Dai -
Angry: He's angry at the world. Sure, his parents gave him everything he wanted... Except the one thing he actually really wanted. A real, healthy relationship with his sister. When she became an adult, she left. He couldn't blame her, but when he was told she died, something broke and now he's just angry about it all.
Is it my Fault? He's known from pretty early on that his parents had shoved Seren out because he had been born, because they told him. They believed they were telling him how important and precious he was. Instead, they instilled a belief that if bad things happen to those he loves most, it's probably his fault.
Inspired: Because of the loss of his sister, and his belief that he's caused people much misery, he's very inspired to find a way to help the world. He'll spend hours researching answers for people, or go to protests to have his voice heard.
Lonely: In the end, though, he's desperately lonely. His sister was the person he loved most in the world, despite his parents' attempts to prevent that, and without her, he doesn't really know how to connect to anyone else.
Intelligent: It's pretty straight forwards, really. He's got smarts, and the ability to use them. He doesn't exactly relate well to those with lesser intellects, however, because of it.

Distant: He tends to watch the world from a distance, studying it quietly but not taking much action, unless he needs to. He doesn't form attachments easily, and he doesn't want to, either.
Possessive: On the rare occasions that he DOES for an attachment to some one or something, however, he is VERY possessive of them. He doesn't share well, and never has.
Sarcastic: His comments on life, the universe, and everything tend to be more sarcastic then anything else. Make an error in your math on something? "Oh good job. I always KNEW you were a mathematical genius, and you've finally proven me right!" and so on.
Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter?
Growing up, Dai's favorite person had been his big sister Seren. He adored her, despite the many attempts his parents made to prevent them from being close. When he was 10, his heart was broken by his parents' actively forcing her to have no contact with any of them. He watched her, as best he could, in secret from his parents, longing to talk to her again, wanted to see her every day.
When she was almost 18, he managed to save up his allowance and ordered her a pair of beautiful custom star hairclips that he knew she'd love. She'd always adored stars, and her new hair color she started wearing was so perfectly galaxy themed. He didn't know how to get them to her, but then managed to meet Terri and Mical, who told him they were her boyfriend and girlfriend, but they had made a mistake and were trying to fix it. They agreed to put it in their package, along with a note, for her 18th birthday.
Seeing her flee from them, with no response to his crying for her, broke his heart all over again. Hearing his parents yelling Good Riddance to her fleeing back, however, hardened his heart to them, in a very final way. 2 weeks later they received word that she'd been struck by a car in San Francisco, and instantly killed. They refused to go to the funeral, or let him either, and he grew to hate them for it. He was thirteen then, and despite their attempts to reclaim his attention, when he wasn't doing school, he did research. Research on the shadows he'd been seeing his whole life, that his sister had seen, and were why their parents had been EXTRA determined to separate them. It made him more furious to know his mother could see them too, though she only admitted it once, while drunk and... Well, anyways she could see them too. He also managed, sometimes, to sneak out, and got himself a tattoo of a stars creating a spiraling band up his left arm, in memory of Seren.
He was close to his 17th birthday when his parents got killed in a drunk driving accident. He spent the rest of the time up to his birthday getting them buried, selling everything, and preparing to leave, including graduating from High School. He was going to see his sister's death place, since he didn't know where she had been buried, if she even had, then he was going to go to college, and become a Political Science Major, with a minor in Computer Sciences... Until the offer he couldn't refuse came. He was approached by some one who told him the shadows were real, and he could help... And how could he turn THAT chance down?

Skin Colour: Same as his Sister. His left arm has a black tattoo of stars spiraling up the arm from the wrist.
Clothing Style/Colours: He wears a Suit Vest similar to this one, with trim in dark red, and the sleeves rolled up to his upper arms. His jacket is styled after The coat on here, in the Deus colors. His scarf is worn like this, and is a deep evening sky blue
Extra: He wears a chain cuff earring similar to this, with a larger star on the ear NOT under the hair, and a celtic knot pendant.
