Keiko and I would teleport to the Pewter City Pokemon Center via Rala, who was standing beside us . As we waited for Aile and Fenrir, we stepped outside to find Pewter City in nighttime, to get a lay of the land. The path to the Pewter City Museum seemed pretty simple. But getting in was the easy part. Plugging in a SNAG to their mainframe and getting out without being detected was the work.
"Um, Terashi?" Keiko spoke up as I was gauging where the path to the museum would take us. "Um, about earlier today... I was just remembering a bad dream. That's why I was sad."
I was a little more annoyed that she brought this up during a mission than that she was lying to me, if she was. "...really, Keiko?"
"That's what it was! I mean-"
"Keiko, it's not that I don't believe you, but now's not the best time. Let's get this done and go back home before we get into it, okay?" I asked. I didn't care what the Pewter natives heard, but I didn't want to burden Aile and especially Fenrir by airing out our personal issues. That, and I didn't want to draw any attention to us in case someone saw us going into the museum this late.
"I'm sorry," Keiko whined, leaning against my shoulder. I lifted that arm and rested it on her shoulders while we waited for the others.

Aile would wind up arriving in Pewter City after Terashi and Keiko, but unlike the other two, she'd wind up arriving near the museum after an in-air casing of the building courtesy of her Flygon. She'd drop down near the museum before recalling Tatooine, and from outward appearances, nothing seemed to change. She was still wearing the same clothes from back in HQ, even down to the cozy jacket, and had no extra bags or anything. She even had her staff, which went tucked back under her arm as she put her hands back into her pockets. A small grin would show up on her face as she saw Terashi and Keiko, nodding at them when she saw them.

Fenrir, took a look around the seemingly inactive town of pewter city before heading straight to the Pokemon center where his team would be heal'd... not that Chomp needed healing but what the heck a check up Is In order. "Hey Joy, my Axew and Gible are in need of some healing, It had a bad run in with Combuskin," He said to the pink hair'd lady that stood behind the counter In front of the healing machine. "Sure not a problem," Joy said taking the pokeballs from Fenrir and gently setting them on the healing machine where lights flashed and a little tune played before handing the poke balls back. "Have a good day," she said wishing Fenrir a far well.
Pushing a few buttons on the Snagem machine, the communicator came online "I'm heading to the meeting point," Fen said Into the device before making his way to the communication point.

One way or another, the four of us met at the back door of the museum. "Glad to see you guys made it," I told Aile and Fen as the latter caught up to us. I took a glance at Flygon and hoped that Aile took the time to survey the area, but I didn't want to give anyone orders. We were equals.
Once Keiko was done gushing over the adorable Flygon, I slipped a plastic card into the frame of the door and, after a moment of piddling, got it open. I opened the door slightly and listened intently, using my bond with Rala to sense emotions in the building. After a moment, I opened the door a bit wider. "I think it's clear," I whispered before entering.
As the moonlight poured in behind us I could see books strewn damn near everywhere. These guys must have been working on something important to be this sloppy. Or maybe they just enjoyed their work so much that they didn't worry about mundane things like tidyness. Either way, there weren't any computers in this room. Or living beings for that matter.
I traversed the room and looked out into the hallway to no avail. it was pitch black. After setting my SNAG to emit light, I pointed my wrist into the darkness. There was one door to the left with no handle. I had to assume this was the Employees Only door that lead to the museum proper. To the right, there were about three doors, and the hallway looked like it bent to the left at the end of it, too. This was a pretty big place for an employee area. Though, it was possible that the scientists that worked here also lived here so that they didn't have to waste time they could be using working on something trivial like commuting.
I turned back to the group, and I could tell right away that Keiko was starting to get overcome with the urge to tidy up. A lot of the reason that the room we share in HQ is because of her, though I try to do my share. Regardless, all cleaning would do right now is get her fingerprints on everything, so I gently grabbed her wrists and whispered "We don't have time" into her ear. She looked a bit sad, but the urge to clean died down. She knew I was right.
I moved back to the hallway and motioned for the others to follow me. While it was true I didn't sense emotions in the building, it could be possible that the inhabitants were merely sleeping dreamlessly. We had to be careful.
Message from Snagem Grunt Terashi to Snagem Grunt Keiko, Snagem Grunt Aile, and Snagem Grunt Fenrir
Guys, keep your voices down and mute your SNAGs. Something about the way this place is built implies that the people who work here also live here. We don't want to draw attention to ourselves since this mission goes against Kanto law. Jail isn't fun for anyone."
"So far so good, securities a little lax," Fen replied In a hushed tone before following Terashi, Keiko and Allie Into the building. The museum was something that Fen was going to have to come visit during daytime hours, they had some pretty neat trinkets. Between all the displays, possible books and machinery made him want to poke around and tinker with thing but alas he wasn't here to mess with stuff either. "What were we here for again?" Fenrir whispered to Terashi.

Aile turned to her Flygon, stroking her horns with her free hand. "Tati, go find some place to hide and hang out. I want to have you out for the tremorsense, but you probably shouldn't be following us around in there. Small rooms and all. I'll whistle loudly if we need an emergency exit."
"Gooooon...." Tati looked like she might have been pouting before she flew off, finding a place to land on the roof of the museum. After her sand dragon left, the woman went digging around inside her jacket, at least until Ter jiggled the lock open himself. "Well, and here I thought my lockpick kit would be needed from the start. Oh well." She eyed the door as she made up the rear of the group, grasping at her staff as she looked for any signs of an alarm system. "Hopefully... Ter, you know that there might be a silent alarm system, right," she quietly asked, hoping that the tremorsense would kick off well before any other signs of the authorities. "Forcing open the lock like that can activate it, if there is one.
"And Fenrir, we're looking for something like the server room. Sub wants us to insert some fake identities for members to assume, to help make it easier to move around Kalos. Most of the group isn't well received there." Aile looked around, looking for maybe a computer or something that would give them a lay out of the building.
I pressed a finger to my lips while looking at Fen and Aile, motioning for them to keep their voices down before carefully walking down the hallway to the first door on the right. With my SNAG in Flashlight mode, I opened the door and looked inside. It looked like a storage closet, but it was pretty big for just a closet. Looking from top to bottom, I found a few cleaning supplies as well as some dusty computer paraphenalia. There were even some manila folders full of sheets of paper and a rug on the fl-
I closed the door quickly, but tried my hardest not to slam it. The rug had a Pokemon napping on it, and I hoped against hope I didn't wake it up. I didn't get a good look at it, so I couldn't know what it was capable of. After a moment of not sensing any emotions aside from the humans next to me, I exhaled quietly and continued wandering down the hall. Before I could reach the next door, however, I realized that I'd already messed up.
"You shouldn't have come here," I heard what had to be telepathy based on how it felt. Turning behind me quickly, I came into eye contact to an Espeon standing on the shelf next to the back door - the Pokemon in the storage closet, I was sure of that, now.
Before I could respond, however, the sound of growling brought my attention back to the way I was heading, where three Growlithes approached the party. "I'll handle the Espeon," I whispered to the others before walking toward the Psychic-type with a certain Pokeball in my hand.

Keiko, Fenrir, and Aile can each fight a Growlithe. Snagging is an option, though it'll deny you the chance to claim a fossil. It'll also be hard to raise since it was trained to guard the facility. Terashi's and Keiko's fights will take place in my next post.

"About that..." Fen said in that kind of tone that almost makes you wince at the thought of what words might come out of the other persons mouth. Fenrir turned and like a flash bolted out of the room like he was being chased by a flock of sparrows. With both pokeballs in hand, Fen ran around one corner after another zigzaging through the building with two or more of the dog like Pokemon chasing him.
"Hax, Chomp time to show these mutts how we do it Ragnarok style," Fen sang kind of evily as both Pokemon appeared from his pokeballs. A growlithe lurched at chomp and Hax using the move Bite only to have both Pokemon jump backwards before letting loose two dragon Breaths that seemed square on. Unfortunately with the clearing of the smoke, Fenrir saw that they were unscathed as the remnant of Protect fading away. "s**t! Dragon Claw!" He commanded as both Pokemon shot forward with those claws glowing dark purple ready to do some serious damage.
Both dragon's swiped at the two puppy like Pokemon, missing the targets both times as they dodged left and right. Letting out a little of a growl, Fenrir watched Intently while both Growlithes prepared Fire Fang and then charged Hax and Chomp head on. " Dodge then use Mud shot Chomp," Fenrir commanded as a mud like substance shot from Chomp straight Into both Pokemon right into a wall doing extra damage. "Good job guys!" Fenrir said holding out both Poke balls as the little red beam pulled them back into the Poke balls for a short rest. God only knows what else was going to happen this for it was far from over and way to damn easy for way too soon.
Out of the ball Sparrow flew, the second I relaxed my grip on her ball. Before I could give an order, Natalia flew beside her. I looked at Keiko, then back behind me. Weren't there three of those things?
Shrugging, I looked back at the Espeon. It was agile, and dodged to the left, only to be struck by Sparrow's Steel Wing, holding it in place while Natalia blew a wave of Ominous Wind at it, hurting it greatly. It then Quick Attacked its way out of Sparrow's grasp, but clashed with Natalia who used Me First. This caused Espeon to fall to the floor. Deciding it had had enough, it flailed its Psychic attack around, striking both Natalia, who resisted it, and Sparrow, who took a good bit of damage from it. Natalia retaliated with another wingful of Ominous Wind.
I started to feel tempted to snag this little Espeon, but knew that would end badly. If it knew enough to call me an intruder, it would know enough to call me a thief. Sparrow, who wasn't out of the fight yet, used Acrobatics to put the psychic fox to bed.
~*~
Worried about what else the Espeon might have called out to, I didn't wait for Fen to come back in and continued searching. Opening the second door revealed a break room of sorts - a couple tables, some counters, a mini fridge, a microwave, etc. Deciding there wouldn't be much of interest in there, I didn't bother going in and went for the third door on the right.
This room had documents scattered all over the place much like the first, but it also had a computer, with a tower much larger than a personal computer needed. Confident that this was what we were looking for, I slipped in, walked over the lazily-placed books, and walked up to the computer, plugging my SNAG into it.
Judging by the monitor, this was indeed it. GRAY was already hard at work planting the misinformation we were looking to plant. I looked up to suggest that somebody kept watch, but Keiko was already leaning against the door frame, staring hard at the path we had taken.

Looking around Fenrir saw that he was a little lost but to his surprise, he was in a room full of fossils that looked like they needed liberated from the glass shelving they sat In. Walking over to a few Fossils that looked interesting, Fenrir reached out lifted the glass up and away thanking the gods that he wore gloves. It was a nice little habit he got himself Into when he was going through some phases in middle shool up through his junior year in high school. Tucking the fossils away Into the Inner lining of his jacket, Fen took a quick look around and out of habit stepped back into the shadows disappearing like a ninja In some fantasy novel or movie. "Dammit, I did It again" Fen said as he stepped out of the building leaving what little work that was left to his partners In crime. "Ok guys, Im outside as a look out and so far everythings all clear," He said in thought torwards Terashi, hoping that he could be heard since the snagem gear has been put on silence for the time being.

The woman would turn her head as Sarlaac made quick work of the Growlithe, quickly recalling the Sandygast. She let Fenrir go on ahead to check out his own room before finding her own room, this one having a multitude more computers inside. Aile would turn one on and stick a thumb drive into it, quickly gaining access to the digital contents inside and skimming them. "Hm..." Occasionally, she'd be copying certain files she'd found of interest over onto the small device for further reading later. After a good few minutes of this, she would finally finish and pull out the USB drive, powering the tower back down and stuffing the stick back into the inside of her jacket before leaving the room.

"Where's everyone going?" Keiko asked quietly, watching Fen and Aile wander deeper into the complex.
I shrugged, knowing the disposition of a good portion of the Snagem population regarding non-Snagem property. "As long as they don't draw any unwanted attention to themselves or to us, let them do what they want," I whispered, staring at the monitor directly connected to the server we were feeding information into. How much data was GRAY feeding this thing?

As Fenrir stood outside, he would begin to see movement from the nearby streets that led into the city proper. Several men in dark outfits covering everything but their heads and multiple Pokeballs at their waist started marching toward the museum. Tati's tremorsense would pick up on the vibrations made by their marching, as well, if the Flygon didn't see them first.
"Oh you've got to be kidding me..." Fenrir said under his breath before turning on his snag em gear. " Terashi, we have six to seven men wearing full pitch black cloathing... It doesn't seem to be team rocket but I'm not In close enough range. If you guys need more time I could engage but Id be seriously out numbered here In a Pokemon battle." Fen said while trying to think of the best possible strategy to take these guys out... strategies that didn't evolve the entire city being destroyed In the process. Chomps Draco Meteor could possibly scare the men If It didn't kill them before they had a chance to get away.
