Prompt: Does anyone in your herd have a connection to space or stars? Do any of your sorts like to wander, and perhaps get lost in the process? This does not have to relate to the turtles at all, but can!
It is storm season in the Kawani Lands and these turtles have been caught by a massive storm that, as the one in June, seems to have a somewhat magic origin. Trapped near land, they are trying to figure out how to use the stars as a guide to return them to their home. The stars seem unnaturally bright of late, and rumor has it that the Wishing Star may have been spotted, though that rumor has not been confirmed. Certainly these conditions seem conducive to its return.
**Please note: If your prompt response meets the word count requirement for stats you can also link your post in the monthly stat thread and count it as RP for your pony.**
Prizes
This pair of twin turtles might need a little help finding their way home!
To enter: please post a current pre-existing RP (since June 2017) that is related to stars, voyages, or getting lost! Adventure roleplays will also count. Each entrant will get at least one ticket -- non-staffers get two tickets by default. If you do not have a RP, please post a response to the above prompt. You may enter as many times as you wish, but each entry must be with a different character and with a separate RP. RPs must be at least five posts long to be counted. RP prompt responses may be as short as two sentences! We're not asking for a novel. Once again, you cannot use the same RP for multiple Soquili!
Note: This will count for your August familiar freebie.

There are billions and billions of stars!
Username: Uta Who are you entering with? Forsilvra Link to the RP you're using: N/A Prompt response: The mare looked up at the stars, curious as to why they were so bright. It had been some time since she saw them in such good form -- and she could feel the whispers and hints that something important was in the works. Still, the mare with her own star spots, gave a shake of her long hair as she looked back down to the earth. How long ago had she followed the stars down to the Kawani? And for what purpose?
The stars had been vague. They had said she was to travel south and wait... but she had waited, and waited, and while she did not doubt her fortune, she couldn't help but wonder what she was waiting for. Something, or someone... Glancing back up at the stars, she gave a flick of her tail. They were certainly feeling confident tonight.
And tonight. . . once again, she was destined to wait. So wait she would, until the stars decided to reveal their secrets.

There are billions and billions of stars!
Username: ~Latonia de la Courtel~ Who are you entering with? Casalure Duskbringer Link to the RP you're using: N/A Prompt response: Amused as she broke cover and looked around at the dead end, the dusk-colored mare gave a sigh. "I guess I probably should have taken the other path, after all.. Since none of this really seems familiar." Well and truly lost, which was just the way she liked it and therefore no great loss, Casalure sought out the best vantage point and curled her legs under as she laid down. The plateau was soft with thick green grass, slightly cool against her hide and perfect for resting. Below, the lowlands sprawled, shadowed and thick with trees with a ribbon of river winding through them. Above, the sky sprawled dark and vast, scattered with stars. The flecks of light winked and glittered above, and she let her attention be captivated by them until the sound of approaching paws drew her attention. "Well, it's about time you found me, I've been lost for hours, you know. Nevermind, the stars are beautiful. Come over here and watch with me for awhile, then you can show me the way home."

There are billions and billions of stars!
Username: Malikztiah Ankhwave. Who are you entering with? Heka-miel Link to the RP you're using: NA Prompt response: His father liked to say the Stars had blessed him and Mother with their baskets, and if he felt lost then he should look to the stars again to find his way. Heka wasn't entirely certain about that, but he supposed he would give anything a shot now. He'd been feeling lost lately, not himself- or rather, he didn't know who he, himself, was meant to be. His mother's "magic dust" was no help there, he knew the dust was little more than a confidence boost, a tool to make one believe in themself. But since he had no 'self' to follow, it would do him no good. So, the stars it was. "If you truly are behind my creation, then I would ask that you show me a sign. Give me a path to follow, or a hint, to tell me that I'll find something of me out here. Somewhere." He felt like a foal for speaking it out loud, but at the same time, the pressure weighing down his shoulders eased. Maybe there was something to his father's talk of stars, after all?

There are billions and billions of stars!
Username: Summer Raaven Who are you entering with? Rainbow Sherbert Link to the RP you're using: n/a Prompt response:
Adventure was her middle name.
In a reality full of pain and confusion, the mare's imaginary world was one that rivaled those in storybooks. Knights, princesses, dragons magic....her life was rich in that of make-believe fairy-tales. A long, long time ago, her mind had warped itself into believing what she thought she saw was real, protecting her from what truly was, and it had been that way ever since.
Adventure was the bright light in a hazy fog.
Without the made-up stories -- without the promise of a grand adventure, Rainbow Sherbert was sure she'd be nothing. She was a knight, destined to save those who needed it, destined to be the hero to end all heroes. She'd spend days pretending to fight evil, screaming war cries at the top of her lungs and charging at things that were not there. She'd spend weeks searching for the lost treasure of some made-up kingdom, stabbing at monsters with her sword, when in reality it was a few trees and a sturdy stick. Her mind began to believe she things she saw, if only as a way to hide from the pain that was her life, and it was grand. She never seemed to care that others looked at her as though she was insane -- in her fictitious storybook adventure, they admired her for her bravery -- in her new world, nothing could hurt her.
It wasn't until Tiramisu, her younger sister, was born, that Bertie had to cross the line between what was real and what was fake. She knew, deep down within her soul that if she kept up the act of knights and princesses, Tira would suffer, having no real protection. So she dropped the act when life depended on it, when it really, truly mattered, just to save her sister. In that case, she supposed, she was a real hero, but she never felt like one. She couldn't honestly save her sister -- she couldn't steal her away and give her a life beyond imagination, she ultimately failed. She did what she could only so far, and that was it. There were no knights, no princesses, no epic story to behold. Just an evil mother, and a lost sister. And she was just 1 mare -- one simple-minded, silly mare.
Adventure was the thing that brought her closure.
Years passed, and she was still pretending. The world had given her love, beyond love, and she was forever thankful for that. If it hadn't been for her passion for stories, she wasn't sure she'd have ever met Ushin. He understood her in a way she never thought possible, and together they lived an adventure grand enough to be told for centuries. Grand enough to forget the past.
