Ragner walked threw the court yard. He was not the most friendly looking but guess that came in handy for his job. Some might mock him saying he was a campus monitor but those didn't realize that there are dark forces out there, darker than what he wanted to be, and they would try to corrupt all and any. Ragner had the appearance of an old Nordic Viking, something he took pride in. He kept this appearance to keep from falling into the new ways of the world, always changing and evolving , never slowing down.
He sat down under a tree as not much was happening and pulled an apple from his pocket and began to snack on it. The students that had seen him around campus never made eye contact with him or even looked at him if they felt his eyes on them. His eyes were probably the coldest yet purest thing about him. They were like clear blue water frozen, like glaciers. Ragner scanned the area as he munched on his apple. On the outside he looked like a normal human man, but that was not the case, not one bit. He was something darker more sinister.

James hummed as he walked into the court yard. He was holding an open umbrella over himself to keep out of the sun. He had wanted to explore the school grounds before the classes started. He was amazed by how many amazing creatures were around in places like this. Most never even noticed them but James sure did. He has found creatures big and small. This went from Pixies, tiny elves, gnomes and even bigger things like dragons and griffins out in the woods.
As he wandered the court yard thinking about what to teach his students he ended up sitting under a tree not far from Ragner. He hadn't noticed the other since he was in deep thought but this was one of the only shaded areas in the court yard. He put his umbrella down and sighed contently before pulling out a small notebook and writing what he has found so far. He was rarely ever frightened of anyone or anything so he always seemed very calm.

Ragner watched as a male walked into the court yard, it was very hard for someone to sneak up on him. His scenes heightened very much do to what he was. He watched him with his head tilted slightly as he came and sat down under the tree not far from him. Ragner stood up and leaned agents the tree looking over at what the other was doing. "What's that ya'r doin there?"
Ragner had a deep voice with an unfamiliar and long lost accent to hit. He bit into his apple again. His teeth if anyone saw them slightly resembled vampire teeth or werewolf teeth. He had to long k9s on either side of this upper row of teeth and the same on the bottom though, they were slightly smaller.

James hesitated before he looked up at Ragner with a smile. "I am writing some of my findings. It will help me when I start to teach the students." He stated to the other kindly. He had moticed the k9s but didn't think much of them. His fangs were obvious to anyone looking at his mouth so he was used to others with sharp k9s or actual fangs.
He set the notebook on his lap and watched the other curiously. He wondered what this man saw most of the time. He seemed like someone who has seen a lot of odd things.
