Not long after Lykas walked his 'siblings' out of the building GRAY would begin to speak up through the building's loudspeakers as well as their SNAGs.
"For whoever cares, Lykas has been kidnapped by his alleged siblings and taken to a place they refer to as the 'East Sea'. Its actual location appears to be a body of water between Sinnoh and the far off region of Fiore. This location was known to some as the Sea of Lights, a unique part of the world's oceans filled with large colonies of Chinchou and Lanturn, a place where Manaphy migrate through from the cold to warm climates during their breeding season. But that's beside the point, not like you all care about education." GRAY went on.
From what I picked up on their conversation they want to take him to their supposed mother who lives on an island in that area. If you want to rescue him I suggest you report to Sunyshore Pokemon Center, from there disembark and head towards the Sea of Lights, heading southeast. A Pokemon that can Surf is required, if lacking Sub can loan one out I'm sure. If not maybe that allegedly undead tentacle creature known as Lykas won't mind if I lend out his Pokemon, provided they too even care about their trainer's safety." GRAY said.
Sub would waste no time to go after them and find Lykas, calling Claydol forth right there in the pool area and teleporting away to Sunyshore City.

Once I contacted Odd and let him know what happened, I politely asked GRAY to have Claydol teleport us to Sunyshore, since Rala hasn't seen most of Sinnoh yet.
Once there, I'd track Sub down. "Mind if I get a swimmer from you? None of my Pokemon are capable," I asked him. "I'd prefer one big enough to carry two, but whatever you've got is fine."
"I hope we get to Lykas in time," Keiko spoke up behind me.

Aile would arrive not terribly long afterwards, finally dressed properly. Which, despite their location for this, included a long sleeved shirt still. She looked out at the water after pulling down on her sleeves, making a slightly nervous look before finally speaking. "Er... does it have to be a Pokémon that knows Surf? Or can we just fly and just hang out at low altitude with you guys?" Obviously, Aile wasn't keen on the water idea.

"Sure. I hope you don't mind riding a giant three headed dragon though." Sub said to Terashi as he tossed a Dusk Ball out, the device popping open to release one of his most vicious beasts, Valdemar the Hydreigon. The hydra would appear with a savage roar but upon seeing no enemy in sight and getting the appropriate cues from its trainer the dragon would settle down with a snort.
"He can fly or swim, take your pick. Whatever you do don't touch the two side heads, those aren't proper heads in the first place. Outside of that he'll be fine." He informed Terashi before turning to face Aile. "Don't like the water, huh? That's fine, as long as you don't lag behind. Now then..." Sub said as he pointed east towards the docks of Sunyshore, the signature lighthouse standing tall on the horizon. "Let's go get Kanto's most famous adult film star!"
With that declaration of questionable truth made Sub would make his way to the dock. Upon arrival at the walk's edge he would release his favorite swimmer, Pym the Sharpedo. It was anyone's guess why he always chose Pym for this instances when the Sharpedo was not big enough to keep him dry but oh well. Jumping into the water in his usual outfit the man would jump onto Pym, riding him like a jet ski, and the Sharpedo would promptly take off, sailing through the water heading east.

"Thanks," I said gratefully, not responding to his warnings - though I did take them under advisement. I then strode upon Valdemar, motioning for Keiko to do the same.
"Maybe we should get our own Water-types..." Keiko mentioned meekly as she awkwardly climbed Valdemar to a point she could comfortably sit on him.
"It's on the to-do list," I remarked, noting that I still had a lot of work to do. "Don't worry, I'm not going to ask you to get in the water," I told Valdemar. "You can fly us if you like. Just keep us close to the group."

It wasn't as if Connor was close friends with Lykas, actually he barely knew the guy. But teamwork and camaraderie was important! Or so he was told. At the very least, if he was in trouble, he'd want someone to help him too...not that he'd ask for it. And so, here he was, pulling himself together after yet another gut wrenching teleport. "I really hate that..." he mumbled to himself as he joined the others. Fortunately, he caught a water type not all that long ago, though it was a little small. The Poliwhirl jumped into the water after he sent it out, Connor jumping in after it. Grabbing hold of his shoulders and kneeling on his back, they would follow Sub to the east as best they could.

"Swimming was never really a hobby of mine growing up. Or even a casual pastime in the summer. I was more into archery." The woman then shook her head. "Lag behind, though..." Aile chuckled as she sent out Tatooine, patting the dragon on her small snout as she emerged. "Tati, you won't lag behind, will ya?"
"Gooon!"
"That's what I thought. Shall we then," Aile asked her Flygon, pointing to Sub, who had now taken off. Tatooine nodded while Aile jumped onto her back, then the two would take off, Tatooine racing to catch up with Sub and his Sharpedo.

Odd arrived in Sunyshore with a dour look on his face. "First it's me and he gets his tentacles in a twist and now he goes and gets himself kidnapped..." He remarked, tossing out the ball containing Treble the Drifblim. "We're following Sub's lead. I get the feeling he knows where we're going." He told the Ghost-type as it wrapped him up in it's ribbons and lifted him into the air.
~~~
Far off from the others, Lykas found himself being deposited on the floor inside of a well-appointed shack. "Mother! We've brought him home!"
Immediately reaching for a Pokeball, the hybrid found that they had been removed from behind, where he couldn't see the one who'd taken them. "Where are my Pokemon?!" He demanded as he jumped to his feet.
"They're being held as insurance to make sure you stay and listen." An unfamiliar voice spoke up from behind him.
The Snagems would sore through the air, save for one Sub in the water, as they made their way towards the southeast and the Sea of Lights. Departing from Sunyshore City, and Sinnoh, was pretty easy and laid back. The ocean was rather calm, the Tentacool and more angrier version stayed away, and only a few Wingull decided to use one or two of the Snagems as target practice.
As Sinnoh just disappeared behind the horizon the Dark One would speak up, yelling as loud as he can so that his teammates can hear him. "The Sea of Lights of actually a pretty long stretch so I'm not one hundred percent certain exactly where along the path they took Lykas. I'm hoping we find a clue but if any of you have any ideas I'm all ears." He shouted.
Rough five minutes after speaking up things would get a little more interesting as a Gyarados threw its tail out of the water and smacked Pym and Sub, sending them both sailing. The vicious beast would let out an angry roar, not happy with trespassers in its territory. With one trespasser seemingly taken care of the serpent would target the rest of the Snagems as it unleashed a fanning spray of Dragonbreath, the Dragon energy taking on a blue and green flame-like appearance as it spewed from its flailing maw.
"Let's get some altitude!" I told Valdemar when I recognized the green and blue Dragonbreath coming from that Gyarados's mouth. Keiko immediately had Natalia come out of her ball and land a blast of Psychic on the wild Gyarados. Since the only flier I had was weak to water, I had Yuki pop out of her ball and onto my lap, so she could throw a Thundershock at the Gyarados without risking damage to Valdemar in case she hadn't quite gained full control of her electricity yet - even if that meant taking some voltage, myself.
Connor was really out of his element here and was beginning to regret coming along. The Wingull taking shots at him certainly didn't help. He just sighed, shaking his head as Sub was asking for ideas or clues as to where to begin their search. And then it appeared, a giant serpent tail to the face. Well that was one way to get results. Connor veered to the left as the blast of dragon flames neared him, circling around the intimidating beast. "Really out of my element here... Poliwhirl, use Hypnosis" the Fighting trainer order; the Pokemon slowing down in order to take aim. Flashing its swirl patterned belly, a hypnotic wave would be aimed toward Gyarados.
Aile blinked as the Gyarados came out of the water and knocked Sub and Pym aside. "Well, I think that might be a hint," she stated as Tatooine climbed to avoid the Dragonbreath from the sea serpent. "Tati, you think you could avoid the Dragonbreath long enough to get a hit in and then come back for me?
"Gon," the Flygon nodded, continuing her aerial ascent.
"Hehe, alright then, like old times, kind of. Time for a trust fall then. Dragon Rush, Tati." She gave her dragon a couple pats before jumping off of her, going into a free fall as Tatooine herself dived down and charged at the Gyarados from behind as best as she could with draconic energy. Regardless of whether or not the attack was successful, Tati would still start to make her way back over to Aile to catch her, not wanting any serious injury to come to her trainer from this.
The Gyarados was zapped and rammed into by the Snagem Pokemon, the beast truly more angered than hurt, though it was injured a bit in their assault. While the Dragonbreath was ended in the attack it was prepared to unleash another wave of it until a certain Poliwhirl came along and submitted it to hypnotic suggestions of sleep. For a brief moment it seemed to be succeeding without fail, the creature of rage beginning to calm. Something though would click in it and cause it to resume its angry tirade but nowhere near as violent as before. The Hypnosis was working, if its drooping eyes were any indication, it just needed more time.
"Dooos!" Roared the creature as it began to conjure up a fierce Twister around it, the vicious vortex leaving its point of creation and gliding across the water to consume the one that dared try to put its rage to rest; Connor and Poliwhirl.
Connor's antics gave me an idea, and with that, I recalled Yuki, letting Rala out of her ball (though the tall Psychic would have to stand on Valdemar to do so. "Use Hypnosis on that Gyarados. Put it to sleep," I told Rala, who would teleport atop Gyarados's head and look down into its eyes, focusing her Hypnosis move through her own. "What are you doing? It's the middle of the night. Go back to sleep," Rala said telepathically, using her Psychic energy to add power to that suggestion through the Hypnosis move. If the Gyarados showed signs of trying to attack her, though, she'd teleport back to my side.
"...Back it up. BACK IT UP!" Connor shouted when he realized the Gyarados had shifted attention to them. Despite the attacks from the others, it clearly did not appreciate their attempt to put it to sleep. Poliwhirl obliged, not wanting to become a snack for the larger Pokemon and swam away as fast as it could. As they made a hasty retreat, at least they could play the role of bait. Yay...
