- Shiloh didn't know much about grimoires, and after a cursory google search he discovered he really didn't know about grimoires. The information he did find was spotty at best; they were all loose concepts with basic groundings in modern culture after all, things reduced to magical tomes in video game RPGs or wizardly fantasy novels and such.
Regardless, he had a few people to branch out to. Kaleb mentioned Algernon having the physical thing, but he didn't feel much like dealing with the Mercers. Once again his search led him to Eve and her "crunchy granola" stuff, and even if she didn't have any tangible insight, it still might be enough to point him in a proper direction. He mostly hoped it wouldn't be that much of an imposition.
Not that Shiloh thought that far in advance ever, but this wasn't going to be a very quick meeting, and he had also forgone going to Equinox in favor of her actual house. Even though he'd ask preemptively, he felt a little bad. Breaking the anti-social barrier was hard, even if he had made thousands of bounds in the past year.
He knocked eventually, trying his best to ignore the distant... clucking?
