normal..." Tristen said, looking back at his SNAG hoping for an answer, which he quickly got. "...'Berserk'? Like what a Primeape does?" Tristen asked. The Drampa then forms a mass of power in front of it and unleashes it upon the Magmar with yet another wail. "YAAH! A DRAGON PULSE!" Tristen dives out of the way, not wanting to get caught up in such a powerful attack which sweeps up the Magmar and blows it away. "Magmar!" Tristen shouted. "Definitely not what a Primeape does! This is worse!"
The boy rushes over to the aid of the Pokemon, seeing it on one knee a good ways away from where it once was and considerably more agitated. "Are you alright!?"
"MAR!" The Magmar stood right back up, injuries abound, but stomps off towards the dragon.
"Wait, Magmar! That thing is crazy now! We need to do some-" Something that he was once again reminded of. Zyra loved her smog and smoke...if anything that was probably going to be Tristen's way out. He noticed that this Drampa must of had a spike in power with with its insanity. He needed to stop it. "Magmar, can you use Clear Smog?" Tristen asked.
The Magmar was more than happy to do such an attack. Probably more so than the shadow attack previously. The Magmar charged foward then breathed out a thick cloud of smoke, darkened perhaps to the influence of the Shadow virus, but it was doing its job as the Drampa ended up coughing and wheezing to the smoke, no longer able to focus its rage on its target. The Drampa breathed out, unleashing a powerful Twister, clearing the smoke so it could breathe once again.
"Magmar! Use Shadow Rush!" Tristen shouted, looking to end this fight quickly. The Magmar rushed forward once again, smashing into the dragon once again, plowing it right into a nearby stone wall, losing all will to fight on soon after.
"Magggmarrr..." The Magmar said, stomping its foot down on the Drampa, ready to finish off its victim.
"Oh no, Magmar! No! No! Too far! Too far!"
"MAGMAR!" It shouted.
"Gah, MAGMAR! RETURN!" He shouted, recalling the Magmar back into the ball, forcefully at that. Tristen sighed in relief, knowing that he saved the Drampa from a worse fate. He looked back, knowing that it would be back on its feet...at one point or another. Tristen started to second guess his decision to do this. He then walked off away from the Drampa to find some place to let this Magmar out elsewhere.
The boy rushed off, getting a good distance from the fallen Drampa, if not only for the Drampa's sake, it was to give less of an excuse for Magmar to make the trip back to find that Drampa. Once Tristen thought he was good, the boy took the ball that contained the walking inferno and tossed it back out. Upon exiting, the Magmar looked around, noticing that its supposed quarry wasn't around. "Marrrr."
"I told you it was too far. I was all for battling, I wasn't for you to putting it out for good." Tristen said. "Besides, you already proven your point, you beat a dragon. Why not find something else?" Tristen asked.
"MAGMAR" It said, its heat pulsing out as the Magmar's agitation started to rise with the temps.
As much as Tristen wanted to back off, he knew he couldn't. This was perhaps the only way to do this safely without making a mass contamination of anywhere other than the training room at the headquarters. He had to silence his fear just as he did with his Blitzle. "No more going too far." Tristen said, a bit sternly towards him. "You're not with Zyra anymore, you're with me. My rules. You can beat up a lot of Pokemon, but you're not going to do anything more."
The two ended up with a stare down for a few seconds, Tristen reaching down towards his side for another Pokeball. With the immunizers running rampant through the island, he was confident in putting this thing in its place if it had to come to it. The Magmar relented for now. It at least was going to get some time to battle, at least. It was better than being cooped up in the ball for as long as it had. "Marrr."
"Good...come on, let's find something else." Tristen said.
Tristen and Magmar walked off down the path before them, continuing on around the inactive volcano to see if there was anything of interest. Tristen kept on closer alert than before, now that he realized that this Magmar was a little quick on the draw on finding stuff. It was how he nearly ended up having to call it early because of a Drampa. Tristen heard a few shifts of rocks close by, seeing some roll down a rock side. Tristen held out his arm, getting the Magmar to stop for a moment. The boy looked up, seeing a lone Riolu skip down the slope nearby, only to flip off the steep slope and land on the path before the kid and the Magmar, sticking the landing.
"A Riolu! There are Riolu here? Wow, I almost kinda want to get one, but I don't really wanna copy, Blizz..." Tristen mused. As he thought about it, the Magmar moved forward. "Uh, Riolu? Hey, Riolu?" The tiny fighting Pokemon turned around as it was about to walk off about its own business, seeing the living furnace make its way over to him. "Uh, yea, sorry about this!" he said. At the very least, this isn't a Dragon type Pokemon.
"Magmar, Flamethrower!" Tristen shouted. The Magmar unleashed a massive inferno towards the tiny Pokemon, virtually engulfing it considerably easier than the Drampa before it. "Well, at least it wasn't a shadow attack...even then, ow. That might have done it already..." The boy would be quick to be proven wrong. The Riolu leaps out of the top of the inferno, infuriated being attacked in such a manner. It jumped over, coming down on Magmar, its hand gaining a blue aura on its way down. "A force palm! Magmar! Watch it!" The Riolu smashes into the Magmar, making the fire Pokemon stagger a bit, but the Riolu was quick to back off, hopping up and down, shaking its hand. "That Flame body, yea, not a good thing for you." Tristen said.
Tristen had to capitalize on it quickly while the Riolu was distracted. "Use Smog, Magmar!" Tristen shouted. The Magmar quickly inhaled then exhaled a poisonous gas which rushed over the Riolu. With the dense smog covering it, the toxic fumes started to make the Riolu gag, leaving the tiny Pokemon search about for clean air. The Riolu then darted off with blinding speed, the smog showing the way it went, appearing behind the Magmar. "Magmar! Behind you!" Tristen said. Before Magmar could turn around, the Riolu rammed with great speed into the back of the shadow Magmar, knocking it over forward on the ground.
"Magmar, are you alright!?"
"MAG. MAR!" It shouted at Tristen in a notion of defiance.
"Look, you need to keep an eye on him. They may be small, but they're really quick and agile. You need to stop it before it figures something out to beat you! I would know! Use another Flamethrower!" Tristen shouted. The Magmar unleashed another massive pyro towards the Riolu, engulfing and carrying off the tiny Pokemon in its wake.
When the Flamethrower finally dies out, the Riolu was there, lying on the ground, pretty burned from the final attack, and it lost the energy to keep up in the fight. "Magmar, no. That's it. You won, alright? No more. If you do, you'll be back in the ball again and you won't come back out until we get back to HQ." Tristen said. This only warranted a growl of irritation out of the Pokemon. "Come on, this way. Let's see what else we can find here."

[Main Area - Inactive Volcano]
For an inactive volcano, Amaranth could swear it could've fooled her for being quite active. And hot. It wasn't the kind of place she felt that she'd want to remain in for long, and she wondered if she should just go to a different part of the island. Doing what she could to keep her wits about her, she'd try to pace herself as she traversed the unforgiving terrain.

Bizarrely, she would get a small glimpse at a Togepi from the corner of her eye. Watching as it curiously walked around, she opted to leave it be. There was no reason to startle it or put it through unnecessary fighting. With any luck, she wouldn't see it a second time. Hopefully. These excursions had a weird way of twisting fate around, for some reason.

[Main Area - Inactive Volcano]
Upon making it to the rocky island, Keiko would open one of the Pokeballs on her belt, revealing a sparkling, almost glowing Cutiefly. With all that energy it was radiating, there was little doubt that it was close to evolving. "Let's get you a fight in before we try catching anything," Keiko told Cutie, to which she chirped in agreement. Together, the two wandered into the tall grass, searching for a worthy opponent.
Keiko gasped when the Fletchling popped out of the tall grass. The tiny bird has two types that Cutie was weak to, so fighting it was a bad idea. Therefore, they left it in the grass, looking for something decently strong, but at the same time, something that was on at least somewhat even ground.
Managing to keep the Magmar on a leash for the time being, the pair continued on to explore the inactive volcano area. That being said, Magmar, although it didn't seem like the damage was bothering it, the boy could tell it was rather roughed up. Though most of the damage looks to still be from that Drampa from earlier in its display of strength more than it got from that Riolu who was considerably weaker by comparison. That said, that didn't mean that he shouldn't be more careful.
The problem is, though, is getting Magmar to act more carefully instead of going full-on, all out reckless like it and any other shadow Pokemon would. A notion that seems to be a impossibility, especially considering Zyra was this thing's previous trainer. Who knows what she had this Magmar do before it getting snagged. For that matter, he was left to question why even make it a Shadow Pokemon in the first place? Really, he had that question for any shadow Pokemon. A question he was sure he wasn't getting an answer to. "Uh, let's see what's over here, Magmar." Tristen said.
As they continued down, making their way across the rocky soil, something ever so slightly graced the boy's hearing. The kid looked around for a second, wondering if something was coming from the nearby jungle or from the nearby slopes of the volcano. "...?" He then turned around, continuing to look around then looked up, seeing a tiny bird, on the attack run, vanishing and reappearing to pure speed. "Is that...a...Fletchling?" The Magmar turned around to see what the boy was talking about, only to get smacked upside the head by the Fletchling going full speed into the Magmar.
"MAR!" It yelped out. It soon shook its head, shrugging it off.
"What is that bird's problem? We haven't attacked it? Maybe it was a friend to that Riolu? Or maybe the Drampa?"
"Maaaagmaaaarr..." It spoke, stepping forward as the bird started to make a u-turn and started to come in for another pass. The Magmar breathed in and unleashed another powerful inferno, leading off with another Flamethrower without command.
"Magmar! Wait! Don't! It's too far away and too fast!" Tristen shouted. To prove the kids point, the Fletchling weaved around the massive streams of fire as it continued its attack approach. It then once again sped up, darting off and smashing into the Magmar once again with Quick Attack. "Magmar! You need to make it do what you want it to do and use something else other than shadow attacks and fire!"
"MAGMAR!" The shadow Pokemon shouted to Tristen.
"Ok, go ahead then. Get beat by a TINY BIRD! SURELY THAT ISN'T WORSE THAN GETTING BEAT BY A BLITZLE, IS IT!?" Tristen shouted. Tristen then looked back towards the Fletchling then thought for a second. It was making the most of flying. The bird had to get grounded, at least get it to stop. "Now, Smokescreen!" Tristen shouted.
Relucant, the Magmar breathed out a dark smoke that filled the air which made the bird stop, trying to look through the smoke. "Magmar, over here!" Tristen said, moving to a different spot, getting the Magmar to change position itself. The Fletchling then flew off, managing to get out of the cloud, trying to get a view as to where it was as well as where it's opponents. "There!" Tristen shouted. "Flamethrower!"
The Magmar unleashed another inferno, this time it was getting right on target which engulfed the tiny bird. The overwhelming flames took over the bird, bringing it crashing down to the ground. After making the painful landing, the bird pulls itself back up on its feet with the Magmar approaching it. The Fletchling managed to spring back to life, rushing into the Magmar, giving one hard peck which barely made the bigger, burlier Magmar flinch. "Magmar! Fire Spin!" Tristen shouted
The Magmar unleashed another pyro, entrapping the bird. The intense flames managed to scour the bird, finally bringing it down. "There we go. And look, see? You didn't even need a Shadow attack to do it." The notion only warranted another irritated look to Tristen. As far as he was concerned, the less he needed to use shadow attacks, the better. He didn't want to try to tame a Hyper Mode fueled Magmar. "Let's...just...go..." Tristen said.
The next Pokemon to show up would be a Rockruff - a Rock-type. Keiko wasn't sure Cutie would be weak to Rock-type moves, though. "What do you think, Cutie?" Keiko asked, eliciting an accepting chirp from her.
As Cutie flew down to face her enemy, the Rockruff took the initiative by scattering small, sharp rocks around itself via Stealth Rock. Keiko didn't worry about it too much, as she didn't think Cutie would need to be switched out. "Try using Quiver Dance to make yourself stronger," Keiko offered. Cutie complied, flinging her body this way and that while gathering Bug-type energy in her body to increase her strength.
Seeing Cutie bolster its abilities, Rockruff decided to mitigate that increase as best it could, by making a scary face and looking directly at Cutie, who was indeed frightened by it. "Try using Fairy Wind to wipe that face off of it," Cutie would start flapping her wings immediately, emitting Fairy-type energy that would wash over the Rockruff.
Having had its fill of holding back, Rockruff would start climbing up the volcano via Rock Climb, only to jump off and try to dive into Cutie using Tackle. The move would hit, but Rockruff's momentum would be halted as Cutie, while taking damage from the Tackle, would catch the Rockruff with Struggle Bug, only to throw it back onto the ground. She apparently learned a lot from her time in the Silver Labyrinth.
"Good job, Cutie!" Keiko cheered. "Now, try to overwhelm it with Dazzling Gleam!"[/i As soon as Keiko said that, a brillant pink light would emit from Cutie, shining brightly over Rockruff's face. The Rockruff would flinch in pain for a quick second before immediately retaliating by covering Cutie in stones via Rock Tomb.
Keiko quickly began to lift some of the stones off of Cutie, eliciting a growl from Rockruff. But before it could attack Keiko, Cutie flew out of the pile on her own strength, which she didn't have much of, left. Apparently, she was indeed weak to Rock-type moves. "Awh, you look tired, Cutie. Try using Absorb. You should start feeling better after that!"
Keiko planned this. She knew that Rockruff, being a Rock-type (it's in its name, after all) would be weak to the Grass-type Absorb, and wanted to wait for Cutie to take a bit of damage before using the move. Green puffs of Grass-type energy emerged from Rockruff's body, wading toward Cutie, who felt her strength return to her after the fact. The Rockruff, on the hand, was topped off on the amount of abuse it could take, and had fainted from the stress.
Keiko hugged Cutie gently, so as not to hurt her. "Good job! Now, let's go get a new party member, huh?" Cutie chirped in agreement, but despite asking that, Keiko put Cutie back in her ball before moving to one of the side areas of the Safari Zone.

[Side Area B - Dark Cavern]
Keiko sighed once she found herself in the cool air of the Dark Cavern, wiping sweat that had accumlated from spending time in a nearby volcano from her forehead. She wasted little time in beginning her search for a new friend, however, looking all around as she traveled slowly deeper into the cave.
The first Pokemon Keiko noticed looked like a Rattata, but somehow, the color of its fur seemed off. The creature was a ways away from her, so she shrugged and kept looking.

After hearing a high-pitched screech, Keiko bent down and covered her hair, knowing what that sound was. After a moment of silence, she stood up and looked around. After making sure there were no Zubat around, she continued searching.

"Geez! All these Zubats!" Keiko yelled after seeing another one. She was overreacting a little, but she was a little too familiar with them, having had the unfortunate opportunity of encountering a few during her delivery days.
When she was sure that all the Zubat were gone, she continued her search.
Despite the rocky start with the Drampa, things seemed to be going easier now that he didn't have to resort using Shadow attacks again. At least for the time being. That said, that did raise the question. How was he to get a Pokemon out of Hyper mode? He'd probably have to leave early as well if that were to happen. Something he didn't want to do unless he can finally purify this Magmar, or at the very least, find a Pokemon to come home with and show everyone else. It was a balancing act that he had to keep in check constantly and to say the least, it had him worried.
The longer the Magmar was left out and only to be 'teased' with 'not finishing the battles' proper like any Shadow Pokemon would, the more irritated it gets. It may end up going to Hyper Mode with or without Tristen making the shadow attack commands. His Blitzle did it in the training room that he could recall. He kept Magmar's ball close just in case.
THe boy decided to guide the Magmar to the upper reaches of the inactive volcano, which was a longer hike than expected. The air started to get really cool and started to get a bit thin which wasn't really helping Magmar's volatile, shadow-virus induced mood. That being said, with no battles happening, it did give Magmar a chance to catch a breather and recover a slight bit after those fights that he got into, so at least there was that. When the two found a high enough path, the pair went down to explore that part of the inactive volcano.
Eventually, though, the two would see action once again. As they move forward, there approached a white furred Pokemon that approached them. "Is that...hey, that looks like...wait that is. That's a Vulpix! An Alolan one-oh...I think I should be glad Blizz isn't here to see this..." Tristen said, rubbing the back of his head. The Magmar, without being ordered, move forward more to confront the Pokemon. "You just don't wait, do you? Man, I really need to get you away from being a Shadow Pokemon..." The boy muttered. "Ok, uh, Flamethrower, then!"
With the attack called, the Vulpix instantly realized what was going on and quickly got on guard. Its tails went straight up, ready to dodge. With the flames blown out, the Vulpix leaped out of the way and quickly it went on the attack, the Vulpix blowing out its own attack, the stinging ice of Icy Wind. The hard, biting breeze pelts the body of Magmar, steam rising from the walking volcano's body. "Magmar, use Smog!" Tristen then shouted. This should be something not so easily dodged, he thought. Not to mention, he remembered that not only that Vulpix was an Ice type, it was also a Fairy type...something that was weak to Poison attacks.
The poisonous cloud overwhelms the snow white fox, leaving the Vulpix to go on the retreat, darting out of the Smog with its Ice Shard attack. "Magmar! Flamethrower!" Tristen shouted. The Magmar was more than happy to actually do this for once, because true to Zyra's form as the Vulpix would find out, once the fire rushed through the poisonous smoke, the smoke ignites and promptly explodes in a firey blast, knocking even the boy over from the massive blast.
"...that's what you wanted to do this whole time, wasn't it?" Tristen asked, feeling groggy from having to deal with the attack. The Magmar wouldn't reply, defaulting to its intensive stare across the way. The Vulpix however wouldn't be standing, that was for certain. Tristen wasn't liking this the more he continued to train, the only cold comfort he was getting was that it still wasn't shadow attacks. That's all that was driving him. He was still part of this. Still no need for Shadow attacks. That was it.
